Barberry Court

The room was clean and nicely maintained. Management definitely wants their customers to be happy. We had a lot of fun in the saltwater pool. My husband and I came here last year. This year we brought two friends with us and they enjoyed the stay as well. We are trying to plan another visit later on in the year. We will definitely be staying at the Barberry Court Motel.

I came across this site for Barberry Court out of sheer nostalgia. We had stayed here every year from 1990 until 2001.
We would drive from CT and couldn't wait to arrive. During those years, the owner's name was Tony. He and his wife were a delightful couple. Our rooms were always clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed riding to the Village on the trolley. The only reason we stopped going is that we moved to AZ for my husband's retirement.
I find it so sad to read the recent reviews as it seems there hasn't been a great effort to keep this place up to the standard we knew those many years ago.

Bang for your buck. The owners are wonderful, and explained they just took over a year ago. They are doing great. Rooms were clean, as we had a family suite. They also have the only saltwater pool in Lake George, and it feels wonderful to go in! On site grills allow you to cook on site, and save on dining out. You can walk to Lake George Village from the motel, and sidewalks are accessible the whole way. Very family friendly, and low key.

Beautiful quiet place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was a little cabin, clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure (with a bathroom vent 👍). The only downfall was no hooks or hair dyer but other then that it was great.

Had a great stay! For the price, you cant beat it. Lovely room, clean and smelled good. Pool was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly! Will definitely return!

We love staying at Barberry Court. This is our fifth visit and we are never disappointed. The owner is awesone, the rooms are clean and affordable, the pool is wonderful, and the location is great. We like being on the outskirts...close enough to not miss out on anything but private as well!

Rooms were clean. Showers were hot. Pool was clean. People were polite and professional. 10/10 would stay here again.

The owners are super people and they are very attentive to your needs.

I had a light bulb that was broken and needed to be replaced and the one of the owners was here to fix it within an hour.

Best motel to stay at Lake George. Cozy and clean rooms. Overall place is very well organized with a beautiful pool,lush green sitting area and very friendly staff.

Nice place just up the road from the heart of Lake George. Clean and relaxing. Enjoyed the pool and grilling.

Family run & orientated, the owners are very friendly!Nice place just far enough from downtown, could take trolly if need be.Would definitely recommend if traveling with family or solo.We will be back!
