Travelodge by Wyndham Virginia Beach

I got a Double Queen room. It came with a TV, fridge, coffee maker and microwave.

As far as food and entertainment goes, the oceanfront/boardwalk is literally across the street.

There are TONS of restaurants --- dine in as well as fast food.

There is a skate park near, a Reiki center, and a bunch of other cool things that you can do.

***MY PERSONAL ADVICE: try Chichos pizza and/or Marcos Pizza for something on the go and delicious, especially if you have children.

There's coffee available in the morning, in the front office.

I was treated well. The people who work here are not overly friendly but they are not rude either, which works for me. It made the check in process quick so that I could get to my room and go about my day/night. I've stayed here over a couple of times already.

No loudness at night.
It's not infested, but there are huge roaches outside sometimes so keep your door closed and your room COOL and dry, not warm.
Keep moisture off the floor as well as crumbs and you will be okay.

Everything is clean and comfortable every time I stay.

The outlets work.

TV works.

Overall, you get your money's worth.

The room we stayed in came with an excellent view of the ocean and of course it was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. The only issue we had with this stay was losing our parking pass and fearing that we will have to pay extra, however, Jimmy at the front desk was empathetic and allowed us to receive another pass at no additional charge. Being a mom on a budget I appreciate his kindness and hospitality therefore this hotel deserve five stars for having great customer skills and common courtesy. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable rate and appreciate decent caring people💫

They really were great and helpful. Had a situation and really appreciated the help and rate I got the room for. Definitely suggest this place if you don't need fancy and want a clean room. The pool is kinda small but I enjoyed it.

Overall we had a good time here...
We booked the room and arrived about 2 hours later. When we got there we was given a room that had not been cleaned by the maid yet.. We returned to the office and they made it right.. We got an upgrade and it was a simple mistake.. We got the upgraded room right next door..
The office guy Adrian was very pleasant and kept apologizing but really other than the walk was no inconvenience..
In all the place was nice 👌😊.. Everything worked good the place was clean and comfortable 😊...
Our maid Jackie was absolutely amazing... She went out of her way to comfort and help us... She earned you 2 of the 5 stars.... GIVE HER A RAISE..
The location here is really good literally a 1/2 block walk to the beach....
This is a great place the pool was clean and lots of people taking advantage of it was 🏊 swimming and having fun...

A smidge run down but, for being right across the street from the beach and free parking who cares? The staff is lovely! They treat you like family and what your stay to be the best it can be! Owners are on sight and always are asking how your stay is and if there’s anything you need. If you have any problems or questions the front desk is always willing to help. Rooms are spacious and fit 4 comfortably.

A bit rundown from the outside, but great location, room was cleaned daily, maids and other service folks were very pleasant. Pool was very refreshing and clean. Breakfast was fine for juice/coffee and some pastries/cereal/bread.

Booked a room here for one night and it was exactly what I needed! The room itself was a very clean and odor free room, which was excellent being that it was a SMOKING room! On top of that! I was checked into my room an hour early before the usual after 4pm policy and was given my parking pass right THEN and THERE! The two guys at the front desk who helped me, were very polite and treated me with RESPECT. I had a great time at the beach and was never hassled or dissapointed during my stay here at the Travelodge at 2802 Atlantic Ave. THIS WILL BE my go to hotel for Virginia Beach. Look forward to booking another trip here VERY SOON! Thank you again!!

My family had an amazing stay! Room was clean, front desk was extremely helpful, and housekeeping was on things and efficient! Everyone was polite, and made us feel welcome! Thank you Travelodge! We will see you again!

This was a very nice place to stay. It was just across the street from the beach front. Very friendly staff, very nice rooms, they were a little small but if you are gonna be gone 95% of the time and just use the room to sleep and shower it's not a problem. They will also allow you to look at the room before you decide to stay there which is a huge plus in my book.

Definitely the finest of "motels" I've had the pleasure of rooming in, in Virginia Beach. And there have been many. For a very reasonable rate, not only did all the electronics work - but my amenities included such things as an iron and ironing board, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (and accoutrements) but also.. decent toiletries, name brand and whatnot. Icing on the low-budget cake was that staff was actually quite pleasant, and informative. As a frequenter of cheap motels, I can assure you this is of a higher caliber than all or most in the Oceanfront area with similar rates. Way to go, Travelodge 2802.

Wonderful place management are very nice and helpful

I stayed there over Memorial Day weekend and it was nice. The room was large and clean, had plenty of parking spaces, didn't have any problems at all. I enjoyed it.

Great place to just chill and go to the beach. The staff could not be any more friendly. The rooms are nice and clean and the continental breakfast is OK. Would stay here every time I need beach time!

This hotel is an older one, but that only added to the charm for us. It was very affordable, clean, the room was spacious and it had a full kitchenette. Great stay!

the hotel was okay some of the appliances werent working but for the most park the beach access and food access was great. the lady at desk was very nice and the pool was very clean and so was the room

Great place, good price and right there by the ocean. Staff was nice and accommodating. Good conversation as well. Oh, parking is free if you're a guest at the motel!

I feel the negative reviews are far too critical for this hotel. You get a decent clean well located room.

Very clean rooms. Nice people who works there. Had a great time with family in the pool. Was nice meet people to hang out with at the pool.
