The Wine Seller

Very unique and great experience. Met with family when I was I'm town and we were able to buy a bottle off the shelf that met my cousins dietary needs as she is sensitive to sulfates. The staff was awesome pointing us in the right direction for a delicious bottle of wine and the food was ridiculously delicious. Grilled Brie cheese with apples and honey, whipped feta, bratwurst wrap and charcuterie. Wow I can't say enough. I don't think I recognized any of the 100's of beers they had in the cooler. The beer and wine on tap were a nice touch. Check this place out if you like wine and beer. PS the kids loved the food and gourmet sodas as well!

An extensive wine selection (as the name would suggest) along with a rotating craft beer selection full of rare finds & local favorites. Chef Maggie’s new Cork Cafe menu is *chef’s kiss* — with made-to-order light fare for pairing & shareable bites for dining.

The best part: the people! Familiar faces who know how to help you find what you need…and who make you feel like a regular, whether it’s been a day, a week, a month, or a year since your last visit.

John is a Great owner with an ever changing selection of good draft beers for everyone's palate. Great selection of 4 pack of beers and some good single bottle beers. Great wine selection from all around the globe.
Play domino's, cards or grab a light snack.
Great place to meet friends and chill and he also sells cigars but you have to smoke outside. Give this place a shot!

Owner and staff are very knowledgeable, insightful, and helpful about what they are selling. I’ve never had a problem with them and they have always been willing to stop and discuss specialty craft beers and wine. Must stop when in town!

Don’t let him fool you, John is an excellent steward of this store. His specialty is beer and food, but they also offer an excellent wine selection and can usually order what you’re looking for if they don’t have it.

As far as food, the adult grilled cheese is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Imagine a wine store where you can buy a bottle (at a reasonable price) and then sit down and drink it with an amazing charcuterie board, sandwich, or tapas from their deli, or just have a glass of wine (or craft beer) from their rotating tap at the bar, and that is what is happening at The Wine Sellar!

The Wine Seller has been a staple of my weekly plans for nearly a decade. When John took over three years ago, my experience here has only grown more positive, with the new remodel to increase seating, the music played, the homemade pizza and beer tastings, and the selections which have gotten far better than anything in years past. Top notch staff, great beer selections, and the atmosphere is amazing.

Very impressed! I wasn’t sure what to expect since the first time I came by was right after the new owner took over and they were still under construction. The wine selection is different from anywhere else in town, and as soon as you ask for a recommendation, they are on it! I also wasn’t sure about their tapas and plates, but we ordered a few things and everything was great with a good presentation! Some places in Williamsburg are busier, but you do NOT get the service there like you get here. Knowing the owner is here, and takes such an investment in the place makes a huge difference! Highly recommend!

What a great place! Supurb wine collection, 15 beers on tap, great food, and excellent service! This place will soon be too crowded, so go now before everyone realizes what a great place it is!

This is a hard review to write, because it's hard to really put into words how I feel about this place. It's more than your local beer/wine store and deli, it's like the embodiment of the 'local watering hole' vibe as you can get.

It's truly an amazing place. Great beer, company, and conversation. Stop by to grab your favorite beverage to go, help you find a paired selection, or stick around for a pint. It's always a good time.

Don't let the name fool you. There's a remarkable beer selection tucked away in the back half of the store. Cold cans, exotic bottles and rotating taps for on-premises enjoyment at a little bar space or growler fills. Cheese, crackers, sandwiches and even a reasonable selection of cigars.... the staff all seem to love their jobs. I can see why.

I really enjoyed my time here. The selection was vast. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I really liked the layout of the store. There's a bar and plenty of seating to enjoy their charcuterie and beverages on tap. Heads up. They do not serve/offer domestic beer. You won't miss it!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff! We came here to pick up some local brews to bring home for friends and family. The staff knew the product and had a real passion for it. Offering up samples of their favorites to help us decide on what to purchase. We came home with some incredibly delicious choices and next time we're in this area we'll be sure to stop in!

Coming from New York, I'm accustomed to knowledgeable wine sellers, but all New York experiences pale in comparison to the customized treatment I got from Amber at The Wine Seller this week! I called in, stumbled through some semi-clumsy descriptions of the kind of wine we like, and Amber was back over e-mail with a personalized list of recommendations, each accompanied by a really expressive tasting note. We ended up getting five bottles, broke into the first last night, and it was everything she promised. Makes us wish we lived here. I would be at this place every week.

The remodel is awesome. Great selection of beer and wine. Staff (John and Chyna) are fantastic! If you're looking for a nice place to have a drink and a bite to eat, this is the place!

Went here on a trip visiting family - the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was great, and the drinks were fun! My grandparents are regulars for their beer tastings and they have nothing but good things to say about this place!
