A very lovely park to hike!! Peaceful. There are some up and down hills. All natural terrain. Little streams to cross.

Great challenging trails. Complete with hills, waterways, mud and grass. Be prepared with waterproof shoes / boots as not all streams have above crossing.

Beautiful park with several rivers. Unpaved trails. Be warned however; the inclines are steep and there are plenty of them! It’s a two-ish mile hike, but it will be a challenge! Some people had dogs and kids, but it’s not wheelchair friendly.

Great park with two major trails. Total, just under 5 miles. Both trails take you through the forest, enjoy hiking over streams crossings, bridges and stairs. The hills can get muddy and bring bug spray 🦟 Restroom on sight

Fantastic Metro Park for a great family outing.
Hampton Hills has two hiking trails. Both involve allot of hills to climb! So be prepared. Most of the trails are in the woods. But there are a couple of meadows along the Adams Run trail to enjoy.
The park also includes a small picnic area and an archery range nearby.
We choose the Adams Run trail. It is a little over three miles. But it is one of my favorite trails in the Summit Metro Parks. Plenty of switch backs, water crossings and bridges. Quite allot to see along the way. I especially like it after some rain as there is allot of water in the ravines.

Honestly a beautiful trail year round. In the warmer months you'll want to bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are rough here. After it rains the streams get very full and can be impassable if you're not willing to get your shoes/boots soaked (I recommend hiking boots for dry and wet because of uneven ground i.e. roots and indentations in the mud). There are also a few hills here that are quite steep so that is something to keep in mind. If these things aren't a problem at all for you then you will absolutely LOVE this trail.

Awesome trails! We saw a snake, frogs, baby squirrels, and a lot of birds. The creek is part of trail so be prepared to cross it a few times. Don’t worry there are rocks and other little bridges to get you through.

This place has great trails and is absolutely gorgeous! I truly enjoyed my hike here and spent about 3 hours exploring its beauty! I do plan to return to explore the rest of what this park has to offer!

Seriously beautiful! But don't go after a rain, it's incredibly muddy and wet. The 3 mile hike is intense and steep at times!

Very nice wooded trail with some hills. You'll have to do a few stream crossings and go through a muddy field if it's rained recently, so I'd recommend waterproof shoes. Options for 1.8 and 3.2 mile loops.

This place is absolutely fantastic for walking your dog. It has variable paths, but be ready for large hills. Very pet friendly place. I would recommend this place to anyone

Love this trail, but beware... It's probably thee hardest trail in the area. Lots of uneven up and down paths, and the flat parts are VERY muddy flanked on both sides by thorns. If you like a challenge with lots of elevation changes, river, plains, and forest this is for you!

One of my favorite local parks. Took me over an hour to hike the long trail, but it was totally worth it. There is a pine grove that was planted by the girlscouts in 1968, which is particularly cool to see.

Beautiful area to visit in the fall, with a good length trail for running or hiking.

Took the red leaf marker trail that is 1.9M with a 3 year old. The child had a blast but needed carried after 1 mile it's also around the point the trail became narrower and steep with steep hill sides. If you like ferns this trail has a plethora to look at. It was nice and shaded and not very busy at all. The wife enjoyed the erosion in the sense it looked cool not that erosion is a good thing.

Love this trail! It's got a nice elevation and the Adam Run trail crosses through the river a couple times which my kiddos love. Warning to other mommas, not stroller friendly. Use your carrier

Great trail if you prefer a more difficult walking/jogging experience while feeling like you're deep in the woods.

MTB rider here—first time on these trails. Really like the out and back singletrack. I especially liked the wildflower meadow which is not something widely seen on MTB trails in NE Ohio.

Beautiful park. Outstanding hiking. We LOVE it here. The trails are wonderful. Loved that the trail follows the stream, and that you have to walk across them - FUN! We hiked once on a day right after it rained, so it was a bit slippery in parts, but we made it through without any trouble. Very peaceful. The majority of the trail is shaded but you'll quickly work up a sweat as there are a number of very narrow & steep stairways if you choose to take the long way. However, it is highly recommended not to visit if it's raining because the trails are all mud and there is nothing to stop you from slipping off the edge.
