DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach

Stayed here for a quick night in VA Beach. Easy check-in. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and towels. Bathroom clean. We felt very comfortable staying here. One of the 3 elevators were out, so that was mildly cumbersome. As of the date of this post, would stay here again and would recommend others to stay.

Stayed here on a Thursday through Sunday. The staff was very friendly, when I got to my room it was a bit warm. I didn't see the thermostat only the wall unit and was not able to turn on the air conditioner. When I called front desk they sent two maintenance guys up to help. They came up quickly and helped out, overall there was no issue but they both were very friendly and helpful.

There's a bar and restaurant downstairs that was open pretty late and a little snack area to buy things near the front desk. Overall, it was a great experience. I would stay here again.

wish I could’ve used the pool however there were some sort of basketball convention or something like that with children and the two times I checked the pool was packed with kids. However, I don’t think that is a regular thing. I am not sure.

Amazing location and beautiful property. Very family-friendly with spacious rooms. The location is approximately 1.9 miles from the beach ⛱ but a very quick drive via lyft, a personal vehicle, or bike rental. Gabby at the front desk was amazing and made sure everything was up to our standards. I've lodged at thousands of Hilton Properties and Gabby ranks in my top 5 team members. I was scared to stay here due to the several negative reviews, but I was pleasantly suprised by this hotel! The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great location. I really didn't see many pets until it got close to our departure. I would stay here again!

The thing about this hotel is that every time I stay here someone always makes my day. This time I was in my room after a long day of work. All I wanted to do was shower and relax for the night. It was around 10:40 at night and my tv wasn’t working. I called down to the front desk and told them my issue. The engineering department was at my door within minutes. The tall guy with glasses(don’t remember his name) was in an out within 5 minutes. Had my tv working and sound was playing beautifully. He had the best manners and just made our stay so easy and perfect. Definitely coming back when we in town. Thank you!!

Amazing hotel, the staff was very courteous, professional and helpful. The room was cozy and very relaxing. There's a restaurant on the premise, fitness room, and pool.

Room was clean neat and had nice furniture. Hotel had a little noise because they are remodeling some floors.
The food at restaurant is phenomenal it doesn't matter what you order. It's the type of menu where it's straight 15$ no cents if you know what I mean. I stayed here 2 weeks for work and food was just great. The drinks and service in restaurant was perfect also. Thanks again.

We love staying here when we visit family In Virginia Beach. It’s right off the road and close to everything. Of course the cookie is an added bonus but we come for the cleanliness and cozy rooms.

Doubletree hotel is such a good place to go to if you want to go on a vacation and you need a hotel to stay at. It’s probably like 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and the rooms inside are gorgeous. I was in the presidential suite so I don’t know about any of the reviews talking about the rooms, but there was two sides left and right privacy doors And there was a lot of windows. I really loved being at the Doubletree.

I actually went here for a conference. They have several meeting room spaces and the food was delicious. I did walk around a bit and saw that the hotel had modern decor and was well kept. I also saw an indoor pool and there was ample parking. The staff I encountered was friendly and welcoming. It's located about 10 minutes from the oceanfront and would be a nice spot for a weekend getaway.

Greatest hotel experience I’ve had so far, the people at the bar were amazing and gave us the absolute best first time experience at a bar and the hotel staff were great, not a single problem caused by anyone

Personally I thought this was a really nice place to stay. It came a great price. It's well located, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were well furnished and modern. Had ample convenient parking . Most notibly this place was clean I mean really really clean. That and some of the best warm cookies you could eat.

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful!! The front desk night crew were the best!! Everything was clean and our stay was lovely. We enjoyed the room, the pool, and the restaurant, Coach’s. Even though the hotel was packed with two conventions nearby, a craft show, and two weddings, the staff was amazing and very attentive.

This hotel is clean and the rooms are great. I would have wanted more options for food and maybe vending machines on each floor would have been nice. The location is not great if you don't drive. However there is a McDonald's within walking distance and everyone is really hospitable.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It's conveniently located just a 20-minute walk from the beach or a quick 5-minute drive. The lobby is spacious and impeccably clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant check-in process. One thing that stood out to me was the thoughtful gesture of offering a complimentary bottle of water and a delicious cookie. It added a nice touch to my stay. Additionally, there is a water station after the front desk and before the elevator. One container has refreshing lemon water, while the other contains invigorating orange water. It was a refreshing treat that I appreciated.

The rooms were clean and spacious, providing ample space to relax and unwind. The service throughout my stay was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met promptly and with a smile.

Although breakfast is not included, there is a convenient restaurant on the main floor.
They offer a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, allowing guests to enjoy a satisfying meal without having to leave the premises.

Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel. The combination of its convenient location, welcoming lobby, friendly staff, refreshing water station, clean and spacious rooms, and excellent service made my stay memorable.

Had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff was beyond wonderful. I was very disappointed to see Jellybean here she was very rude to me when she worked at Hampton Inn North. If I have to deal with her it will make me not want to come back.

This hotel was comfy, quiet, and well maintained! I was a little skeptical because of the reviews but I felt it was a great hotel for its value and location. I enjoyed that it was away from the business/crowds of the oceanfront hotels and restaurants and close to the highway. The person who checked us in was very pleasant(Charlie) and gave us our free warm cookies which were amazing!! I definitely would go back.
