Oakwood Florist

After my flower order to Oakwood Florist was hijacked by a florist in California and then canceled just one day before the funeral of my favorite Aunt- Oakwood Florist called me and was able to put together a beautiful bouquet and delivered them in time for my Aunt’s funeral! My advice to anyone who needs to have flowers arranged and delivered within a specific time - call Oakwood Florist in Oakwood, Ohio. (Dayton, Ohio) DIRECTLY!

I buy flowers here every week. Shelia, Nina, Mimi, and Rae are wonderful! Quality is outstanding. When I moved to town I tried out numerous florists and quickly chose them because they were the friendliest and let me know they valued my business.

Delivery was on schedule and even called to let me know they had been delivered! Easy to order and the flowers turned out beautifully!

Oakwood Florist is such a wonderful addition to our town. Their arrangements are beautiful and Mimi and Nina are so friendly, helpful and personable. I highly recommend them!

The best local florist in Dayton

Anyone who follows my reviews knows that I'm the first to post positive reviews and reluctant to post not so positive reviews. A little disappointed in the flowers that were sent to my sister-in-law after her operation. What was sent was fresh and the flowers were delivered as promised. I also received an email letting me know they were delivered. I only gave this review two stars but you can decide if I'm being to harsh. The pic of the flowers I ordered are in the violet vase What was sent in the clear vase.

Attempted to help but was very rude. When I told her I actually didn't need her help after all to find a receipt for an order that was placed I received a scoff and a slamming of the telephone. I guess she was too busy for a proper goodbye. Co-worker of mine was treated even worse than I was, described her as very snappy and rude. I don't know how this place stays in business treating paying customers as an annoyance. I'll go out of my way to not give this place anymore money since they act they want it anyway.

Accidentally ordered through a vendor that utilized Oakwood florist. What was received was not even up to par with the "basic" version of the bouquet that was available and I ordered the premium. I checked with the vendor and they did share the correct order information but the florist didn't build what was expected. Based on the reviews it seems to be a trend with this florist.

I called to make my order. I said I wanted a red and white bouquet. I ordered Carnations and Roses. I was asked if I liked red tiger lilies. I told them no. I was asked if I wanted a vase, I told them no and that we already had plenty of vases at home. I explained I wanted the money to go to just flowers. When I arrived to get the flowers, the arrangement was in a vase with mostly white with varieties of daisies, lilies and some type of long spindly flower. They also had several of the red tiger lilies that I said I didn't want. Very few carnation and roses. This was for our anniversary. Very disappointed!

I would NEVER use this florist again. Lady was rude, didn’t care that the flowers sent were not satisfactory. Worst florist I have ever dealt with. There are plenty of wonderful florists in the area that would appreciate my business.

Absolutely the worst delivery service ever! Two orders placed. First one barely delivered at the end of the day....The second delivery was for my wife's birthday. I called several times to ask for the status of the delivery. The last time I called the salesperson said 20 minutes. Never delivered. I called later and an answering service responded. Never received the order. If you have a special order of flowers get them at Krogers. At least you will get them in time. They should not have a shop in Oakwood!

Went in there and the lady was super rude maybe because i came in after work (i work construction), and maybe she judged my looks but she was rude. Didnt have much to choose from. Definitely would not ever spend my money here if it was the last florist around.

Horrible. I paid $70 to have flowers delivered to a business. No one bothered to check the business hours to make sure they were open before attempting the delivery, so I had to take time off work and drive 30 minutes to the florist and make the delivery myself. Never again.
