Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Great food and absolutely fantastic service. We joined another hockey team for a joint team dinner and the staff provided the side room for us all to dine in. It was perfect.

Our group was about 50, and the staff did a great job taking orders and getting food out quickly.

It was an absolute joy and Jose should be proud of his great staff!

Absolutely great place, the food is so, so good and the amount you get for the price is great. The white sauce that comes with the chips & salsa is my absolute favorite, so unique and delicious! Quick service, professional staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. The margaritas are fantastic too! Always bring visitors from out of town here.

I visited this place back in June of 2016. Mexican inspired dishes and flavors always have been my favorite and with my plant based lifestyle now in 2023 I still find ways to incorporate it in my dining experiences.

This restaurant is worth the flight or road trip to try it. The customer service is profound. You truly feel like family here. The food is that delicious that I am still thinking about until this day. I am planning to take a road trip just to visit this restaurant again this year.

This place is great! The food was delicious. I had the tamale lunch which had shredded chicken inside and a flavorful beef sauce over it. They have an amazing dipping sauce for the chips unlike anything I have had. The atmosphere was awesome with handpainted murals everywhere and pictures of customers displayed on the walls and even the ceiling! I definitely recommend it.

Our 1st time Ever at any José Restaurant. And we are super impressed. There was, a wonderful young man ..that came to visit us at our table. And made our Night very fun and enjoyable. The food is outstanding!! And we even got Togo Food as well. So yummy!! Service and workers are spectacular!! Thanks for the wonderful dining experience. You guys Rock!!!!

The service was excellent, Very friendly and attentive, they even made a special dish for me since I am a cheese lover and am unfamiliar with many Mexican foods. Very helpful, fun, and creative, very big portions and well worth the money, drive and experience! They made a nice virgin margarita for our girl, and we shared a pitcher of a fantastic tasting strawberry margarita. Their complimentary chips and variety of salsas are amazing as well. you wont be disappointed!

The food is authentic and delicious. They start by bringing fresh made tortilla chips with salsa, yum! We ordered chicken nachos, garlic shrimp with vegetables, steak tacos and green chile flautas.

Had to wait a few minutes extra while the other 9 people were eating because our food was accidently given to another table and my husband's food had to be reheated but my did was very good!

Always a fun and friendly place to grab a drink and meal. Server's are great and helpful. Good place to bring children for dinner. Colorful decor. Complimentary chips.l with sauces. Food is amazing and quick. Big portions for cheaper prices. I've never left here feeling disappointed or dissatisfied with my visit. Keep up the great work. The Burritos Rancheros were delicious.

We could have ordered fajitas for one with the amount of food we received! We ordered the fajitas for two and took home enough for a meal the next day. Everything was tasty as usual. We have been to the Baraboo and Delss/Delton locations and they are both worth dining at.

I just got back home after visiting this restaurant. The food was amazingly indescribable, and the portion size was pretty big; we couldn't eat anymore. I will visit here again!

Pollo San Jose is amazing, plus margaritas cheese dip & chips fabulous!
Top that off with just the right amount of attention from our server, and we had a great dinner out!

Love this place! Jose's is my go to chill and relax place. The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the food is amazing. They have the best margarita and fajitas! The nachos and the dips are yummm! Sometimes there is a wait but it's worth it .

Great place to stop after a long and exhausting day at Devils lake. Food is delicious and I’m in love with the restaurant. Such a vibe. Btw you need to get a giant margarita.

This was the original Jose's. It continues to be well staffed and has high quality food. Prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive. If you are looking for Mexican food, you will not be disappointed.

LOVE Jose's!!! They have this delicious dip they serve with their salsa and chips!! YUM!! Their burritos are great too! There's nothing we don't like about Jose's (only that they aren't closer to our house!)

Enchilada del Mar was great!
Not sure what happened to fried ice cream but it was disappointing.
The restaurant had a chilly breeze coming thru - one member of our party was cold.
