The Eldritch Bastion

Owners and staff are very down to earth and enjoyable to talk to and have a casual conversation. Never did I feel like I was just another customer but rather a friend even if it was my first time being there. Played in a MTG tournament and everyone was super chill and relaxed, no one made me feel belittled or looked down on compared to some other previous LGS I've played at. I'll likely consider this my new home LGS moving forward.

Super Friendly, Willing to teach newer players the ropes and has a very relaxed atmosphere.

The regular clientele are awesome and you can almost always find a casual game, sometimes you can even borrow a deck if you are new to the format.

They hold regular events weekly and everyone is usually pretty excited to talk and give pointers and tips for any game and format or game you could ask about. I don't think I've had a question go unanswered here.

As for more technical things, I've had no issues buying or selling cards and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful with the process.

Things of note:
Commander is the most popular format here.
Thursdays are a prime day to come in if you'd like to play casually and learn commander. Friday nights typically have more competitive tournaments going on.
The bastion holds monthly draft leagues with prizes.

Store owner, Jordan, is one of the nicest guys I’ve met. He worked with us to find a place on the schedule for our Pokémon League and is helpful when it comes to referring cards to us. His prices are affordable too as he goes based on TCGplayer, unlike other stores that try to over price cards - a reason I’ve stopped supporting a lot of them.

This place has a generous amount of space available for play. It felt really good to be able to hear the cacophony of sounds only made possible by gathering together again for the first time in a long time. The staff are all pretty cool and very helpful to their customers. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Owner Jordan is very friendly and personable. Staff is good, always events going on. Prices are fair. In store election is limited but the store is willing to order cards for you, which is nice.

Great service and there are people that are always willing to help learn how to play Magic the Gathering.
