Beautiful property with a pool which is a huge plus. Immaculately and well taken care of rooms. Some rooms are dog friendly. The owner was amazing, you can tell they really love what they do.

We love it there! Will be back there again this summer for sure.

We have just returned from another wonderful vacation at O' Sullivans. We have been going there every summer and fall since 2021. We have a Medical Alert Service Dog and can take our Rosie to other resorts. However, we choose to stay at O 'Sullivans because it is pet friendly and our Rosie can "Sit back and be a dog"! The resort is super clean and well maintained by
Matt and Meghan and their wonderful staff. The only negatives I have to report are the small refridges in cottage 22 that require you to bend down and be creative in fitting items in, and that turn ice cream into ice soup lol. The only other negative is the docking of boats at the new dock that is now half the length of what is used to be. Especially the fishing charter boat that is always docked there. The boats are only feet away from the small swimming area and smell strongly of gas and oil that can be seen floating in the water. It is intimidating to go out on a floaty or swim amongst these boats and I am even hesitant in letting our dog in the beach water. I have heard similar concerns from other resort guests. Other than these concerns, O'Sullivans is a very family and pet friendly resort that we enjoy visiting twice a year!

We had a wonderful stay! Our cabin was spotless clean, we loved the pool and you even raked the beach sand. The other guests were kind and friendly. We already booked for next year. Fantastic location and overall relaxing, family oriented, dog friendly atmosphere. We appreciated the quiet laid back feeling of your motel. Dog pick up bags were located along the path. Easy walking access to Lake George Village. Easy access to the trolley if you don’t want to drive around town. Perfect for quiet families and dog lovers.
We stayed in a cabin that had outdoor picnic tables and BBQ grill you can use. The beds were comfortable, which was a great surprise as we usually stay in more rustic Adirondack locations.

I love this spot! We got a 2 bedroom cabin and it was just perfect. Clean, well appointed, comfortable, outside space to enjoy summer nights, grills for guest to use right outside their cabin. Great Location right in the heart of Lake George. It was nice to be able to imbibe on some wine and just walk back to the hotel.
Only complaint is the little kitchen area didn't come with anything. There's a sink, stove, micro, fridge, coffee maker, and toaster, but no cups, plates, cutlery, etc.

Been staying here for over a decade without any complaints. Hotel is on the north side of Lake George village on an expansive property that includes regular hotel rooms, cabins, beachfront houses, and pet friendly accommodation. The rooms are bright and spacious, most recently renovated, and designed well. The area is perfect for walking to restaurants or shopping without being too crowded or overwhelmed with people. The pool and beachfront are clean and welcoming. The activities and provided on-site convienences are super helpful (vending, laundry, ice machine, ping pong table, rental watercraft). The staff is kind, courteous, and accommodating without exception. Definitely recommend for gorgeous lake views, and an overall great time.

My family (including our dog!) stayed here last summer. Our first trip ever to Lake George and we were so grateful to have our dog with us! The rooms are basic and compare to other motels in the area, it was exactly what we were looking for and at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back. The location was great and walkable to everything we needed.

Had a dog with us, loved the lake front dog friendly room!!!!! Most other dog owners were very respectful of other dogs/owners. I know they are working on upgrading rooms, the only minor complaint was the bathroom definitely needs some attention, but being able to walk downtown, bring our dog, have a lake view and feel like we weren't downtown. Front staff was super helpful and friendly. Will be coming back again next year!

For me and my wife the biggest selling point was that the O'Sullivan's is pet friendly. We have a bigger dog and it is often difficult to travel with him. O'Sullivan's solved that problem and clearly it wasn't an issue for just us - just about every pet-friendly room and cabin had a fur-baby staying with their pet-parents.

O'Sullivan's is walking distance to the Lake George village including all the restaurants, bars, historical attractions, gift shops, arcades, ice cream shops, etc.

The pool is a nice way to cool off, but O'Sullivans also has a small private lake beach and docks. You can lay out and enjoy the gorgeous views or take a dip in one of the cleanest lakes in the country. There is live music by the pool on Thursdays.

We stayed at one of the lakeview cabins and the view did not disappoint. The cabins are pretty varied depending on your needs - you can get a single room or multiple rooms if you've got bigger needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but honestly, you shouldn't be going to Lake George to stay in your room. However, the cabins do have decks that allow you to sit outside, have a drink or two while enjoying the night sky, before finally retiring for the night.

