Marine Village Resort

Great location near lots of walkable restaurants and very good value for the area. Rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. Friendly staff and a comfortable high quality bed and sheets. I would stay here again! Parking is also free which is nice as it can be hard to find parking in lake George Village

I couldn’t be more happy with my stays at marine village. From the front desk staff to grounds to housekeeping they have always been very welcoming and professional. The location is the best for direct lake access and you don’t have to take flights of stairs just to reach the beach(depending where your room is located). I kayak regularly on lake George so I’ve needed beach access and I have stayed at multiple lakefront properties and I found marine village to be the best for the location, price and direct beach access. They have so much to offer and I regret not staying there years ago. 100% better then Surfside especially with customer service and hospitality and the other reviews prove that.

Marine Village Resort in Lake George exceeded all my expectations! The waterfront location provided stunning views, and the amenities were top-notch. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and beach access added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay!

We stayed at Marine Village Resort the weekend of June 7-9th, 2024, because we were going to Saratoga for the Belmont Stakes on Saturday. This was my second time in Lake George, my first time was 2 yrs ago, we stayed at the Marriott. We went online not knowing anything about the MVR and decided to make a reservation there. When we arrived and drove down to our room, I was so happy it was right near the lake where the playground and fire pit area is. It was early in the season and quiet when we first got there. I walked over to the docks and there were some ducks swimming in the lake by the beach, they came out of the water and walked right up to me, and early the next morning I opened the door and 8 of them were sitting right outside our room!! It was really cool!! The room was clean and very cozy!!! The bedding was so comfortable and those pillows were absolutely amazing!!! I need to call and find out what brand they are so I can purchase them for home!! Lol!! The bathroom shower with the glass doors was awesome and had soaps, shampoo, conditioner and body wash!!! There was a beautiful pool area and an area with bbq’s and tables!! Every morning when I woke up and before I went to sleep at night, I would go sit on that swing set looking at the lake and mountains…it felt peaceful…

It was awesome, the rooms are all so close to the pool and beach. The location is wonderful, so are the rooms. The staff were very kind and helpful, I definitely plan on coming back. If I could I would give it 10 stars!

The place is absolutely amazing. Very friendly service. Loved the manager. She totally did everything to make our stay most pleasant. And very clean too. We got the suite. The view was totally worth it

Recently stayed for just one night but loved it. The lake view, access to the beach, and room amenities (small fridge, etc.) were unbeatable for the price. Would recommend to others.

King bed lakeside view. 2 people, room size small, but all we needed, will definitely come back. Room was clean, great price. Had a very nice stay & met very nice people. Grounds/beach very well kept.

Came back June 2024, great time., 16 of us. Will make this a yearly trip, thank you Marine Village for another great stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Great accommodations, friendly staff.. the grounds were very clean. Had a fire pit at night for 6 dollar wood purchase they even helped start the fire..I will definitely return. Perfect location on the lake..

Marine Village Resort was amazing . The views were amazing. You can see the water from almost every room. They had so many thing to do, a heated pool, paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards. You do have to rent them, but it is very nice having it right there on the property. they have a very nice play gym for the kids' along with shuffle board,cornhole Two fire pits for those summer nights, they have a lot of grills on the grounds so if you dont want to eat out you can cook there . There is a price right down the road . Also, a small refrigerator and microwave in rooms . There is a beach area for the kids with plenty of chairs to relax and watch the boats pass . The Marine has one of the best locations, so it is easy to get to everything .I definitely recommend that if you go to Lake George, check them out .

Incredible view. Great kayaking. Clean. They did a very nice family activity each day. My favorite was the taco and Italian night. Perfect location. I love that they are also big on safety. No visitors. Thank you Marine village.

We loved it and will be back! Great location, lots of amenities, our room was very clean when we arrived and fully stocked. We spent most of our time at their beach/pool which were both very clean. Checking in and out was easy and pleasant. We barely had to drive anywhere during our stay since it’s walking distance of all the restaurants and shops on the strip. When I saw any staff around outside they always were friendly saying hello and to have a great day.

I love it here! The staff and management are awesome! They’re so accommodating and helpful. Not many resorts care to accommodate their guests. Whenever I visit Lake George, this will always be the resort I book. The suites are beautiful and near the lake and pool. My daughters had a blast! Thank you!

Went for an Oct weekend with four couples and it was great. The rooms were clean, check in was easy and the location is perfect for walking any place in the village. They have fire pits on the beach that you can get wood from Stewart's or Price Chopper and have your own little fire. Also has a pool for summertime visits. The layout looks very nice.

Have stayed here many years in a row now. It is a fair resort. Rooms are clean and nice enough. A few rough edges may suck some fun from it, but the price and location more than make up for it. We bring the kids, you don't have to park in LG village you just walk in! Lake area great for kids. Pool was nice. They do some free events with food or ice cream witch is nice. Not a "Quiet".

Loved this hotel. Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary weekend. The property is lovely. Really nice pool. Private beach. Definitely want to come back here with the littles. Every room has a little table and chairs outside the room so you could sit and have coffee in the morning or sit out at night. There's also a propane BBQ in front of the room so you can BBQ if you like. The beach has a really nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs around it. Everyone there was really friendly. Guest included. The hotel itself had a camping vibe outside, if that makes sense. You could make smores, sit out and watch the stars, or just go for a walk. It was really nice. The location is perfect. We arrived Friday and didn't move our car until we left on Sunday. You are right on the main street. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was to walk in and out of the property there's a steep hill. Not horrible by any means but definitely not my favorite. If you have a family member in a wheelchair it might be a little work. But like I said, not horrible. The view from the hotel is gorgeous. You are right on the lake. It's beautiful. The room was really nice. Clean. I took pictures the day we left, so please ignore the towels on the floor lol 100% I would recommend. Especially if you have children. They even have family suites you can rent. There was so much for them there. Beach, playground, pool. You could even rent paddle boards and kayaks. There were a lot of families there. But it wasn't super noisy or anything like that. It was really nice. Decently priced. Will definitely be back :) I hope this review helps others. This hotel was great! Room was kind of small, but was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Has a private beach with different boat and kayak rentals, games, firepits, grills and a nice gazebo to get out of the sun. Right in the village, so it's an easy walk to everything. The staff were all friendly and had great recommendations for things to do around town. Would definitely stay here again! Just wish the check in time was a bit earlier and the check out time was a bit later.

This is our new location for visits to Lake George. All of the years I've gone, we went to the Surf Side. This place BLOWS away the Surf Side in terms of staff friendliness and the hard work they put in ALL day long. From the Moment we pulled up they were unreal. Rachel is by far the best Manager I've met. A true asset to this resort. The ENTIRE front staff were quick to respond to any questions and concerns. They have BBQ's and dinner events that were a truly great surprise addition to our visit. I can't say enough about this place. My only wish is I could turn back time to stay there all my previous stays in Lake George.
