Parts Express

I have made several orders with Parts Express. It is nice that you can call first (if you have questions) and get good advice from the team there. I have had fast shipping and well packaged items arrive with no issues.

I recently ordered the little hybrid amp that they carry - Dayton Audio HTA20BT. I ordered some replacement tubes from another site and that little amp rocks the house! For the tube amp purist it is not a true tube amplifier. I understand that, however, it really works great. I have several other "Made in China" hybrid amps and the one from Parts Express is quickly becoming my favorite the more time I get on it.

I am using a nice TEAC CD player with a Bur-Brown DAC and that feeds through the amp to Klipsch Industrial La Scala speakers. Sounds amazing. The speakers are in the corners in the pictures.

I will buy from them again. I like to check their clearance section often also.

An extensive collection of speaker building supplies and tools, DJ equipment, car and home audio products, as well as cables and connectors. Personnel are helpful and knowledgeable. The website is really well laid out and informative, but sometimes you just need to see something in person before purchasing.

I was gifted a pair of speakers that my friend purchased from Parts Express. During a move, the grilles were broken on both speakers. I searched their site and wasn't able to find any individual parts - the speakers were a build kit. I sent an email to their customer service and was initially told they didn't sell individual parts from the kit. A few days later, however, I got an email from Cil, the Contact Center Manager, who let me know they had a pair of grilles that he would send me for free! A few days later, a box arrived with the two grilles carefully packed and in great shape. Having never been a customer, myself, this is excellent service! I've got Parts Express bookmarked now so that I can buy products in the future. Thank you, Cil!

Rawbasic Inc is a small business and I’ve been doing business with this company for a while there prices are very good, they carry a wide variety of pro and car audio electronics also tools and wire connectors. They also have a very knowledgeable tech and sales staff

I've been a customer since 2013, and I'm a retired EE and a Ham. Do repairs/mods to supplement my fixed income. I'm very disappointed because my Online Order finally arrived after six days, ONLY TO BE RETURNED to Parts Express. Made it to the morning of delivery, then UPS said there was an address problem prior to Out For Delivery. I'm a UPS Choice member and called them to fix the address. Apparently, their contract with PE has them return the package if any issues arise. UPS said PE could fix the Order so it would reach me.
I call PE only to be told that they won't take the time to contact UPS, and my Order will take at least a week to make it back, and then they will Refund my Order.
I'm surprised because on one of my orders they forgot to ship the Power Supply. They immediately sent me the missing item. Well, I'm redoing my Review based on the prior good service I've received. If you run a business, errors occur. Hope they fix their UPS Policy though...

Blaine was awesome! My 20+ year old Paradigm tower blew a tweeter and after taking Blaine's suggestion, installed a couple Peerless silk domes and wow, they sound incredible; very clear and smooth at higher listening volumes. They sound way better than before. This was a big win. Thanks Blaine!

The best service technical and customer. I have been buy from parts express since 1992. They always take care of a problem or issue. (Which is rare with me). Dayton Audio have some great products that no one else offfers. Dayton Audios diy line up are all ground breaking products. I would say the dats v3 is one of my favorites. Am looking forward to seeing new ground breaking products from them in the future. A customer for life. Jeff.

As a musician and audio/video technician I absolutely love this place. You can find any cable, adapter or part for anything audio or video online or in person at this store. Everything is priced very very reasonably and the quality is equal or better than the high dollar equivalents. The customer service is above and beyond. Every crew member here makes sure to take care of all of your needs.
They're is no other place I would rather go for my audio/video needs.

I usually mail order from Parts Express since I live in Philadelphia, but I was in the area so I decided to stop into their showroom. The last time I came to shop in person was when they were still tucked away in a corner at Mendelson's! At Springboro, they have a modest sized showroom with a huge warehouse and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I ended up getting some Dayton Audio speaker drivers for my latest project. I gave the part number to the guy at the counter and in a few minutes he was back from the warehouse with 4 new drivers. You can't beat that for great service!

Shipping is always lightning fast always as advertised. I had a problem with one amplifier that was no fault of theirs but they stood behind the product with fantastic customer service!! With an ever-shrinking number of places to get good electronics, Parts Express is a welcome find. I've never been to their retail location since I'm not in Ohio, but I've ordered from them online several times. Delivery is always quick and everything I've gotten from them has been good quality.

Started with the Ultimax 15 subwoofer + flatpack cabinet combo and had fun building it, and it enriches my movies and games in the living room every day. Super happy with it.

After that I've gotten a few flared ports for other subwoofer build projects and they've been easy to assemble, size, and install and man do they make a difference in the boxes I've built.

The one time I had to contact customer service about an order they were really friendly and helpful, which I appreciate, and answered all my questions. They'll also help you make decisions about gear if you have questions and give you recommendations. Whenever you can, make sure your order is over $50 and take advantage of free shipping!

Okay, to start off this review I want to say that if you aren't using parts express you need to be using it. Everything I've gotten from them has been quality! I ordered 5 speakers yesterday and got the cheapest shipping. My order is already sitting in front of me as we speak. Simply amazing. I can't voucher for their customer service because I haven't had to use it but that in itself should tell you something! I will continue to use parts express for all audio needs. On top of all this the prices are amazing. Good job guys and thanks for the speedy delivery!

I just wanna quickly say what a fantastic company. Every individual I either spoke to or emailed was incredibly helpful and super responsive and very patient as I made my decision on which of their products to buy. I purchased two items the dayton audio IOSUB P166 indoor outdoor sub 150W and the dayton audio SA230 230w subwoofer amp. The set up was a piece of cake things to their health in my outdoor patio system has never sounded better. It is made all the difference in the world by adding some additional bass but not an obnoxious amount of bass. I really appreciate this company and hope they continue to do well. You will not be disappointed working with them!

So I decided to click on the reviews of Parts Express to see what others had to say..... wasn't I surprised to see several unhappy reviews! It is so typical that people only review when they have a problem so I thought I should review them. I don't even know how long I have been a customer..... maybe 10 years? I have ordered everything from wires to speakers - and in all those years I have never had a problem. The descriptions they provide are always spot on - the shipping is VERY fast and most importantly, well packed. This is truly a 5 star company to deal with. Thank you Parts Express for being the very best at what you do!

I probably haven't purchased from Parts Express in 12+ years and this in it self is a testament to the quality of their support and products as I sit here enjoying the beautiful and monumental sound that comes out of the setup they help me rebuild when I was in college out of boxes I found in the trash. They did this while also suggesting the cheaper speakers since they were a better fit for my setup even tho I would have bought the more expensive options.

To one of your loyalist customers who you may never see again because you did such a fantastic job helping me when I had no idea what I was doing. This system is still kicking 12+ years later!

I’ve ordered random items from them for years. I just left their catalog showroom for the first time and could not be any more pleased with the service Bob provided. They always have a HUGE selection to order from and carry things you cannot find in stock anymore. Better prices than almost anywhere and more knowledgeable than what you would find if Radio Shack was still in business.

Aside from having the best price on my items and free fast shipping ta boot, their customer service is impeccable. I ordered a 12" driver and panel amp, which shipped together, but when I opened the speaker box the rim was bent. There was a small hole in the manufacturers box where something must have jammed through and bent the rim. After a quick call to customer service and snapping some pics for verification, they had a new one sent out the next day and it was in my hands 2 days later. A final note to their concern for customer satisfaction; the packing list had a painfully bright sticker on it and bold letters informing the picker that this was a replacement for a damaged shipment so make sure everything is perfect. I will definitely be shopping with them again.