Overall, highly recommended. If you don't have a fur baby, you may also consider Lake Crest Motel which is only a few doors down.

Great time at OSullivans. We come because they are pet friendly and have direct beach access. Rooms are small but clean. Pool is nice. BBQ areas and ping pong too. Good family place. Our room would be better if it had a sink in addition to the bathroom sink. Only one sink was tough for 4 people.

I stayed in the hotel building, the room was very clean, ice machine and washer are nearby, parking is convenient, bathroom is roomy and updated. The room is nicely appointed, so clean, looks freshly painted. The individual wall unit AC cooled the room well and made noise as most of these units do. Room was quiet, didn't hear much road or neighbor noise. My king bed room included a dresser, desk and chair, 2 nightstands and king bed, comfortable outdoor chairs on the front entrance way. Managers are VERY friendly and attentive, have a great late arrival policy. Easy online reservations, steps away from downtown and a private beach access just for hotel guests.

I stayed here last September with my boyfriend and our dog. We loved our cottage with the lakefront view! The gated porch is a great plus having a dog with you. There's a variety of hotel rooms, cabins and cottages to choose from on the property. The location is great to be able to walk down Canada Street and drive to other attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our cabin so much that we are returning again this September to stay in the same cabin!

A must stay! My fiancé and I stayed here while we attended a wedding on Lake George. Their newly renovated rooms are modern and spacious! The location is perfect for walking into the village and easy to get anywhere. The staff was lovely and the amenities were a great plus! Would definitely stay again, and will be recommending to our family and friends!

My husband and I stayed here recently with our 2 month old, 2 year old and dog. It was our first getaway since the baby was born and it was perfect. You can walk from the motel to anywhere in the village which was super convenient. Our toddler loved swimming at both the beach and pool. It was great to have both options. Some days we’d spend mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool without even having to leave the property. The dog friendly rooms all have wood floors so they’re definitely super clean and don’t smell like some dog friendly places. They had a musician perform at the pool on Thursday before the fireworks which was really fun and a unique experience. We met a lot of regulars who had been returning to the property for years (always a good sign) at the pool party. The young family who manages the property was also there. It’s reassuring to have management like them always somewhere around the property to deal with any issues or concerns you have (thankfully we didn’t have any). The front desk staff (especially Maggie!) was so kind and helpful. They helped us get towels, kayak rentals, local recommendations and anything else we needed throughout the duration of our stay. Definitely thinking we may turn into the regulars at the pool party next year!

This is an amazing property. Matt and Meghan, the owners are very friendly, helpful, and they make you feel like family. They have a very nice staff. They are remodeling and always updating the property. New comfy beds and pillows. In town. Small private beach. Pool. Pet friendly. Rooms, family suites, and cabins. This is a wonderful property, you will not be disappointed .

Our family of 4 adults rents 2 rooms every August for a fun summer vacation in Lake George. We keep coming back because of the family friendly environment as well as the price and convenience. The motel is family operated, and the management really cares about their guests. Prices have not increased drastically as opposed to other places we have visited this year. We like the proximity to all of the best restaurants, stores and attractions in Lake George Village- you can actually walk to most things, which saves money and stress! The motel is relatively quiet because it caters mostly to families with children and senior guests. We have never had a complaint about loud music, unruly guests, or noise while staying here. Rooms are clean and come standard with a mini fridge, cable TV and table/chairs. They recently remodeled, so the bathrooms are ultra-modern (I miss the 50's style pink and mint tiles though LOL) and beds are newer. They do have a small laundry room as well as ice and snack machines near the office. The lakefront area is clean and safe- you can leave your floaties/toys down there and not worry about theft. Do wish there were more chairs to lay out, but the beach area is smaller and it is first come first serve, so I sometimes lay out near the pool instead. Compared to other places I have stayed, their lake area is the best because it is deep enough to swim, and they are no rocks under the water. No lifeguard on duty, so keep that in mind if you have small children and are booking. Ample parking too-if you can't find a space near your room, there is an overflow area. Although we do not currently have any, they do accept pet reservations (select rooms only-call for availability), which makes the stay even better! We LOVE meeting all the pups during our stay. Thank you to Matthew and the staff for making our yearly visits so special! We will always be part of the O'Sullivans family!

