Surfbreak Oceanfront Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

This is our go to hotel when we come stay at Virginia Beach. Parking is easy and plenty of room for our truck. When we checked in, we had a little hiccup, however Nat and her manager were absolutely phenomenal!!!! They both worked to get everything corrected and perfect for our stay! They both went above and beyond what I expected. Your valet staff Jacob, I believe was his name was the sweetest and help push the luggage cart all the way to our room. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious enough for our family. The balcony provides the best views of the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends.

We will be coming back. The location is great the service was great, the room was great despite the fact that there was a stain right by the entrance. The price is affordable. No breakfast but there is a restaurant right below that serves breakfast and is open till 1:30 am. The pool was also great even though it’s small. Over all we had a great stay and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful place. Rooms are nicely furnished, balcony overlooking the ocean with chairs provided. Restaurant downstairs with good food. 1 minute walk to the beach, 30 seconds to the pool. Staff is very nice and helpful, valet parking to a lot that's close enough to walk to, about 1 block away. Would definitely recommend.

Our room was clean!! Sparkling Everyone at the front desk was friendly and very accomadating.I want to stay here again next year for sure.Thanks to everyone I think you have a good team here and a nice place.I'm coming back.

Overall good experience, rooms were kinda dirty, it looks as if someone attempted to clean but just wasn't the best. Stains all over the floors and chairs, whole in wall as well as chairs, we found a food container under the ac unit, and the surfaces wasn't the cleanest. The sheets and bed were made.

Service was amazing from check-in to check out. There were 3 different ladies at the front desk. All were amazing! Natalie stood out just a little bit more to me. She was such a sweet heart. Also the maintenance man came to help keep the balcony door shut. He had to add a board sice the locks didn't work! He was awesome for that. We have small kids. That was trying to open the door. My fear was one of them opening it while we were sleeping.

The room was clean, and updated. The beds were so comfortable and the view was amazing!! Very quiet and relaxing! All of the staff we had contact with was so sweet and friendly! They were very helpful and quick to accommodate. We will stay again.

Couldn't say enough great things about the stay... everyone was great, room were plentiful, comfortable beds... the parking was the only down fall, but not a deal breaker!

This was our second year staying here and we will be back next year the lady at the front desk is so nice and will do everything she can to make your stay the best

I have stayed at Surfbreak many times for work trips, it’s always very clean and a peaceful experience. The bar/restaurant downstairs has good food and good drinks. Highly recommend staying here. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They will text you before your stay and ask if you have any special requests, as well as throughout your stay to make sure you’re comfortable. A perfect oceanfront hotel.

This is my first visit to the Surfbreak at Virginia Beach. It will definitely not be my last. My friends and I found our suite to be spacious and clean. Mia and Natalie at the front desk could not have been more pleasant and helpful. They even texted us to be sure everything was satisfactory with our room and told us to call or text if we needed anything. This will definitely be our go-to hotel for future visits to Virginia Beach.

I spent a few days in Va.Beach with my granddaughter and we stayed at the Surfbreak . Will definitely stay here again . Great location , the room was very clean and spacious . Anything that may have been needed , the staff was able to accommodate . Mia and other staff members were right on point . They were very friendly and professional .

Our stay was amazing the customer arrives was great before, during and after our stay Mia is the one I talk to who made me book with all the information she was able to give me before booking she also checked me in and was so kind. The staff was great our whole stay this is definitely a great getaway place they don’t have a hot breakfast but the coffee and the little stuff they do have is a great morning snack definitely plan to stay again.

Nat was excellent at the front desk, I love where the hotel was located (right in the middle of the strip)... Parking is across the street which was convenient... The view of the beach 😍❤😍❤😍❤😍⛱🏖

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. First, Mia went above and beyond to find us the perfect room for our anniversary getaway. Check in, we were greeted with smiling faces and prompt service. Our room was clean and the view was breathtaking. The location was great. Close to everything. We parked our car and never moved it. We had someone check in on us everyday to see if we needed anything. We felt very welcomed and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Surfbreak for a memorable trip.

The service here is outstanding and completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed at an oceanfront hotel 2 blocks down on Atlantic Ave last night, and decided to check out and make a reservation up here. We are so glad we did! We are completely blown away by the beautiful and wonderful service. Natalie is so welcoming and accommodating. Book this place. You will be happy!
