Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront/North 37th Street

We enjoyed our stay all around. We were chosen as the hotel guest of the day and received upgraded accommodations. Everyone was really nice from the front desk, to the bar and housekeeping. The place was clean and so comfortable to stay especially with 2 little kids. Thank you! We will definitely be back again! God bless

Amazing view! Arrived late(after midnight) and the staff were so upbeat and friendly, which was very welcoming. The room was clean and looked nice. I look forward to staying here again in the future

The room itself was great. The view was wonderful. The location was outstanding.
However, we were told the restaurant would be open morning and night along with the bar. It was only open in the morning. The avocado toast was 14.00. With 2 boiled eggs. I asked for a poach that would have been 3.00 more (each). They only have housekeeping every other day. On the one day, we did receive housekeeping they did not vacuum nor did they leave a bag for ice. When I asked for a bag for ice I was given a trash bag. ( I was there for 5 days. 4 nights)

Very nice staff, reasonable rates, and walking distance to lots of activities. The hotel is undergoing some renovations this winter but we encountered no noise or inconveniences due to renovations. Every member of the staff we encountered was very polite and quick to engage if you needed something.

My daughter and I recently stayed here for a quick weekend trip for a sporting event. The hotel was fully booked as a result of several tournaments. Stacie and Ian were so welcoming and helpful during the busy stay! After returning late night from a busy day, my room door had a problem opening…there weren’t available rooms to switch to (and my belongings were inside the room.) Both Stacie and Ian were sure to get the issue resolved quickly and with sensitivity to our long day. The door not opening was a mechanical problem and they had the engineer on site immediately to reprogram my door. Ian was calm and fun to chat with while they worked to get me back inside. Stacie proactively compensated that night stay and even checked on me the following day. These two are in the right business of hospitality! Besides great staff, the hotel was clean and the location on the oceanfront can’t be beat! I will definitely be back with the entire family and recommend this spot to anyone staying in Virginia Beach!

The location isn't too busy or loud, but close enough to the night life to walk. Definitely more room on the beach! Stacie and Ian at the front desk are wonderful! So friendly and accommodating and they remembered us from a month ago! Love the outdoor pool and bar. Rachael is great! Such a family friendly atmosphere. I've been twice in two months and will be back next year!

The room was newly renovated and super clean! The only issue I had was purchasing a orange juice from the little store by the front desk... make sure you check the dates before you buy!

Front desk was courteous and professional. Help me with getting the room upgraded. Even with the renovations it didn’t interfered with my stay.

This hotel is just the best! Everyone was so warm and the service was great! The entire atmosphere was very laid back and friendly, and great for kids! The hotel is located close to many great restaurants and a couple shops, and the view of the beach is lovely. The rooms are great and very clean, and the pool was very fun and had great hours (both indoor and outdoor). If you’re looking for a nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere and great amenities, this is the hotel for you!

Perfect location, very clean!!, service was great (kind and patient staff). amazing breakfast with so many different kinds of options. The food in the bar at the outdoor pool was delicious. the rooms were clean and comfortable. shower was AMAZING. not cheap but definitely worth it.

Recently stayed here, for a 3 night stay to spend time with my daughter who lives in Chesapeake. The oceanfront room with the balcony was wonderful and had an amazing view. Room was super clean and plenty of space for storage. I have to shoutout Stacie at the front desk !!! She was MORE than accommodating. The pool was out due to maintenance and the kids really wanted to go swimming since it was pretty cold out during our stay and she got us approved to go use the pool over at the other Courtyard facility. Truly was a great experience and Stacie made it a point to not disappoint. We definitely plan on staying here again on the next visit !!

This was THE BEST stay I've EVER had at a Courtyard Marriott!!! Everyone was so pleasant, warm, friendly, and very professional. If I needed anything at all, they were on in minutes. The entire staff from top to bottom were AMAZING!!

Natasha is the best! Visiting VB for the first time, we came in late and after long day of travel we were greeted with a wonderful welcome from Natasha. She made our stay absolutely perfect. The hotel is nice and although a little dated, the views can’t be beat. Not a bad room on the property. Close to everything and lots of parking. We didn’t eat here, so I can’t speak to that but comfortable beds, wonderful views and an amazing staff out this place on the map for me! Thank you again Natasha!!

We spent two nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The staff was INSANELY friendly. I wish I had names to share but literally it was every single person we came in contact with. You have awesome pool bartenders! The front desk guy was so so nice and helpful. He explained everything we needed to know about the hotel and area. The woman at the coffee stand was also nice along with the folks at the breakfast buffet. The kids LOVED the pool; indoor and outdoor. Our room was SPOTLESS. So clean and fresh walking into. The view was breathtaking especially watching the sunrise. If I have any complaint it’d be hotel guests smoking on their balcony’s. It wasn’t a constant thing but something to be aware of. We’d come back here and recommend it to anyone!

First off this hotel is stunning! The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet. The workers are super friendly and happy 😊 One of the workers named Tracy was on the move whenever we needed things. The Bathroom in room was very clean and the water pressure for the shower was normal not over pressured or under pressured I would say it’s just right! The beds are cozy and smell amazing! And the room comes with a refrigerator that works amazing. Comes with AC / Heating which both work awesome and cools/ heats the room up in under 5-7 min. They have an indoor pool which is heated and during our stay we didn’t use it that much, but what I heard it’s a very nice indoor pool. We did use the outdoor pool and it’s themed like a beach with a cute water slide and a clean refreshing pool! It also holds 4 big waterfalls that have seating inside of 2 of the 4 waterfalls. They have breakfast that is delicious and super quality (not bad food at all) Overall this place deserves 10+ stars over how they treat us. And the location to everything like the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants! This place is welcoming and clean, definitely book a stay ;)

I had a pleasant 2 night stay at this hotel for the very first time, and it did not disappoint.

The front desk staff was very friendly, and luckily we were able to check in early and they gave us the option of a higher level view of the beach (a big plus!).

The room was a decent size and everything was clean. We did have trouble with getting new towels though - they never picked up our basket of towels either day. Consequently we ended up with old used towels.

The only thing I wish they also had was free breakfast (since other hotels in the area offer it for the exact same price).

Stacie and the ladies were very nice to anyone and everyone!! Their customer service was excellent!!!

We enjoyed our conversations and attentiveness shown to us.

We booked an oceanfront view room for one night and were pleasantly surprised. Been to VA Beach countless times and was disappointed we never stayed at this establishment after our stay. The room was spacious, fresh, clean, and well equipped for our needs. Bed and day chair were really comfortable. Location of the hotel was perfect! A sort of mini convenient store is located in the lobby which I have never seen before but was grateful for the convenience.

Twas an enjoyable stay and your employees were very professional! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

when I stayed here the rooms were exquisite the staff were tidy and professional. The clerk at the front desk was helpful too I got lost once. Our view from the room was amazing! I hope to return to see the dolphins once more!!
