Comfort Suites Beachfront

I was so stressed and she knows why. Rosemary went above and beyond. The room was so comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Location is so convenient. Rosemary deserves a RAISE!!! And again to you it probably didn't mean much but to me
it meant a lot! Thank you! Will definitely be staying here again!

For a 2-star hotel, we were very pleased with our stay and definitely recommend if looking for an oceanfront hotel.

All rooms are oceanfront facing. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. On the top floor, we had an amazing view of the oceanfront. The balcony was spacious & the windows were big to enjoy the view from
the inside. The bed was comfortable & clean. The room was equipped with a mini fridge & microwave.

Location is great, and there’s easy access to the boardwalk (outdoor shower included if coming from the beach).

The service was great, Rosemary the manager was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The gentleman in charge of breakfast was very upbeat and friendly, playing music and interacting with the guests. The breakfast had a range of hot & cold food. Bacon, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, pastries, eggs, etc. (Recommend skipping the coffee though & grabbing one nearby at VLove Coffeehouse instead).

Parking was free but there is a resort fee.

Only negative I’d point out is the AC only goes down to 68 degrees and was fairly weak, so when the sun came through the large windows (early May upper 60s-low 70s), the room got pretty warm. So may be more of an issue in the warm summer months unless they are able to manually lower it for you.

Otherwise I fully recommend this place to stay in Virginia Beach and would come back here again!

We had a great time! Great location, very nice staff, great breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers. I would like for them to offer brunch. The hotel is close to everything (aquarium , restaurants, museums, etc.). We did go at a great time and the hotel did not have a high occupancy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved it soon as you pull in the garage you will pull into the check in parking spot get checked in then with your new parking spot tag pick a spot and leave it ! Onsite parking I know the website states a charge but it's already included when the room is booked so don't be wondering if the card is going to be charged while you out spending lol

The rooms was updated not to long back I believe bed was comfy ( my pillows was the size of a normal pillow spilt into two ) hot water was lovely

House keeping does not come unless you ask which was something I was very happy about I don't want to be bothered and have to move around my comfort zone just have trash out the room even though we are right on the board walk the noise around bedtime was silent room has microwave standard mini fridge coffee station

Pool was clean and avaliable the whole time

Fire pit was always on and avaliable

Key card access to doors

Ice machine on a numbers of floors

Kid friendly ( without the kid noise ) I'm a mom of 3 so I get that lol

Food trucks right outside across the street from other shops very short walking distance my car did not move

Breakfast was not all that others reviews made it out to be give microwave air fryer vibes 🤣 but not enough to knock off stars I WILL BE BACK !

I had the most best experience with the guest reservationist name, Keona. She was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful in speaking to her in my upcoming visit. Keep up the great work.

this hotel was amazing. we came for a couple of days for a short getaway and they were so nice and so accommodating. breakfast was so good. it beat any restaurant. we definitely will be back soon!

What the expectation for service at all choice hotels needs to be set at. Awesome team at this property and the rooms were quiet and clean.

Nice spot on the beach. Once we parked our car in the deck, we walked everywhere we needed to go-as this hotel is in a reasonable walking distance to several restaurants and the boardwalk. Front desk was very welcoming and accommodating! We were able to get a suite with 2 separate balconies on the ocean. Would come back in the future.

Our time was drowned out by rain. However, everyone at the hotel was great from the front desk to the parking attendant to the breakfast staff. The only not so great part was our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor even when we tried our best not to let the shower head near the glass door. We used a lot of towels. Overall, this hotel is probably one of our favorites.

I recently stayed at this location and also had my wedding and reception inside the hotel. RoseMary and her staff treated me and my family/ guest with the upmost professionalism and care. The rooms were great accommodations were awesome and everything needed was taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to care for me and my guests. I can’t leave out this breakfast staff who had the wedding party and guest plus a basketball team and the other guest. Every morning we had the best breakfast pancakes sausage eggs, gravy biscuits , coffee fruit and more. All the rooms were clean and the view is something you just can’t get enough of. We will definently be back to stay here in the near future but to the staff at this location we want to say Thank thank thank you for making our stay the best you are all awesome and so appreciated ❤❤❤ The Thompsons

One of the best, cost efficient spots at the beach !!! The rooms are very spacious and clean, one of the few avail hotels that offer a free full hot breakfast . Views are Excellent . Great Location, The service was Outstanding and staff was very polite . When your there make sure you say hello to "ROCKY" he takes care of the parking at the hotel , He is an outstanding, funny guy who always is there to greet you and share some jokes to make you laugh. And honestly another reason we will definitely stay here again !!!

