Dr.Dave has been reliable, professional, caring, and compassionate. He has been taking care of my pup Mazie since the beginning of her life with me. The first time I met him my pup was only 8 weeks old. At my first visit he sat with her in his arms for awhile to get to know her. And answered all my questions. His staff is a reflection of him. Every time I call I get a warm response and they listen to my needs and are as caring as he is. Thank you all so much. I am so confident that Mazie is in your care.
I am so happy I found him and highly recommend him as a Veterinarian.

I am so thankful for doctor dave and his whole entire staff. Finding out my best friend had osteosarcoma was heart wrenching for me, almost paralyzing honestly. I had no clue where to turn or what the right choices were for my best friend who was in so much pain. Dr Dave leaped straight into action for coarse of treatment , while along the way comforting my family and I with his many success stories. My Tyson boy is high anxiety and a large dog. every time with out hesitation he gets the most snuggles during his appointments. Having a staff who knows how to treat a large animal comfortably has been hard to come by for me. My gratitude for this staff is beyond words. Because of them my boy is still here with me today and thats all that matters to me. These are amazing people with huge hearts, and i will never forget what they have done for my family and i ❤ THANK YOU Dr Dave, the vet tech’s, and the reception girls.

This vet saved my dogs life!
My dog suddenly fell ill and was rushed to a local ER for an emergency blood transfusion. To my horror, the ER presented me with a bill of over $12k (offering no payment plan) in order to, as they put it, "save my dogs life". After shelling out half the amount for half the treatment, due to lack of funds, I took my dog home in horrible shape and planned for her passing. Thankfully, my boyfriend was put in touch with Dr. Dave and he worked with us to get my dog back on the road to recovery. He truly saved her life. He worked within our budget and put my dogs well being first. He was in constant contact with me, day or night, during her most dire period. Today, thanks solely to his recommendations and treatment, she is well on her way to being fully recovered. I cannot thank him and his practice enough. These folks really care about animals, it's easy to see. Highly recommend!

So out of nowhere my golden went from running around the yard during the weekend to laying down totally lethargic and drooling by Monday night. Called Dr. Dave in a panic thinking the worst. Brought Buddy in first thing in the morning. Within 20 minutes Dr. Miracle Worker tells me that out of a possible 3 different Lyme diseases, Buddy has 2. Wow! I had no idea he could have this as we are up to date with all of his shots, etc. Dr. Dave sends us home with 2 different medications to give to my beloved dog, and by 9:00 that same night he was definitely on the road to recovery wanting to be played with. I can’t thank Dr. Dave enough…he truly is a life saver, and has called to check on my baby personally. I tell everyone to go there. They are always willing to go above and beyond. ❤

Dr. Dave is hands down the most caring and thoughtful veterinarian I have ever encountered. He has been caring for our Barkley (Bernese Mountain dog mix) for many years now. He has an amazing demeanor, so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and has an infectious personality as well. Dr. Dave invests time into his clients and ensures they have a solid understanding of the issues as hand. He consistently makes himself available to his clients and handles all situations with care and consideration. The day we rescued Barkley from Ruff House Rescue, I called Dr. Dave for advise and what "red flags" I should concern myself with. Dr. Dave actually said "I'm going to meet you at the rescue and we will do this together." Dr. Dave is a special human. They made "The Dave" mold and threw it away after he was created. I can’t say enough about the staff here, super super friendly and compassionate about you and your fur baby. Dr Dave saved the life of my 3 year old Cat after I was told to pay 10K for a blood transfusion at the ER hospital. 🐾❤

The absolute best there is. The entire staff is compassionate, friendly, kind and overall amazing. During an extremely difficult time, they were so supportive. I am truly grateful.

Dr. Aguirre is the best, most caring vet on Long Island, hands down. I first starting using him when he was with Coram Animal Clinic, and was so upset
when he left. After a string of bad replacement vets, that office closed and I was so happy when I heard he had his own practice! He was so kind and compassionate when my dog Ash was in his last days. You can tell that he doesn’t just care about the bottom line, he truly loves animals and wants to always do the right thing by his patients first and foremost. We adopted our new dog Hopper in February, and there’s no one else I would bring him to.

This vet fit me in today last minute on a booked Saturday, because even though my dog was having what I considered an emergency, my normal vet wouldn't fit us in. In a panic I called several offices around town & was just about to lose it when I remembered my parents saying good things about him, & I was immediately impressed by how caring & sympathetic the receptionist on the phone was. (In person she was even sweeter!) & the dr was great. Even though we may be on a bumpy road, I appreciate him being upfront & explaining exactly what the situation is. My dog is my baby.. I'm terrified of what's to come but so grateful I found this vet just in time.

We were getting ready to schedule my Bijon, Bogie, for ACL surgery when Dr. Aguirre tested him for Lyme Disease as a precaution. It turned out that he did have Lyme. The doctor said that if we treat the Lyme, it might improve his leg pain. Sometimes it is the Lyme causing pain in the dog's knee. There was a possibility that he would not need the surgery.

