We had an amazing stay! Such great value for what you get. The property has its own beach with a fire pit, grills, Adirondack chairs. It’s a perfect location with all of town walkable. The unit we were in had its own kitchen and two cute chairs on the front porch for us to sit out and drink coffee with a lake view. So relaxing. The staff went above and beyond. They were all so friendly and always making sure we were comfortable with our stay. Jared in particular did a great job. We will definitely be back!

Will definitely be coming back for my next trip to Lake George. Short distance walk to town, private beach, clean rooms, what else can you ask for? Jared and his team were amazing. Very attentive and helpful. Accommodated my check-in time, answered all my questions, and even provided us a lighter and paper late at night for a fire! It made all the difference during my stay. Perfect location. Rooms have kitchenette and very roomy with patio and chairs to have coffee in morning. Walkable to village. Property is very private with a great lawn leading down to a fire pit and private beach. Great place for family and children. Stunning views of the lake and mountains. The help are top shelf. The manager Jared is always available and goes above and beyond with customer service. This place is a gem.

Perfect spot to land on Lake George. Cabins are clean and well maintained - do your research or call and ask for best fit for your family they are all a little different. Staff is excellent, friendly + attentive. Private beach is great with chairs, loungers and gazebo and the view of the lake is spectacular. Kayak rentals were fun. Short walk to all the amenities downtown. Would stay again and great for large groups too all looking for stay on the same property!

This place is a hidden gem!! We came across Shore Meadows randomly on a Facebook post and took a chance, and we’ve been coming the last few summers with our friends and kids. It is CLEAN, frequent upgrades make for a very pleasant stay, you feel like you’re at a relatives property and not a motel. The yard is absolutely amazing with lake access, water activities available, and a great area to BBQ. Jared is so welcoming, we’ll never go elsewhere on lake George!

This was our second stay here and it was just as much enjoyable as our first stay.
It is conveniently located, clean and private, and well managed.

Once again I want to give a special shout-out to Jared who made both of the times we stayed here extremely enjoyable.

Loved staying here for two nights. We may not be the typical Lake George visitors (stopped in this town for convenience) but we appreciated the little details in our room - based on a log cabin/woodsy theme. Not "modern" but really comfortable. As hikers we also appreciated the great advice given to us by staff of some great local hikes that offered spectacular views of the lake and area. Also this place extends all the way to lake and has various water-based options available and a lovely screened gazebo. Easy walk to restaurants. Just felt more genuine than most of the stuff in this town.

First and definitely not last time to Lake George. We had a great time at Shore Meadows July 2024. We had cabins 10&11. Perfect for our families. Jared and his team were so helpful. We will definitely be back.

We would give this 10 stars if it was posible! The hotel is spotless inside and out! Jared and his crew were so helpful. It was our first time to Lake George, they gave us recommendations for all the hot spots and things to do. We definitely recommend coming here and we will be back

This is our second year back. We love staying here and Jared and his crew always making sure everything is good. We feel like family. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel has a super location. Jared and all of the staff were extremely attentive and helpful during our stay. The hotel is really well run.

Best place in the village! We felt like we were in the woods in the mountains with our cozy cabin and fire pit. The location can't be beat. It is close enough to walk to the stores and restaurants but far enough away from the noise of traffic and hoardes of people. Best beach setting as well as friendly, helpful staff. The pool was great too. I can't say enough good things about Shore Meadows! We will be back!

Okay lets say you're taking the time to look at these reviews because you want the best experience for your wife and kids to have a nice relaxing stay in Lake George. There's so many motels and lodges on the strip but NOTHING is comparable to Shore meadows. From the time we checked in-check out we were greeted with the nicest, most welcoming family ( Father, wife, two sons) they were so courteous and personable it was like staying at a family's resort, always checking in on us, bandaging our son up when he fell and scraped his knee then giving him some bday cake from their event. I almost didn't write a review. Because I don't want this place booked up all the time its truly a hidden gem & if you see a cabin open (cabin 12) is were we stayed right next to the pool BOOK IT. You will be soo happy with your choice. We had our boat at the dock and they was always someone their to lend a hand or just say what's up!

I grilled out on one of the most nicest BBQ setups I've seen in ages the thing even has a freaking stone pizza oven attached!

views for days! you have a little private beach and hammocks all around it - my daughter said it was perfect for IG photos? don't know much about that but It was a big deal to her.

Lake George is very special to our family and this place solidified the experience. I will never forget the experience and this family and how other big resorts should take advice from them, they truly know what hospitality is.

Another great year spent at Shore Meadows with the family for Adirondack Nationals. Mike, his family, and staff are attentive, personable and take care of literally everything you need. Clean rooms, friendly faces and a short walk into town. There’s a beautiful, private beach and options to rent kayaks/paddle boards. We’ll see you again next year! 😊

I have been staying here at Shore Meadows for 7yrs or so now. I absolutely love the beautiful view of the lake. The landscaping is top notch. Private beach ⛱ 😎
The owner Mike and his family are always around to help with any needs to make your vacation enjoyable. Lake George is a great family vacation and I highly recommend staying here at Shore Meadows. The while property is smoke free. Woohoo

First time staying at Shore Meadows. August of 22. From the first phone call Mike was so nice and helpful. When we arrived staff was friendly and accommodating.. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Short walk to a beautiful beach area. Had grills to cook our dinners and a fire pit close to our room and also at the beach that we enjoyed with late. night fires. Walking distance to the village too. Looking forward to going back. We have found our new happy place.

This was our first time at shore meadows. It was very nice. The rooms were great. Walking distance to the village which Is a big plus. There were also a couple of hammocks towards the beach area.A couple of things worth mentioning that I would take a half star off if there was an option. At the ping pong table there's mud on the ground where you stand which isn't appealing. Not to mention a safety hazard. There were no lights illuminating the property by the chairs and beach at night which was a surprise. All the other hotels have to make it more inviting and safe. We as customers like to utilize what you offer as much as possible. cute place though. Staff is very friendly. Place does it's job with great prices.

Such an amazing experience!! Everyone is so friendly and attentive! If you are looking for a great experience I absolutely recommend Shore Meadows!! The rooms are so clean and the amenities are great! Kayaking, Paddle Boarding and the beach! There isn’t one thing I could say that I dislike. Mike and his family and staff are wonderful!

Really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great for us to really enjoy too many lake activities but we will definitely be back! The only issue we had was a dirty towel was left in our room but not a dealbreaker, everything else was immaculately clean.