My husband and I stayed at O’Sullivans June 15-18th 2023
We stayed in cottage #29 looking out to the lake absolutely beautiful view
Our cottage was clean and very adequate. We had a small refrigerator microwave and also came with a hairdryer. Also came with a small loveseat and side table plenty of light from the ceiling two lamps by the bedside a small window with a great air conditioner in it
Our bathroom was sparkling, clean and had a window.
We had a large sliding glass door with darkening curtains. Our beautiful deck came with table chairs, and a large umbrella just perfect. Also a gate to easily get to the grass, lounge chairs, and to the beautiful lake.
We will definitely be going back

Had a great family vacation at O'Sullivan's. Pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was super nice and so accommodating whenever we needed something. Great location, easy walk to the village. Small beach but great for kids. Pet friendly too! Would definitely go back!

Greatly thankful that this place is pet friendly because our dog has separation anxiety. We were a party of 4 so there was always someone with our little dog. Although she hates going into the water, oddly enough, she enjoys being at the water. She got to hang out at the tiny beach front and meet all the dogs who were friendly to greet her and the dog-loving people who petted her and spoke to her, she loved it. Our shared bed was too small for us because we are both big, we should have a king size bed, but we had our own couple room. My son and daughter had the other room and they had the perfect size double beds for each. The beds were too soft for me and my son, but two others in our group like soft beds. I took a nice nap and refreshed on the hard futon sofa in the living room, the dog also liked the futon sofa. I like that the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom so that people could brush teeth, etc while another used the toilet/shower. We had alot of space which made it incredibly tolerable to be with eachother, we weren't in eachother's way. We have stayed at LG before, we have stayed at some rundown places and smoke filled, we really enjoyed this visit compared to the other dog friendly motels of the past. The front desk was always helpful when I asked for clean towels, toilet paper, and ping pong paddles/balls, and answered my other questions. We rented kayaks from the motel which went seamless and incredibly convenient. Kayak rental was cash only. Access to the lake cannot be any better, but like all of LG, it is harder for someone who has physical challenges of walking uphill/downhill and they have to take it slow, most of the property is flat until you go to the cabin section to the water, the same is true of the village park and everywhere to get to the water. You can stand in the lake for a good distance, it is safe for a non-swimmer. Do not forget to bring your own water tubes and floaties, we also brought our own pool towels as well as all the other guests. I personally did not use the pool but it seemed very nice, in-ground, it had steps for easy in and out and a second step rail on a deeper end, I like that you can use the pool and the people walking by on the street could not see you, I'd say the pool is semi-private view from the public.
I would recommend that the owner paint the spots with the room numbers, which had disappeared from most spots or were very faint. I did not realize there were marked parking spots and when I did, there was a motorcycle parked in our room spot for the whole stay, so we tried to park one number over or across, that would mean we were forced to take another room's spot. It is written somewhere that each room gets one spot but I think there were more vehicles than that. I did not witness any issues, but there was a night when we hung out at the motel, and I saw a few vehicles circling and trying to find a spot. It happened to us but after one circle, we found a spot away from our room.
I would like to stay here again.

If you're planning to head to Lake George for a get away, you really can't beat this place to get settled in. Great location that's right off the main highway and not very far at all from alot of the main attractions. The cabin we choose was pet friendly and very cozy. The beds were on the firmer side but after a long day around the lake you won't mind them at all! Very clean, inside and out. Some remodeling seems to have been done and it shows, the bathrooms are clean and well lit. You get the basic appliances you may need: a grill, oven, stove, microwave even a coffee maker but I would bring an air fryer if you have one. Plenty of plugs for all your electronics and free Wi-Fi but the reception here and practically all of Lake George is very poor so keep that in mind. On the outside there were some carpenter bees gnawing at the wood and the parking can get tight for larger vehicles at the bottom of the property but the staff is very helpful with any concerns and are always around. Matt, in particular saving my behind by finding and shipping out some forgotten items. We will absolutely come back again and take full advantage of everything they have to offer. There's a nice small pool to dip in and a great lounging area at the lakeshore. Great place over all

Just can not say enough about this motel Matt and Megan make you feel welcome, they are truly glad to have you stay and it feels like a home away from home. The rooms are clean, the grounds around motel are always picked up and the new landscaping is really nice. What can I say about the staff, just great, friendly and there when you need them! Thank you for a great stay!
