El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Traveling through this area and stopped for dinner with my family. We eat Mexican a lot and this restaurant is by far one of the better ones out there! Amazing flavor, large portions and beautifully plated! I got the quesadilla fajita with chicken; the meat was tender and the veggies tender-crisp! The rice and beans were also top-notch! So delish! Will definitely be stopping here again in the future.

A great place for delicious Mexican cuisine! I love this place! The staff is unbelievably friendly & attentive. Big booths, tables, bar top & outside seating. The menu has a wide variety of Mexican dishes and sides. You always receive a complimentary basket of chips & salsa. The food is simple delicious, I’ve never had a complaint. They have a big parking lot so no issues there. This is your go to for a good Mexican meal.

Absolutely a fantastic place to eat, I came in today with a longtime friend I haven’t seen in a while and we placed our orders. When my order came out, the nachos I was not expecting just sort of plain nachos and she explained to me I ordered the wrong version,that I needed to order the other version and I said oh that’s fine. Can we just upgrade this one and I’ll just get one of them and she said “no no no what would you like added to this one, we can just add it for you!!” I was like wow that’s great and I told her,, at that time my friend noticed she had onions on her taco, and she thought maybe she told her no onions, but again she was like “no problem at all will bring them right over for you” and within a few minutes, the orders were fixed. The food was fantastic … My friend even felt a little bad that she might have upset the server because she didn’t see her any more, and she asked one of the other servers if that was the case and she said no, she was just on break, when she came back from break, she stopped by to say hi making my friend happy. The food was fantastic. It was so good my friend ordered the same exact order minus the onions to take home and definitely is looking forward to the next visit. That is how much she enjoyed this restaurant as that I the atmosphere is fantastic. The food is wonderful and I have to admit I was eyeballing those adult beverages a lot and I think the next time I may have to try one of them because they look really great. This is definitely a gem if you’ve never been to this place restaurant, please give them a try. They are a fantastic ,

Do yourself a favor and eat here. 🙂 It was one of our absolute favorite Mexican meals ever! So much food, and so full of amazing flavor. 👌 I am SO sad that I was just passing thru this area and live too far away to come here all the time.

Amazing food amazing service and the drinks are always so well prepared

Very nice place and great service except the manager kept calling my girl "lady", sure lady, ok lady, you like that lady...pretty disrespectful in our eyes. Had one other issue, and that was the sour cream was bad. They fixed the order and made everything right! The nachos and salsa are a great start. Drinks are cold and our food was delicious. Definitely will return, just may be our new spot!!

Delicious lunch! Salsa was a little bit of spicy, a lot of fresh. Refried beans hit the spot. The steak burrito was pleasing. And, my server was quick to take care of everything, too! Easily able to get in and out on a lunch hour. Stopped in for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. Seated quickly upon arrival, the patio is open, food was hot, server was smiling and attentive. By the time we left, the place was hopping, with a substantial wait. Dinner was fantastic!

Sabroso! Delicious and great service. Everything was fresh and the margaritas were DELICIOUS!! The chips and salsa were also very fresh. I had the chicken chimichangas and they were excellent! Regresaré pronto! I will be back soon!

They never miss. Grilled shrimp is phenomenal and their rice is top tier. I live in the Akron area now but I will continue to make the drive just for their food. So so so good!

This was my 2nd time having dinner here. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The service was good and they were very attentive. All of our good was hot and it was exactly what we ordered. Everything was fresh and we all enjoyed ourselves.

I will be back.

I have family that lives close to the restaurant. So I have been there about 6 times and every time I have been there the food is good and the service is good. The prices are reasonable especially if you have a larger party. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Best Mexican restaurant and food in the area, that I have tried so far. The fresh guacamole was delicious. The food portions were good and the taste was on point. Major plus for me is that they had cotija cheeses.

Love the atmosphere. Went at a busy time which is oddly not as busy as you'd think.
Peach Margarita is amazeballs. Chips are thick- very nice!
The burrito amigo had stringy gristle but otherwise was bomb.
Vegetarian fajitas were bangin. THANK YOU for not putting carrots in there 🙂

Great place. Very deliciously prepared fresh meats. Loved the chips and salsa. Service was good as well.

Very pleasant environment, nice seating layout and very friendly staff most of all excellent food very tasteful

I stopped by El Tapatio and had a really great meal. I got the fit tacos and they were very flavorful and portions were big. Definitely worth the stop!

I was traveling cross country on rt. 80 and stopped in. I ordered steak fajitas to go. I asked for no jalapenos or salsa, no heat. My food was amazing! All of the flavors and none of the heat ( don't judge me). The dish was beautifully presented , even for take out! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cool !! I can highly recommend this place !

I had an absolute great time there for my brothers birthday, staff was attentive, food was good as usual, And my brother enjoyed himself.
