Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

Booked this hotel for a Birthday weekend for my wife. We stayed 3 nights and wish it was longer. The hotel is vey clean. The service is on point. The restaurants and bar were great as well. The staff were always friendly and willing to help. There are so many activities that they setup throughout the day, definitely take advantage and sign up. I am always nervous about finding somewhere to sit, but there enough seating around and near the pool. The pool was clean and nice (both indoor and outdoor). The beach is a step away which is very convenient. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

Great hotel to stay at. Parking has awesome parking accommodations. Given a pass to leave and come back into the parking garage. The wrist bracelets are really good for you. Takes away from forgetting about the key card.
The room was nice but would like to see more decorations on the wall. The balcony gave a wonderful view of the beach. The bathroom is very roomy, and the shower is nice. There is plenty of room for two people.
The bed was comfortable, but the illows seemed small, however, understandable. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Beautiful hotel and I have to commend Tyler Ford for providing an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, Tyler went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room, which was not only spacious but also beautifully decorated with all the amenities we could ask for.

My fiancé and I recently visited the Marriott Virginia Beach to explore it as a potential venue for our wedding next year, and we were thoroughly impressed by the level of service we received, especially from Louis, the shuttle driver and greeter. Louis went above and beyond, giving us a VIP tour of the property, introducing us to other staff members, and truly embodying the spirit of exceptional hospitality.

Although we had a site tour scheduled with the Director of Weddings, I was so excited to see the banquet areas that I couldn’t wait. Louis overheard my excitement and, feeling empowered to make me happy, took it upon himself to show us around. His warm and welcoming demeanor, attention to detail, and dedication to making our experience memorable left us convinced that this is the perfect place for our special day.

Aesthetically, the hotel is beautiful, but it’s the day-to-day interactions with the staff that truly make this property stand out. In addition to Louis’s outstanding service, every team member we encountered was friendly and professional, contributing to a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, and its aesthetic appeal is undeniable. If you’re looking for a top-notch experience where the staff genuinely cares about your stay, the Marriott Virginia Beach is a must-visit. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding here!

Absolutely loved my stay here. Will definitely go back. It gives a nice resort type feel. Pools, indoor/outdoor. Just beyond that is the beach. Rooms are very clean. Everything you need is on the property, coffee, ice cream, food/drinks. All well worth it!!

Great experience all around. Every single team member I met in the hotel went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Location, cleanliness and spaciousness of the room was fantastic. Great restaurants within walking distance. Looking forward to my next stay!

Service hotel they took my bags to the room which was very nice.

The cafe at the pool is very good as well.

The only negative was the cafe was short staffed but they did their best to make up for it.

This hotel is beautiful! The view of the ocean beachfront is spectacular. The staff at the pool, restaurants , greeters, and management are wonderful , professional, and pleasant and genuinely want you to have a wonderful experience here at the hotel. The front desk manager and team were excellent 👏 I appreciate them answering questions and helping us to get the most out of our experience at this hotel.

It is a great property to stay at. You cannot beat the location. My only negative is that you have to call and remind the house keeping to clean your room and in spite of that sometimes they forget.
I would like to give a shout out to Antoine D from housekeeping for being so helpful during my stay. my key would just refuse to open my door and this happened a couple of times and he was always willing to help me out so Thank you Antoine!

Sydney is the best. She has the most knowledge, professional attitude, and experience here. We’ve been visiting the Marriott for 2 years and it’s always a great time. Key cards/Wrist bands often don’t work and sometimes staff are still new so they won’t be as knowledgeable on how to assist with certain issues. Megan Miller, the manager at Tulu restaurant is also great and knowledgeable. She followed through with our needs. Thank you Sydney we hope to see you again next year.

We totally recommend this hotel, definitely one of the best in Virginia Beach. The staff is wonderful, rooms are very clean, great location, a lot of parking lot, close to the historic Cavalier. The beach is Private, close amenities and delicious restaurant Orion’s Roof with the best view💖💖💖

We didn't stay overnight at the hotel, but we went to a baby shower here. They hosted it in one of the suites on the 4th floor. The suite was super nice--ocean view, lots of room for sitting & mingling. There was also a bice little bar & outdoor patio/balcony.

Beautiful view of beach from hotel room. I was able to see porpoises in the water. Naval air station was nearby, fighter jets were flying overhead.

My wife presented at a conference here. They have plenty of event space and multiple conference rooms which were nice. The event rooms were clearly marked which made it easy for me to find where she was presenting at.

This hotel was very clean and modern. I enjoyed the historical aspect about the Cavalier Beach Club and Hotel and really enjoyed checking out the living plant wall.

Probably the best Marriott in the country. Awesome location, beautiful decor, service, large rooms with ocean view and the most important thing: GOOD and fresh food omg, for breakfast lunch and dinner! No need to go out other than their sister Cavalier hotel next door.

First-time customer here and I must say, the front
desk staff is respectful, polite, and patient. Sydni
& Rosanna took the time to explain each room
option and helped me choose the best one for my
needs. The view is amazing, and I appreciate the
convenience of having restaurants inside the
hotel. Plus, gaining access to amenities at a
connected neighboring property adds even more
value!

This property is so beautiful. The staff is AMAZING, friendly, and helpful. Multiple restaurants at The Cavilier Resort have made Trip Advisor's top 10 restaurants of Virginia Beach so you can always find something good to eat. The hotel is slightly past the end of the boardwalk, so the beach is usually less crowded. There is always something fun going on from wine tastings to more family friends activities like meet the mermaid and Jungle Jack. I think it was meant more for children, but I found getting to hold the large snake he brought in pretty thrilling. I wish they were pet friendly so I could bring my baby, but at least you never have to worry about the room smelling like a dog. Room service only goes until 9 pm, but at least the Embassy has a little shop that's open 24 hours, so you can get snacks if you need to. Plus, with door dash, you can always just have food delivered. You have to pick it up in the lobby. The delivery person can't bring it up because you need a key card to use the elevator. I didn't mind that though, I appreciate the security aspect. I like knowing that not just anyone can get on my floor. Speaking of security, their security team is pretty awesome. I can be quite forgetful and leave my stuff behind. I lost my phone and they were able to track it down and get it back to me in less than an hour. I was having so much fun that I barely missed it. I only noticed it was missing when I went to take a picture of my Nachos for TNT. I never did get that picture but the Nachos were delicious 😋 Oh and don't forget to pre book your appointment at seahill spa. I didn't and wasn't able to get in but I'll remember to book I'm advanced next time. Oh same with some of the restaurants like Orions and the ones at the Cavilier Hotel. We tried getting into the Hunt room, but they were booked up most of our stay.

We are honeymooning and having a great time. We love the hotel and don't want to leave. Wish we could stay another 2 nights. 🙏💯🤩🤩🤩

It's been fun and the tulu restaurant has some amazing food with vegan and gf options which I loved!!👍

We have stayed at this property four times. They have really upped their level of service and customer care. The rooms are clean and views are gorgeous. The addition of infused water in the lobby is a nice touch. Guests appreciate the little things. My husband was here for work, and they easily allowed me to check out a little bit later. Also, their crab cakes are the best I have ever had, and are probably the finest in the world. 🦀

Nice hotel and conference room space that we've used for work. Also, sometimes as a local when you're beaching on 45th street and have to use the bathroom, this is the go to spot.

For the times that i have been here for work/dining the hotel staff have been some of the most friendliest and welcoming.
