Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront North

We stayed using Hilton Honors Club points and found it to be very affordable. For this price range, the value was excellent. The hotel is located right in front of the beach, and the rooms were very clean with no trace of sand. There were various amenities provided, and the staff were generally very friendly and helpful. For a hotel of this grade, I thought the breakfast was well-prepared. Our whole family enjoyed the stay, and it became a very memorable experience.

Ocean front with balcony. The room was very clean. There were issues with the door and hinges and sticking, but we dealt with it. Very happy to stay here for our vacation.

We enjoyed our stay here. Right on the beach. Clean rooms, great service and breakfast. Kids loved the bike rentals next door and walking the awesome boardwalk. We'll stay again in the future for sure!

Had my first time staying at this Hampton Inn right on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Wonderful stay, pet friendly and an amazing view of the ocean. Staff was extremely friendly, not just going thru the motions. Felt like home.

I am a hilton team member. We just stayed here for 4 days, may 20th -24, the hotel was very nice, the ocean view was awesome, staff very friendly, the only downfall, was the construction rite under our balcony at 7am , we had no privacy at all sitting out on the balcony, second was the breakfast the breakfast meats were raw , other then that the hotel was was very nice, room very clean

We stayed here for Polar Plunge 2024! It started a little rocky on the phone but the stay more than made up for that! The breakfast is awesome! They had red velvet waffle batter! The restaurant staff are just wonderful and the live music was great! We gathered with friends and had pizza.The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the ocean views! The bathroom was large! We defiantly will be back. My only issue was that one of the 2 elevators was not working so they only had one. I earned Hilton Points for my stay, I was pleasantly surprised about that. I was unaware of it being a part of Hilton! We really loved our 1st stay here and will be back! Check out was easy and the staff is #1!

Motto of "Making you happy is our happy" was proved out during our stay of 2 nights. This team is the most cheerful ever! From greeting us when we arrived, recommending places to eat or local attractions, holding elevators, and to keeping breakfast well stocked. All rooms have an ocean view from small deck with table and 2 chairs. Nothing nothing fancy, but clean, quiet and secure. Right on the boardwalk. We were there in the off season, so they were working on some renovations, (replacing an elevator), but even then the Front desk near by would suggest when it would probably be quicker to take stairs, as we had to share the one elevator with cleaning staff. No work was done in off hours. So breakfast and evening lounging were not impacted by noise. Would certainly stay here again.

Room was really clean. We got an amazing service, all employees we discussed with or met were really nice. The huge safe was really appreciated! The breakfast was amazing, you could get anything you would want to eat for breakfast and the room where it was was large enough to accommodate everyone even when hotel is fully booked. I am travelling with my cat so also appreciated that housekeeping would not enter the room during stay. WiFi was easy to set up and use.

Loved the hotel! All the employees were so nice and helpful. They have there own parking in there own lot you do not have to pay for. Easy access to the beach and centrally located there also. When we go back we will definitely try to book here again. Almost forgot that an exceptional continental breakfast they had also. And by the way there a woman there named Yolanda. I ran into her a few times and her over the top niceness is well appreciated and recognized. Thankyou Yolanda!

Great hotel, right next to Neptune Park and on the boardwalk. We had an ocean front view.

Came for an overnight trip to enjoy some Christmas shopping and the lights. Rooms were immaculately clean. We needed a walk-in shower, and it was amazing. Thanks for accommodating our needs and the great view.

This hotel was clean, cozy, and possessed remarkable views. We had the best experience, It started with check in by Charlia. Later that evening Shelly was available to assist with a need, so simple but invaluable to us. Both young ladies was friendly and pleasant. The Morning team staff was cheerful and the overall service was so good. That is what impressed me the most receiving outstanding customer service.

We're were happy with our room and incredibly impressed with the aptitude of the front desk and hospitality of staff. Even with all rooms full and an elevator out service my needs and requests were promptly taken care of calmly and kindly. Much thanks to Andrea and Audrey for all their assistance.

When you think/ hear customer service, this hotel and staff is the definition. Extremely CLEAN and overall friendly, correction amazing staff.
My hubby and I ran into issues at another place and after a long series of unfortunate events, we ran into the Hampton and not only them having a room available for us right away but their service skills, were nothing but a huge relief.
If we ever come back down to VA beach, we don’t care how much money it costs, Hampton is worth every penny!

The staff was truly exceptional - attentive, smiling, and polite. We received a text shortly after check-in asking if our room was satisfactory and periodic texts throughout our 1.5 wk stay asking how our trip was going and if we needed anything. Requests (ex. fresh linens) were responded to promptly. The room was spacious, clean, modern/tastefully decorated, oceanfront (with a balcony larger than most competing hotels), and conveniently close to restaurants and entertainment. Enjoyed the free daily breakfast which offered multiple options. Will DEFINITELY stay here our next time in VA Beach!

We love HAMPTON INN and it's our #1 on the list of hotels for us despite all the other luxurious hotels with "sparkling" amenities but poor services, HAMPTON INN always delivers: Room Choice (despite a non guaranteed policy - they still deliver); good pricing and DELICIOUS complimentary breakfast during your stay; friendly staff members and guests as well, not to mention FREE parking at the hotel (super easy access).

We give HAMPTON INN a 5 STAR and it's our hidden gem where we return to all year round 5 times a year!

We had a good stay here clean and well kept

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The woman who runs the breakfast every morning is an absolute delight. The buffet is also very good. Our ocean front room was clean and comfy. This location is set on the perfect spot on the boardwalk. On our last day we watched a pod of dolphins from our balcony. We were definitely sad to go! Everyone is so nice and such a lovely place. Thanks for a great stay!
