Cafe Mediterranean

I’ve been to Cafe Mediterranean many times and it truly never disappoints. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is great. I’ve only eaten inside once because the little outdoor patio is so lovely. It’s a great place for fresh and healthy Mediterranean food. I came on my birthday and the owner gave me a complimentary dessert. The Iskender Kebab will forever be my favorite dish.

Had an Amazing dinner with my family at Cafe Med. Lamb Shanks and the Branzino fish special were our selections, photos attached. Incredible flavor and tender. We also had dirty martinis, rosé, and pilsners. Pistachio Baklava for dessert. Kids loved the hummus, cheese pizza, and fries. Service was top notch, accommodative of our 4 year old. Thanks much, looking forward to coming back soon.

Inspired. Everything was done as well as it could be. The lamb shank melted off the bone but so flavorful. Normally, I don’t let people who order cabbage rolls sit at the same table as me but they made it so tasty and uncabbagy. The gyro was homemade, service was on point, and what else can I say. And the music and decor was a perfect blend of Greek and Turkish. This place and Sultans are two spots that illuminate the Mediterranean scene in Cincinnati. Avail yourself of them.

One of my family's favorite restaurants, but last night was even more exceptional! The cold appetizer platter is a must, but now it is served with the most beautiful hot bread-- we had to order a second one is was so delicious. Also we enjoyed the swordfish kabobs for the first time - wonderful. The owner remembers everyone's favorite drink - he truly loves what he does and his staff echos his commitment to excellence!

I was there on 17 May, 2024 and simply loved my experience . The decor and atmosphere was pleasant and the service was attentive and extremely courteous . Tried the humus small plate and the eggplant . Both came with some delicious bread. My main entree was the traditional cabbage roll . For desert, the owner suggested the baklava with ice cream and with a cup of tea was just delightful. I can't say enough about the experience .Simply a wonderful dining experience .

We absolutely love this restaurant and especially the owner who treats us as family. We literally crave this food and have quickly become a “regular”. The food is to die for. We recommend trying everything on the menu as it is each unique yet healthy and delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We come here at least once a week. I highly recommend Café Mediterranean to everyone!!

If you haven’t tried Cafe Mediterranean Hyde Park, you’re missing on some amazing food and great service.Our biggest critic (our 7 year old girl) loved the food too.We went there for our 15 years anniversary and I wanted to try more the one kinda grill meat.The chef put together a very tasty family size girl mix which was not on the menu. Thank you chef!! Was delicious 🤤Appetizers didn’t disappoint either.
I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back soon. Don’t forget to try some of the best baklava and super good complimentary tea.

First time dining here, but won't be the last. The food was absolutely amazing! The service was fantastic as well! The baklava was the BEST I've ever had! Will definitely be back!

Excellent Turkish food, great service with smile! My son and I enjoyed our lunch and just hang out. We recommend this restaurant to anyone is looking for great food.

I have see. Few reviews with low rating, one was for the Turkish coffee and the price. The person made the comment didn’t understand Turkish coffee doesn’t come in large cup; it is very strong and always comes in small cups.

I had been wanting to come here for so long and it definitely did not disappoint. Everything from the drinks, food, to the incredibly welcoming staff was amazing. Highly recommend.

Excellent place! I wish I knew about it before! Lamb kebabs - fantastic, juicy like in Turkey. Extremely hospitable staff. Pistachio bakhlava - out of this world. Highly recommended!

What a nice surprise! Modern middle eastern decor with old fashioned attentive service. Food was excellent. Zucchini pancake was excellent, so was tabouli. Flan was very good combined with Turkish coffee. Mmm. Will return soon.

Wow. A truly delicious restaurant. The owner and staff are very friendly and provide great service. One of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time.

First time here but will definitely be back! I especially liked the Tabouli and the Labne appetizers. For dinner my friends had chicken shish kabob and beef tenderloin shish kabobs. They both commented on how tender and tasty the meat was. I had Moussaka which was very good also. Then the waiter brought us hot Turkish tea. Loved it! The service was also excellent. I definitely will be going back.

We enjoyed the whole dining experience from the warm welcome to the fresh food! We had the calimari, the Greek salad (loved that dressing) and the tender chicken thighs.

Parking is not easy but the food is worth effort!

We have been here for dinner multiple times. The food is always good, we had hummus and the chicken kebabs and some wine. The service from everyone is polite, attentive, and fast. The staff is so great. I think you will have the same experience as us... I highly recommend this place.

The BEST Greek and Turkish food in greater Cincinnati. This restaurant features authentic cuisine that the Turkish owner has lovingly shared.

Their tabouleh and dolma (stuffed grape leaves) are *chefs kiss.* The bread was fresh out of the oven steaming.

Finish off with Baklava prepared in a homemade style and Turkish coffee. Finally, enjoy the wooden chests they present the bill in. Could not be more happier to have a place like this in Cincinnati.

Dined in with my partner, we are sitting in the parking lot right now writing this review. Initially we were going to go to a chain and decided to eat local and wow are we glad we did. Our host was so friendly, asking us where we were from and suggesting dishes (but in a friendly way! Not pushy at all)
We got complimentary hummus sent to the table, ate our dinners, then got complimentary tea when we ordered the Pistachio Baklava
Overall we cant speak high enough of the food and the service. We are full and happy and will return
My only critic is the music didn't seem to fit the setting, but once folks were filtering in and chatting it was not as noticeable

Thank you to the lovely owner, Fahri, and his gracious staff. My boyfriend and I went here for our Valentine’s Day dinner. It was his second time going, and he wanted me to experience the incredible service he remembered so well from his first time. It was a beautiful restaurant, mindfully designed, lit, and the booths and tables created a feel of privacy. Our appetizer was the acili ezme(salad), followed by our three entrees we ordered — the salmon, lamb shank, and lamb kebab. We had multiple of the the featured cocktail — The V&V(vermouth and vodka - so refreshing), and had their delicious variation of flan for dessert. The dessert was cut in a heart-shape! Fahri served us a complimentary Turkish hot tea, followed by complimentary champagne! We felt wonderful, and it created a perfect dessert experience. Finally, on top of everything else, my attentive server gave me a rose! 🌹 I truly felt like a princess in that moment — it was honestly like a fairytale. It was one of the best nights - with some of the best food - I have had in awhile, and I will never forget it. Thank you all for creating such an inviting space filled with love! Warm wishes, and we will be back for more of that delicious lamb soon.

What a restful, pleasant dining experience. Fantastic dishes with Turkish flair. Quiet and cool atmosphere, gracious host and servers who provided excellent advice, and allowed us a leisurely pace on a weekday afternoon. This is how dining should be. Loved the babaganoush, zucchini pancakes, the perfectly-roasted chicken thighs. Try the Kavaklidere Cankaya white wine - similar to chardonnay w/o the oak.