We are fully satisfied with the 3 nights hotel stay and service. This is our second time to book in this hotel. The only regret is I forgot my backpack when we check out on June 22, 2023. I tried to reach out from the frontdesk at least to ask the cleaner that day at room 502.

I wasn't sure what I was going to walk into. I walked into amazing service!!!! Joseph is a complete joy and will bring a smile to your face, Tina, Rosemary and the most amazing pleasant maintenance man you will ever find are all so sweet. The rooms are great. We got a suite which had a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a door, bathroom, sitting area that had a sink, microwave and refrigerator and a great balcony overlooking the beach. The pool is beautiful. The only problem I had was my truck was to big to park anywhere but the first floor of the parking garage so keep that in mind.

It was an amazing stay. The staff super friendly no matter where you were in the hotel they greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello or good morning. Check in was easy. The views of the ocean phenomenal! The room more than enough space for 2. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Bed was so amazing. Shower was perfect, great water pressure. The hot breakfast was delicious and filling! 2 tvs! One in bedroom. And one in living area. Would highly recommend to anyone. Love it! I could go on but you get the idea...

Upon arrival, the front desk gentleman was just wonderful! I wish I got his name but it was Saturday around 6pm when I checked in. He was very knowledgeable and made you feel very welcome. Slight problem in room but it was fixed immediately by another great employee Shawn?, breakfast was great and the breakfast lady made you also feel welcome and everything was well stocked. Housekeepers were all very personable and helpful. Beautiful view of the ocean! All around great stay! Would definitely book with them on my next vacation!

Talk about amazing customer service!!! Let me just tell everyone about how wonderful the employees of Comfort Suites are. In these current times it seems like good service is not easy to come by however great service is all you will get here. Ease of booking over the phone with Mya started our weekend stay off nicely. Upon arrival in our oversized truck Joseph was in the parking garage ready to help us find the perfect spot. He welcomed us with open arms like we have been friends forever! Once inside at check in Joseph and his top notch teammates, Tina, Tanisha, Rosemary, & Vicki were welcoming and very accommodating to our room needs. And the wonderful service didn't stop once we got settled. All weekend when we came and went they were so welcoming and happy to see us. Anytime we needed anything they provided with a smile. I highly recommend staying here and know we will definitely stay again. Thank you Joseph and friends, y'all are the best!!

The breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel, it’s not even close. The breakfast had an extremely large variety the staff were so helpful and kind, it was a great experience. The rooms were great aswell they had a great ocean view and were very clean and comfortable!

We really enjoyed our experience at this hotel, particularly the good breakfast each morning, which was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had (it had lots of options and was not the same every day). We loved the beach view and ease of access. The employees were friendly and helpful, particularly Rocky in the parking garage and the new employee who was staffing the front desk in the lobby (I didn’t get his name, but he started the same week we stayed). We also liked the layout and size of the room—having the bathroom between the living area and sleeping area gave a sense of some privacy/separation.

Virginia Beach is a busy area with a lot of tourists. This hotel is a perfectly serviceable, convenient option for staying close to the beach. I loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and people-watching! Some noise is to be expected due to location and some wear and tear of the building is to be expected due to the ocean climate. We did have a lot of yelling/banging noise in the exterior corridor from other guests on one of the nights, but the other three nights were perfectly peaceful.

The busy-ness of the beach changes a lot with the weather--I recommend walking down the beach to the left (away from the pier), where the crowds thin out.

My family of four stayed 3 nights. We checked in very late on the first night. They were nice enough to call us and check to make sure we were ok and would be making it in that night. The staff were all very nice. The rooms were perfect for what we needed. There is no daily house keeping (only by request) so you have to exchange your towels but they are quick to handle any request. Great ocean view room, two beds and a soda bed. Breakfast does the job, cereals, pastries, fruit, and sandwiches for heating. All four of us were full each morning. One employee (maybe the GM) was always out and about and asking us if things were going well and if we needed anything. Top quality service here. We enjoyed our stay very much!