Four weeks of antibiotic therapy and Bogie is not limping anymore. He is happily running up the stairs, jumping on the couch and going for long walks.

Thank you Dr. Aguirre, for saving Bogie from a very invasive surgery, and saving us $5,000!

These little cuties were abandoned under the deck of a group home. We cleaned them up and called for an appointment. They actually had an opening the same day! Even the receptionist seemed surprised they had an opening the same days! As brought them in for their exam I was greeted with unexpected enthusiasm! The young ladles explained they were excited to see the kitties! After the exam the doctor came out to explain what he did.. He was very nice.. From start to finish the experience was so good I'm more than likely going to start bringing my pets there. Highly recommended!

What a great place! People who truly care. Dr.Dave and Marissa go above and beyond to help. The place is clean the staff is friendly and make you feel very comfortable. They also have a 3 legged cat they saved helping out too. I will refer them to everyone I know who loves their Pet. My dog Besty gives a 5 Biscuits rating.

I will try to be brief but I have alot to say. I rescued a 7 year old cat from someone who did not deserve to be a cat owner. The cat had a huge growth on the side of her neck. The owner said that he had someone look at it a few years ago and was told it was nothing. I wasn't going to take his word so I took Dutchess to meet Dr. Dave. Best thing I ever did. The office staff is so kind and compassionate that I felt immediately comfortable and trusting. Dr. Dave performed surgery because it was cancerous. Dr. Dave took all the time I needed to explain the situation and what to expect. Thank you all for all you do. I'm not sure if the old owner will want the cat back but I will never let her go. She is a beautiful loving and happy cat thanks to you and your wonderful staff. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Aguirre is the best veterinarian I have ever gone to. I’ve followed him from different offices because he’s so thorough and he cares so much. Other vets I’ve been to made it obvious they care more about profit over pets, but Dr. Dave is different. I was overjoyed when he opened his own office, and I’ll never bring my pets to anyone else. In addition to all that, his office staff has always been so kind, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this office to everyone I know!

Dr. Dave is such a compassionate and caring soul! He eases the burden of going to the vet for both you and your animal. His heart is in everything he does for your loved one and I am truly grateful I have crossed paths with him. I highly recommend his services!

Out of desperation 3 months ago I brought my rough collie in to see Dr. Dave after our previous veterinarian was unable to properly treat her allergies after a year and a half of trying. I also took her to a dermatologist who also tried to treat her and after $1500. her allergies were much worse. I called the office 2x and left 1 voice message within 3 weeks of the visit to say her allergies were not improving at all, I’m still waiting for a reply.
In December I brought Ginger in to see Dr. Dave for the first time I had sent her records in advance for him to review. He spent time explaining what should be done to improve her condition and why the previous treatment hadn’t worked. Her allergies are under control for the first time in ages, her skin condition is gone her coat looks wonderful. Dr.Dave and his staff have been very accommodating, both he and his staff explained the what, why and how each medication should be used. He also explained at length what to change to help with her allergies besides medication. I’m extremely thankful for the care that Dr. Dave has given Ginger, I only wish I found him a few years ago.

Dr Dave is an amazing vet who truly places the health of my dog above making money, takes an interactive role in my dogs daily well being, and is available both in person and by phone for questions at any time of the day. Combine this with the fact that Dr Dave is truly a nice and decent human being, and I would never bring my dog anywhere but to Dr Dave. This is a man who’s personal opinion as well as the actions and advice of his staff, I fully trust when it comes to all matters related to my dog, who is my best friend. Thanks Dr Dave for the service you have given us and for making the quality of Cheech’s life so much better.

After another Dr. attempted 2 surgeries on my dogs tumor which caused her wound to keep reopening & have chronic infections/bleeding/pain,
I decided to take her to Dr. Dave upon recommendations of so many others.
He was a bit of a drive for us but I must say, he is 100% worth it & I would continue to drive to his office again in a heartbeat for my other pets.
His staff always greeted us with kindness, gentleness & compassion.
Dr. Dave took the time to explain medically what’s happening to our furbaby , all of our options, and costs which I found to be extremely fair. I appreciated that he & the office would check in on us after our visits.
I attribute Dr. Dave to adding much more QUALITY time with our rescue senior dog.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr Aguire for years now. He and his staff are the best and are extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful. He treats my boys as if they were his own family and they love him. I highly recommend Dr. Aguire. He is the utmost professional, cares deeply for my dogs with great compassion. They’re first class from the moment you walk in the door: Dave has been treating our dog for the past 10 years and has always been professional and honest. Dr. Dave prides himself on providing affordable veterinary care while not sacrificing quality. Dr. Dave is BY FAR, the most kind and compassionate veterinarian I have ever come across. We do live quite a distance from VOTC, yet he always makes himself available to us to answer questions and provide guidance as needed.
