Ocean Resort

So I read prior reviews and was ready to cancel they were so terrible. I'm here now and the room is clean, it's comfortable, the bed is firm pillows work and the view is great. The location is great. It's not the best hotel but I picked this one because the price was right. I am not disapointed. The location is awesome there's a concert stage next door that they do music at nightly free. Your in the middle of everything. The pool is colder. Everything in this hotel is dated little chipping here and there but all in all it works and your right on the ocean
I would book it again at these prices. It feels safe no bed bugs we stayed on 7th floor. Don't let the negative reviews scare you

Ocean Resort Casino is great. We use all the amenities like pool and spa’s and great restaurants. The slots are fun to play and we can usually get a free night room comp if we ask. The rooms and views are spectacular. We always find something new and fun when we go to Atlantic City.

The room is well worth the $65 a night compared to the hotels on each side of this hotel if you want a luxury this isn't it but if you want practical then it's this one. Went to Virginia Beach in Feb 24' most all places were closed until 12 or 2pm bc it's off season but with that it's not super busy at all

We had blood on our pillow cases, lampshade, a broken light and the guy at the front desk gave me new pillow cases looked at the light and nobody came up to fix the light or get rid of the bloody lampshade!! We got stuck on the elevators, my kids wouldn’t swim because the water in the pool was gross!! Only good thing was our view besides that the hotel and rooms were disgusting!!!

The room is magnificent!!!! PLEASE TRY THE SUITE! BREATH TAKING VIEWS!
STAFF AT CAFE THE LATINOS LADIES NOT TOO NICE AND LIED AND SAID THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH. THE WALK TO YOUR ROOM IS LONGER Than THE HOLLAND TUNNEL LOL

Oceanfront property with a balcony. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Price is right espeicially for summer

We really enjoyed our stay, once we booked . We arrived , super fast professional check-in.
The rooms looked just like pictures .
We felt the space was clean. Nice towels & beds comfy. Very friendly staff. Free coffee and juice next to elevator. The hotel was clean. We will always book here when on vocation . Priced reasonable. Thanks again for a great stay.

This is my therapeutic center. I simply shut the room door, slide open the balcony doors, and relax while listening to their soothing sounds of the ocean...all for a very reasonable price.

This is a great hotel with all ocean front rooms. Our room was clean, staff was friendly, and we were steps from the beach. Being able to sit on the balcony and look at the ocean was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable and clean hotel. The housekeeping staff was very thorough and polite. I appreciate the No Smoking policy even on balconies. We like to keep the balcony door open to enjoy the ocean sounds and loved not having to smell weed and tobacco smoke in our room. I would totally stay here again.

Wonderful stay, the staff member taylor was working when i checked in and she went above and beyond for me, if there were more employees like her things would go alot smoother. Room was nice and clean view is beautiful. I read the reviews and was skeptical but was proven wrong. I give this hotel a 5 out of 5, xthe staff a 10 out of 5. I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel on the fourth floor elevator they have two for both working breakfast is just coffee and juice. Pool is indoors. Everything was great in a great view of the beach

Kudos and many thanks to ocean resort and general manager Tirth Desai!. They put us up at the last minute for an entire week and even found rooms on the same floor. The entire staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had originally booked at a different hotel down the street and upon checking in found the room's extremely filthy and the management didn't even care. We called ocean resort and they were able to provide us with 2 rooms and even discounted our parking for the week because of the awful experience we had at the first hotel.
All of the staff were extremely nice and were always asking if there was anything we needed. Coming in at the last minute they could have charged us a lot more but they kept the price very reasonable and we are very appreciative.
It is a well run hotel and will be adding a restaurant soon. Thank you for saving our family vacation by accommodating us at the last minute. Great location.Great service. Rooms were clean and freshly painted. Wish we would have booked here to begin with!

The location is great right on the beach. The hotel is very old, dingy and the rooms are also very old. For the price we paid for 1 night, it was ok. Would not recommend staying here for longer than a night.

We were greeted by staff at the desk, that were extremely pleasant to talk to and that set the mood for the entire stay! The room was ready early, view was tremendous, beds were comfortable and everything was very clean! The entire staff was friendly and would offer words of kind, at each meeting or passing. Every room faces the ocean, has it's own balcony and the rooms as well as balconies are no smoking areas! Love that aspect of cleanliness also. I can't think of anything that wasn't great. Upon checkout, our car had a dead battery (not sure why it died) and would not even try to start. The desk staff was more helpful than they needed to be and tried everything they could to help us. They had maintenance get a jump box and try it. They all were very understanding and sympathetic to our situation. We did get it going and were on our way.

I can't say enough good things to truly show how great this place and the people are! I highly recommend staying here, anytime a trip to the beautiful Virginia Beach area is planned!

Incredible staff, views, and proximity to the best of Virginia Beach oceanfront!
Having stayed here for almost 3 months on business, I must say that this hotel has been better than I ever could have deserved or dreamed. The staff is top notch, friendly, and constantly willing/able to fully focus on their customers despite being inundated with tasks at any given moment. Excellent service. To boot, the views are idyllic (sunrises <3 ) and some of the best spots for food and drinks in VB are less than 1/4 mi away (CP Shuckers, Doc Taylor’s, LunaSea, The Bunker, Harpoon Larry’s, etc.)

I'm really torn on the stars...honestly.
I would give it a 4 star rating but the hairdryer in my room did not work and when we asked for an extra night the attendant did not seem like it was possible but it WAS. For the price of this place it was well worth it. This is our first time hear in Virginia Beach. We might come back. Just know the weed smell is everywhere!

We had booked at another hotel and after one night had a bad experience and left. We found Ocean Holiday and it was a great choice. The staff even left us look at a room before renting. They took us right in! The rooms were very clean. I didn't feel like I needed to bleach everything as soon as I walked in. The staff was friendly and they left us a generous amount of towels and washcloths, unlike other places I have stayed. The beds were very comfortable and the complementary breakfast was good. All in all, it was a great stay. Would definitely go back!!

The hotel was clean, water was hot, the staff was pleasant, and the room was clean. They don't have breakfast, but that didn't bother me since I don't eat breakfast, I was able to walk to all my destinations would book again

Let me start with my booking experience. I booked king bed and end up having kids so at the last time need to change 2 queen bed. They did it for me and I was so happy. Front desk staff was very helpful. They allow us to use restroom and park the car even after checkout. Seems like hotel run by Family. Cleaning lady was also good and gave us lots of extra towel. Location is excellent. I always support local business and this guys were great in compete with some big daddies around.
