Green Acre Motel

The owner, Tony was the absolute best host! We got engaged the weekend we were there and he pulled out all the stops—went and got champagne for us to celebrate when we got back and congratulate us. He even helped my fiancé pick out the perfect place to do it. The place is clean and modern, but still homey. The pool and fire pit were super nice after a long day of hiking. Very close to town and lots to do! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Tony—you made us feel so welcome!

This was me and my boyfriend’s first time to Lake George, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Tony was so welcoming and treated us like family. He even hung out with us near the fire pit! He truly went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful. I would truly recommend staying here, the rooms are very clean and had everything we needed. We will back!

We had the pleasure of staying here. The prices are reasonable. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were beyond comfortable, and the pool was very nice with plenty of chairs. But what really made this Motel a stand out was our gracious host. Tony went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Inviting us to a family style BBQ and fire pit s'mores later in the evening. This Motel is a bit of a walk from the Strip but there is a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes and Tony has been known to run a guest into town upon request. 😂. Loved our stay.

We had a wonderful week at Lake George and our stay at Green Acres was perfect. Such a cute and cozy place to stay. Tony made sure we enjoyed our time and treated us like family. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the village and a shuttle offered every 25 minutes or so. While waiting for the shuttle Tony got in his jeep and gave us a ride himself. He truly wanted us to enjoy our time and not wait. What an amazing guy! We will definitely be back to Lake George and will be sure to always stay at Green Acres. Thank you Tony!

Tony is without a doubt the kindest and most accomadating owner I’ve ever encountered. He goes more than above and beyond, and really makes you feel like you’re part of the family. I mean, he literally offered us a ride down to the strip when we missed the trolley. It’s also super close to the strip. He’s so awesome and the whole staff at Green Acres is insanely nice. The room was exactly what we needed and very comfortable. I will absolutely make this my place to stay in Lake George. Thank you Tony and all of the Green Acres Staff! :D

My family and I stayed at The Green Acres for our family vacation in Lake George. I don't know where to begin because it was a wonderful experience and the reason that we will be returning to Lake George. First off the location is perfect. You are located close enough to the shops and restaurants but not too close because at the end of the night it is quiet and you are able to relax. Secondly the rooms are immaculate. I care strongly about cleanliness and this place has that. The pool was clean and well kept and there is a fireplace near by that Tony the owner gladly gives firewood for. That brings me to Tony. He is a friendly man and makes you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. I never felt that I was at a motel. Instead I felt at home with his hospitality. If you are looking for a place to stay this is the place!! My husband and I originally planned to stay one night and we stayed four! We didn't want to leave. Thank you Tony!

Both my girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. I can truly say that this was an amazing boutique motel. Not only were the rooms beautifully renovated, the unit was clean, the grounds were clean, extracurricular activities are offered like table tennis / bonfires / pool, and best of all, the owner is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Tony, thank you again for offering that ride into town. We have already recommended your location to several people. Keep up the great work and I am sure we will be seeing you soon!

Tony the owner went out of his way to make sure my husband and I had a room for the night when we drove up here on a whim. This place is clean and amazing....this is our second time here, and will always be our lake george spot!!! It is perfect

I was going to dock this place a few points because when we arrived and were given keys to the room, the room had not been cleaned from the previous guests. However, it really wasn’t a big deal and the response to this minor issue spoke volumes about the quality and care of the owner of this motel. Tony is an absolute gem of a human and one of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life. He was very apologetic about the situation and cleaned the room himself, and gave us some restaurant recommendations to grab a bite while he was cleaning. When we returned from dinner, the room was absolutely spotless. It was probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever seen, there wasn’t even a spec of dust on the floor. The design of the room also looked brand new and recently renovated, and it was overall top quality. Do yourself a favor and book a reasonably priced, spotless room at green acres!!

I'd love to give ten stars. There are so many options in the region but the owner sets himself above the rest. We stayed 5 nights (was going to be six but we were very worn out) and Tony made sure we felt welcome from the second we pulled into the parking lot. Each time he saw us, he was sure to wave and greet us with constant enthusiasm and he always checked with us to make sure we were happy. No, it doesn't have all that foo foo stuff like a resort would, but you're not paying for a resort type room here either. The pool is clean and clear, they offer both charcoal and propane grills and tables for the guests to use, as well as a kitchenette on premises. Anything you're lacking, the owners will work to accommodate you. They treated us like gold, and to me the unwavering hospitality and just plain great atmosphere at this motel make it my go to place when I return to the area. Thank you, Tony! You made our vacation the best it could be!

This was our first time staying here.Tony the owner was super nice and was very helpful. He went out of his way to make our stay very enjoyable. The room was nice and clean. We are definetly going to stay here next year and years to come.

Great Motel. Mr. Tony made you feel at home and was there to help with whatever you needed. He drove me and my buddies to the beach and showed us around and all the spots to eat and visit. Great father and owner which was visible he treated you like family and was visibly working all the time with a great attitude

We had reservations for a different motel, but when we got there, they lost the reservations we had. We went a couple hundred feet down the road to Green Acres where the owner Tony was more than accommodating!! He did everything to make our Lake George weekend INCREDIBLE. Also a huge shout out to Lisa and Simon who also made sure our stay was super comfortable!! I can't say enough great things about Tony and his staff!! THANK YOU!!

Excellent! All around great experience. Room, pool, grounds, fire pit, visitors all enjoyable. Top notch owner on site very helpful to anything you’d need. Great location for a hot summer weekend on LG. Quiet at night, peaceful all day- all around worth the stop. I’ll be visiting here again.

My wife and I love to fish. So this year my wife decided to plan a fishing weekend for me for my birthday in Lake George! What a great Wife!!! However, not knowing the area well she had booked a room at another motel (Fran-Cove) who lost our reservation! we thought all our hopes were lost. We didn't have the money for a big hotel, so we started knocking on doors. The first place we came to was Green Acres Motel. We were met by Lisa. A very sweet and charming lady. When we explained to her what had happened to us and that it was my birthday she truly wanted to help. She contacted the Motel's owner (Tony) and The 2 of them found us a room!!! The price was very reasonable and the room was very comfortable. At any time if my wife or I needed something or had a question they were there. Periodically they would ask me how my birthday weekend was going and they always called me by name
Those are the things that mean alot. They were always cheerful and always had a smile. They also had a nice young man working there named Simon. A very hard working guy. very polite. Thank you Green Acres for making my birthday awesome!!!!!!!!

From the moment I booked the room I was impressed by the attentive customer service!
There was an issue with the reservation thru the site I used, the owner handled everything in his and and called me to let me know it's fixed before I even saw the email about there being an issue!
Once there my first impression wasnt the best as there was noone there to check us in.. but that was quickly remedied, we received our keys and entered a very clean and neat suite. Quick getaway with a friend, two teenagers and a toddler figured two room suite would be what we needed and honestly was worth the extra penny!
Besides the great room the pool was great but what impressed us most was the presence of ping pong table, fire pit and small communal kitchen which was huge hit with adults and kids alike!!
Anything we needed the owner was extremely accommodating! Very personal and attentive care. Would highly recommend to anyone! Already looking forward visiting again soon!!

The rooms are so nice and clean! The owner Tony is extremely nice. You get a very cozy home feel, I forget that it’s a motel. Husband has been staying here for years and we as a family will continue to stay here.

What a great family owned motel. Tony is the best!! So caring and accommodating. We were only passing through lake George this time around but he made sure to take care of us. Will definitely book next time I'm in in the area.
