Cook Out

We were driving by and needed something to eat. I’ve never heard of Cook Out and decided to try it.

The first thing that was surprising was how large the menu was. SO MANY THINGS. Most people just order a burger with two sides and a drink which is their special, and it brings me to my second surprise….

The prices are CRAZY-Cheap compared to anywhere else. It’s like the pandemic never happened. For what you get, they could be charging a LOT more.

Everything I tried was great. I did screw up and just ordered a plain burger. Turns out, they have many “ways” to order the burger for just 99 cents more. So my burger wasn’t good, but my daughter, who ordered hers “cheddared Up” or something loved it. My son didn’t order correctly and he liked it also. He liked cook out so much he was asking for it the next day.

So you get a burger and two sides. The sides I chose were onion rings and cheese curds. Both were made perfectly. I also had a chili dog on the side. Delicious.

The ONLY thing I didn’t like about Cook Out was that I had to ask for Cook Out sauce. I saw someone else come up to the counter and get some, so I knew to get some. It’s a great sauce for the rings, or the curds, or fries. They should really make it more available.

I loved everything here. The low prices made it even better. I’ll be stopping by Cook Out whenever I’m in an area that has one.

Had the peanut butter fudge milkshake and it was very good!

Please try the watermelon milkshake during July or August. If you like a watermelon you will love this shake!

2023-07-02. Because it was the July 4th weekend holiday, my order had two things wrong. One was they added bacon to the hamburger and the other was they got the hot dog all wrong. Also, my favorite watermelon milkshake had very hard frozen milkshake pieces rather than the fresh watermelon and wasn't near as good. I'm going to cut them a break for this because they were extremely busy!

Affordable and delicious food! Since moving to the area in 2014 Cook Out has become our go to burger joint. We’ve tried other more expensive burger places but none con compare in taste, quantity and quality of food! You get so much for your money and the food tastes great! This is great for families or couples. Highly recommended!

Cookout is one of my favorite restaurants. They have awesome food and it is a very clean place. They had the best milkshakes in the world. Fast service and nice employees. They have such a variety of food. Also come they're open until 5:00 in the morning. Me and my fiance come here at least twice a week to eat and get a milkshake. Their prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend cookout. I give them five stars.

Great place for a quick bite and super cheap! Completely filled a family of 3 for $18!! They are open very late but just beware that it fills up with a younger crowd late at night and it can get pretty busy and loud. Otherwise, staff is very friendly and helpful and has a comfortable atmosphere. Food is pretty good and great for the price. They also have an outside patio area to eat and a drive thru.

This place is great! The first time I went the drive-thru line was pretty long. The line was worth the wait! Food is good, cheap and shakes are a great topper! I tried the banana fudge shake A+. The staff gets you through the line as quickly as possible and they are friendly. I went back for the chicken strips 2 days later. 😊

Ever been before but my adult son was hungry and so was I! OMG! Unger tasted homemade! Fries were hot and crispy! Milkshake was wonderful. Cashier was patient with my inexperience with the memnu and ordering and gave great suggestions.
When in Williamsburg, I'll be back!
Hungry for fast food? GO!

Fast service and food was really good! Got 2 full meals for $20 and everything was really good. Except I wouldn't recommend the hush puppies, they were dry and not good. Burgers and fries really hit the spot. I will definitely come back for more!

The order came out quickly and was still hot by the time we got to our hotel. The burgers are thin and the bun fluffy. The regular fries could use more salt or make sure you order ketchup or their Cajun fries for taste. I do like the thin meat but I think next time I'll order 2.

Great food... but don't go during the night time hours it's always busy!

If you’re not a picky eater it’s pretty good. Even then it’s not so bad. Milksakes are really thick and taste great. Good atmosphere, clean, fast, no problems. Best part is that you won’t be spending much!

Stopped here for a quick lunch after a soccer game. Friendly and quick service. Food was hot and fresh. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. I've been here a few times and everything is always great!

I get a simple tray everytime and even though they mess it up OFTEN.. The food is always great especially being young and needing a late night meal/snack!!

Food is consistent. Last time I ordered a couple shakes from the drive thru and they were ready in less than a minute, very impressive; probably helped that there was no line, but still noteworthy. One of the few places in Williamsburg open late, so that's a plus.

This place is the jam!!! Best cheapest food you can find in the south. Family of 6 can eat for 30 bucks and walk out stuffed. Super friendly staff and delicious food cooked fresh.

My food was hot. My order was correct. The line wasn't that long. The menu is scrunched together so I felt pressured to read faster to see what I wanted. Would eat here again.

I’m a little confused by the number of milkshakes. Is it 36, 40, or 45 flavors?? Inquiring minds want to know.
