This place has the absolute best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. I don't live in the area and it has become the standard to which I now compare all breakfast sandwiches. The bread rosemary thyme bread was perfectly toasted, the eggs (over medium) were perfectly cooked, the avocado was spread so that every bite included some and chunks wouldn't be falling out the sides. The included orange slice is something I normally would push aside but the thin orange skin was already removed so the orange sections came off easily and didn't have any of the rind taste. I would come back to VA Beach just to stop here for breakfast.

Had a very relaxing time at American Brew today, reading and enjoying first, a delicious espresso martini and a lemon poppyseed muffin, after this I had a simple syrup small iced latte, the espresso was very smooth. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing! I’ll definitely be coming here again in the future.

Staff was amazing! Love the atmosphere! Didn’t get to meet Ashley (owner) like I’d hoped, but definitely a great place to check out!

This place surprised me. I thought it was a coffee shop with a few snacks or breakfast sandwiches. They have a surprisingly large menu and each thing we ordered was amazing quality and tasted delicious. Their special sauces on their breakfast bowls stand out and packed with flavor. Great staff, great vibes. They had some live music on a Saturday morning. This place can get busy.

Beautiful coffee shop for studying or just people watching. Good prices for high quality coffee. The staff was so friendly even during the Sunday breakfast rush. I also just love that this is women owned. Go here!!!

This was such a cool place to get breakfast at! There was live music, service was really good and friendly, food came out fast, and just the overall environment was very comfortable and homely.

What a well executed place! Coffee, snacks and a massive whiskey selection?? Pro tip order an almond latte with a splash of caramel and get a screwball (peanut butter infused whiskey) shot and mix that all together. Interior is very chill great place to post up and get some work done.

This place is an EXCEPTIONAL experience! It is a hobby of mine to explore new coffee shops. I have many favorites, but this definitely just set the bar a little higher! The entire vibe of the place is awesome! The young lady who helped me, I wish I got her name, long, dark hair, very sweet and outstanding customer service! She immediately welcomed me and asked if I had ever been before, she then walked me through the menu setup and offerings, and I asked for some recommendations of her favorites. I chose a Cinnamon & Honey Latte and breakfast burrito and thoroughly enjoyed both! I would dare say it was The Best Latte I've ever had. I was literally sad when my cup was empty, lol. Go check out this gem, you will want to return again and again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience on my first visit to Virginia Beach!

Great, cozy atmosphere and location, solid coffee, and delicious bites. I am definitely planning on coming back for the whiskey selection and brunch menu items.

Came here on Tuesday with my boyfriend for some coffee and we're delighted at the chill atmosphere and the sweet barista :) the coffee was good and I was quite happy that the cappuccino was bigger than the usual cup and I enjoyed seeing some people even came to study, I think that speaks volumes about a cafés atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place for a coffee date or a study session:)

Liz and the rest of the team are always friendly, welcoming, and professional even when things are busy. If you're looking for a pre-beach bite, morning pick me up, or place to enjoy some brunch, stop on by!

Coffee and whiskey. What's not to like!?! I was here on a Friday morning for a meeting. So no whiskey this time. I had a latte, that was crafted with care. It looked like a pineapple design in the foam. Pretty neat. The barista, was so friendly. She introduced herself to me and checked on us several times. I ended up getting a coffee once my latte was done and it was just as good. Actually have another meeting there tomorrow so let's see what they do with the foam art. I have heard that the food is very good but haven't eaten there yet. Going to try it for brunch one of these Sunday mornings.

Excellent breakfast menu, a lovely selection of whiskeys, coffee, muffins, tea, and outstanding service. There's seating outdoors, parking is limited so be careful parking in the numbered spots unless you pay at the park and pay station.

Talk about flavorful coffe...American Brew provides an eclectic atmosphere with strong fresh brew. They also have some delicious cocktail options for a little day drinking if that's what you are up for. And the green velour couch!

Awesome places to relax and order food, coffee, liquor, liquor in coffee, etc. Easy atmosphere and live music occasionally. Can't say enough good things about it.

The açaí bowl was great, and they even had live music playing in the morning! The atmosphere was very nice as well.
