Hauppauge Palace Diner

This was my father in laws favorite diner on the days he had cases in court. While on a recent visit to LI we had to stop in for breakfast. Palace Diner did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Immaculate surroundings. Delicious food at a fair price. We lingered for a while fondly remembering our years on LI. Thanks Palace Diner staff

This place has instantly taken my #1 spot as a diner. I'm from NYC but I'm a student here at SBU and this has been my go-to breakfast spot for years. It's by far the best diner I've been including NYC diners. Why? It's CLEAN. The place, utensils, cups, plates are literally spotless and well maintained. I've been to so many diners where the place is filthy. The place has actually been recently renovated too! The tables are marblesque and the booths are all fixed up too.

What's a diner without some good food?! The omelets are top notch and are damn delicious. In regards to pricing, the menu is very fairly priced and your tab won't drain your wallet either. Last but not least, the staff are all wonderful and treat you like family 🤗💕

Had dinner here last night. Liked it so much we returned for a "snack" today. Live in PA but travel to LI frequently (my hometown is Huntington) and will be back again.

We went on a Saturday at 1 o’clock and had a party of 8. We were able to get a table right away. The waitress we had was excellent. The menu was huge and had so many options. I got the Buffalo chicken panini which was very good. My daughter got the chicken fingers which she liked and my son got a chefs wrap which he also liked. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely come back again.

Super cute diner, great service. I ordered the avocado benedict and a cappuccino. Definitely recommend.

I am in awe of this "diner" restaurant. This is a high quality Italian restaurant with the small diner appeal. I ordered the Italian Platter with the house salad. The dish was cooked perfectly with the vegetables cooked to El dente. Their apple pie (I should not have ordered because I already ate to much) was the perfect compliment to an already great meal. Wonderful service and overall great place. Kudos to the team at Hauppauge Palace Diner Restaurant.

We ate here last night and it was really delicious! They offer you stewed chicken when you first sit down and it was so delicious!! I’ve never had that a diner before. Our waitress was very sweet and very Efficient. We didn’t have to wait very long for our food. The dinner specials come with a salad, a soup and a dessert, which is a great deal! The atmosphere is nice and the diner is very clean! If you’re looking for a great diner experience, I highly recommend!

Came for lunch and had a pleasurable experience. The male host made us feel welcomed from the minute we walked in. Our server, Kristin was exceptional! She was very attentive and extremely kind. They are very kid friendly as well. We had our 1 year old and every time they passed by, they would be playful with her! Our food came out soo fast and was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😊 Thank you!!

This is a very great place to come by yourself or bring the whole family for a great meal and great service. Very extensive menu pretty much anything and everything you could ever want or expect from a diner plus some. They have alcohol as well so if you'd like a drink with your breakfast or dinner. Very good coffee as well. Outside it looks like an old diner of the type you don't see anymore inside the same way very nice and very clean and it shows I've actually never seen a restaurant of this type such a clean atmosphere look up at the ceiling in this place and I promise you will never see a place this clean. The ownership is great and the employees are great. Not a bad place to eat at all highly recommended if you're in the area or live here and never ate here please go and check it out.

My daughter and I are in town this week for her softball tournament. We came to this diner for dinner two nights ago, and then went again for breakfast the next morning. The staff here is wonderful, and the food is delicious!

Next time I'm in this area, I will definitely come here again!

My girlfriend and I were in town on business for three days. We ate here every single day. Not only is the food absolutely phenomenal, and the portions bordering on ridiculous, but the service is also exquisite. Friendly, attentive, and unapologetically local. We have diners in Texas, but nothing like this. If I lived here, I would weigh 600 pounds. No joke. The pancakes are scratch made, and the potatoes are cooked with peppers and onions. The bacon is crispy and plentiful. GO HERE.

Staff here is super friendly and the food is stunning, I think they recently reno'd and the interior is beautiful, love coming here with friends and family. Ginger served us tonight and she was amazing just like the rest, thank you for your service

This diner is clean and the staff always on the go. They are attentive and the kitchen produces some of the best burgers ever. They know how to make you feel welcome and want to return again. Love this place.

Chrome exterior with neon sign in the classic æsthetic. Gumball machine in the vestibule as is mandatory for all diners. Lots of booths and one enclosed room. Bathrooms separated by sex. Delicious food of American fair. Spacious parking lot and free, fast wi-fi. On June 23rd, 2021 the Suffolk County Libertarian Party held a joint meeting here with the Nassau County Libertarian Party.

Comfortable, casual diner located off 2 well traveled roads leading to many doctors and law offices in the area. It’s been a staple in the area for very many years. I don’t live nearby, but go whenever Im in the area. The Server at my last visit could have been more attentive (like do we need another cup of coffee, or how was your food), but she was too occupied talking to a couple visiting with her (there was no food & all smiles). She seemed to have been working there for years (very lackadaisical), so Id like to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were former customers and saying hello, so that pays tribute to the diner itself. It unfortunately took the shine off my visit there. Im grateful the food was delicious and the order was perfect from the start. The diner itself doesn’t say latest modern furnishings, but it’s not abused looking, everything looks clean and kept clean, the bathroom was absolutely clean, and I felt the kitchen too would be up to safety standards too.
I look fwd to my next Dr appt so I can drop in again.

The best in the area. Everyone is friendly and focused on service. Family owners are great to talk with. Breakfast lunch and dinner; consistent quality, portion size and good pricing. Had a couple of brunch parties there too...they did a a great job.

And.... Has to be if the best Challah bread french toast!!

A compulsory stop for anybody in the area who wants good food at fair prices. Spacious and clean (including bathrooms) with friendly staff. Ample parking out front. The vestibule contains a vending machine selling toys. Unmistakable neon lighting outside against chrome façade in the classic style. The Suffolk County Libertarian Party convenes here regularly.

The best Dinner! Lots of food on your plate, for a great price. The best cheesecake I ever had! Will definitely go again
