Excellent friendly Hosts and Staff. Cozy warm environment. Obvious, the management attends to every little detail from customer services to beautiful grounds. Even other guests are friendly. Will definitely come again and again. Also close to all Lake George Village activities.

We went to Lake George for a weekend overnight trip. We’ve stayed in a few different hotels in Lake George, but some of them are not the best. We thought this hotel great. It’s a motel style but updated. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, the shower was good. The staff was also very friendly. It’s located close to the center of town and is walkable if you don’t want to pay to park. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend!

We've stayed at the Admiral for many years! It's always clean & the grounds are well cared for including the pool. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Perfect for our get aways. Highly recommend!

I just finished my second stay for 2023. I stay here every year.
The Hotel is so clean and the rooms are great. The staff is very friendly. The pool was very clean. Walking distance into town was very easy. Just want to say thank you and I will be back in 2024. A great value for my dollar.

Last minute booking as we lost the other booking in another hotel. Was bit sceptic as I never stayed 2 stars motel before. It was a pleasant surprise. The place is way above 2 stars. Room was clean and spacious. I didnt have any issue with bathroom like others here in the review section. I loved the place. I just can recommend to anyone to stay here.

I was promised a 1st floor room when making a reservation due to a back issue. There was a glitch abd none were available at my late check in. The owner carried my bag to my room & was waiting for me to carry it to my car upon check out! Now that's service! You can't ask for more. Very convenient & walkable to the main area of Lake George & a lovely property.

Awesome motel right in Lake George Village. Economy priced but valued so much higher. Convenient to everywhere. Leave your car. Walk right through the village from the motel. Friendly, knowledgeable owner. Great housekeeping staff. Had to ask for nothing. Highly recommend this motel. Great, great, great. This is an underrated gem. Thank you to the staff. Will be coming back.

Can't say enough good things about this place! Loved the cathedral ceilings in the second floor rooms, was cleaned to perfection, AC was amazing! The owners and staff were super sweet and helpful (WiFi was acting up our first night and they fixed it the next morning). Kids absolutely loved the pool. It's located at the start of the main drive in Lake George which made everything within walking distance. We've found our new go-to place when we come to Lake George!

This has become our favorite place to stay. We had always tried different places, but once we found The Admiral, we only stay here. It has the perfect location, very clean and comfortable rooms, accommodating staff, and reasonable rates. They keep the pool spotless!

First off, the location was excellent, right at the beginning of the village and very easily walkable. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The facilities rate more like a 3 star. I've stayed at holiday inns that were comparable. I guess they are rated a 2 and a motel because there's no big lobby area or restaurant within. Overall had a wonderful stay there for 3 nights. My only complaint is that the shower water pressure could be better if I really had to nitpick. You can't really complain though for the very reasonable prices. Thanks admiral!

Stay at this motel!!!! What a quaint, charming, comfortable, clean, and overall fantastic family owned motel. I read the fantastic reviews ahead of time which was the reason we chose this location. The owner is a sweetheart, greeted us at check in and accommodated our stay wonderfully. The rooms were spotless upon arrival. The bed was comfortable. The owner even checked in on us to make sure we were doing well and didn’t need anything. The housekeeping ladies were super friendly and fantastic as well. Such a lovely, hospitable environment we will be sure to stay at from here on out!! Like I said, stay here you will not regret it!

Stayed for a weekend with my s/o. Lovely family run motel within a 5 minute walk of the Main Street. Lots of restaurants nearby but the town definitely gets more busy on Saturdays (make dinner reservations accordingly). The staff was lovely and made us feel welcome. It is across the street from the lake and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again!

Super clean rooms when we got there, a little stuffy but nothing the ac could fix and no room service but I am motivated a slob anyway and I made my own bed. Did get clean towels everyday. But other than that really clean place and close to everything.

Booked this for our Anniversary. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early around 1pm and were immediately able to check into our room #14.We were given an anniversary card and bottle of bubbly upon check in. Manager was extremely helpful he offered some good suggestions. Room was very clean(recently updated and painted) and matched pictures on website. Quaint little locally owned Motel.Each evening upon our return the lights were on outside our room which was very nice after a busy day sightseeing. Will definitely return and stay here again.

Darrel the owner and operator was awesome. He was so nice. It's a family owned and operated hotel and you can really tell he loves the place and he loves lake george. He takes really good care of the place. We were watching him take out the trash and walk around the property take car of the plants. He's also an excellent conversationalist. He knows everything going on in town. We will be back this place was clean our room was so spacious and renovated. We loved it. My husband and I were here for the ADK Jeep Weekend and staying here definitely made it better. We were able to be in the middle of everything because the hotel is so central located on the strip. We were able to walk in town when we wanted to or drive and park if we felt like it. The only complaint would be that the one time I went into the pool there was a bunch of stuff floating in it. The beds were comfy the pillows were too soft for us but we bring our own. Thank you Darell for a great stay! We will be back!

This place was recommended by a friend that stayed there last year. It is located on the north end of Canada Street away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk to everything.

I would describe the place as "quaint." The rooms are small but clean. The exterior is in need of painting and updating. When I see plants growing in the rain gutters, I wonder how closely the owners really look at the property.

The pool is nice with plenty of chaise lounges. There is also cheap resin furniture that needs to be cleaned.

Unfortunately they don't offer free coffee in the office. The coffee makers in the rooms make one cup at a time and it's horrible. They'd be better off putting a Keurig coffee maker in each room as an amenity. There are only 27 rooms so it's a worthwhile investment.

We met Darrell the proprietor who was very nice.

If you need to stay ON the lake, there are plenty of places right across the street.

Would I stay here again? Yes, but I'd be better prepared with more food and drink. They do have refrigerators in the rooms.

Stayed 3 nights, had a great time! Staff is friendly and helpful with directions/suggestions on things to do around the area. Great location just a minute or 2 walk from the shops/restaurants.

Decent price, and most importantly it was CLEAN!

The owner was very helpful he asked what we planned to do with our time and suggested some places to check out and restaurants to go to, all of which were solid suggestions. The pool was nice! Deep end/clean water/nice and warm. No complaints!

I stayed here with my daughter for three days in June. The rates were reasonable and the room had recently been updated and was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Except for going for a hike one day, we parked the car and walked everywhere. We plan to go back again.

Very convenient to everything in Lake George. Our room was immaculately clean and well maintained. All the employees we met were very friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend this hotel.
