Fran-Cove Motel

I gave 5 stars, but the room could be a bit cleaner, but other than that, it's fine. Good enough for me to stay 1 night. Super friendly front desk guy. He might be the owner. I saw him go to the house that's located in the back of the motel property. He was awesome and friendly. I would stay here again if my boss books this motel. I have been working across America for 6+ weeks now, and I have been in worse.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars to the man who checked me in tonight, He might have been the owner.

We had a quiet two night stay at Fran Cove Motel. The room was clean, quaint, and had good temperature control. It was a short drive to all the locations we wanted to visit. We didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The two room suite was perfect for us and our kids.

We had a wonderful experience at Fran-Cove Motel. The owner was so nice and accommodated my big family. He gave us two huge motel rooms on the first floor and we can unload the van right in front of our rooms. So great when you have little ones. The rooms were so big and very clean. Each day, housekeeping would come and clean the room and refresh our towels without us even asking. The pool was really nice and they had BBQ grills and a playground for the kids. We will definitely come back. Even the night clerk was so sweet and helped me when i needed something. I recommend this place. Thank you again Fran Cove management for making our stay a wonderful experience!!!

Excellent service, very clean rooms and the motel grounds were kept extremely clean as well. We had a ton of bags so the staff was able to accommodate us with a room on the first floor upon request. The trolley stops right out front too and it's also within walking distance to the main town. Stayed there three years in a row that's how much I loved my experience there. If you're thinking of planning a trip to Lake George I highly recommend you stay here. The pool was also a major plus too.

Fran Cove is wonderful. We tend to book our rooms spontaneously and they always have an amazing deal for us! The rooms are are clean, the pool is nice and clear and the staff takes care of us!
The building is surrounded by the beautiful forest and I always get some amazing shots of the moon on a clear night! 10 out of 10, we will be back! It is always our first call when visiting the area and we need a place to stay!!
My only complaint is they are seasonal and when it is out of season or they are full and we can't stay there!!!

It was last minute I booked this motel because our Airbnb house had a Wi-Fi issue and we canceled it. The motel is clean and tidy. The staff here is very nice and friendly. I did something stupid while checking out in the morning. I left my watch in the room and I didn’t notice until late evening. I was so worried and immediately called them. The front desk picked up the phone and told me the cleaning staff found my watch and they hold it. I picked my watch the next day. I was so thankful. Highly recommend this motel cuz they are professional and honest.

This is a great motel! The owner and his family are completely dedicated to running a great business. The bathroom had a fresh coat of paint and new flooring. The room was spotless and fresh towels every day. This is a perfect spot for families or people who are not into the late night party scene in town. The pool was cleaned every morning and the owners father mows the lawns. The babbling stream was perfect for early morning reading and enjoying the fresh morning coffee. We will definitely stay they again.

Very pleasant people. Family owned business. Very clean place, clean pool, and above all, the housekeeping Shelby, and owner was extremely helpful and sweet. It's not a luxury motel. It is A MOTEL. So if you are looking for luxury, go and stay at a hotel. people tend to stay in these little motels and expect everything that a luxury hotel gives you. when they don't receive it they bash the motels /give bad reviews. Its not fair to the owners. I loved my stay and will return. Thank you Shelby, and Elian!! 🤗🤗🤗

Such a charming little place. We stopped on our way through the area to get a good night of sleep. We were very impressed with the friendly staff, clean spacious room (with a separate bedroom for the kids) and beautiful property- perfect little playground and sparkling pool (we would have went swimming in if we didn't have to get right back on the road in the morning). Drove through the little town of Lake George on our way to the interstate and the whole area looks like a wonderful place to have a family vacation. We live far away, but I can see us returning in the future to spend time in the area and visit the Fran-Cove Motel again!

I had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights, great place i have to say that the property is well maintain, I have watch the owner take pride in the property. The pool area is very well maintain clean. The rooms are very clean bed is comfortable.mini fridge in rooms. All the rooms are non smoking which is great. The owners are very friendly. If you need a place to stay I highly recommend this place.

Staff is friendly and place is clean and well kept. Wish we came a little earlier in the season so the pool was open but besides that it was exactly what my family and I needed, something price friendly that was within walking in my distance of down town. This place delivered both. Plus somehow we took a pillow and when I called the staff was very understanding. I will definitely return

This hotel is a bit of a gem. It's clean, well kept and reasonably priced. The owner goes up and above to make sure your stay is a good one. It's just outside of town, so it's peaceful and easy to enter/exit the street. Don't be looking for upscale features,but if your idea of vacation is a "command post" from which to take a break from everything and plan your adventures, then this is it.

As a group of 7 on a budget we weren’t sure what to expect ..but we were so pleased with our stay at the Fran Cove motel in lake George .the rooms were VERY clean and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We wanted to extend our trip a day and although the room we had for three dats was booked after us the owner was able to move us two doors down to a slightly smaller room..that room too was very clean ! The pool was beautiful and my kids loved the basketball area!! Being so close to the villiage was wonderful too ! If your looking for a fantastic place to stay for a great price book the Fran cove !!! Well Definately be staying there again!!

Stayed here for 2 nights during bike week. I think this is the only motel that doesn't double their rates during bike week. This place is right on the trolley route to town, I chose to walk anyway, 1 mile each way all sidewalk. People that work here are some of the nicest I have met at a motel. Very helpful with local information and making sure you have everything you need. Very reasonable price, nice pool and free coffee(it's good) in the morning, I'll be back.

Hotel is simple, affordable, has everything you need. Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed over labor day weekend and all other lodgings were way overpriced. Short ride into town, or you can walk! First time in Lake George and we will definitely stay again!

Great staff right from start of booking .greeted me with a smile when arrived..my room was clean air on fridge on coffee on table ready for me to make a cup. The staff made sure I had everything to make my stay comfortable. I highly recommend when comming to lake george

Had an excellent stay here. Customer service was top notch. Ahmad went out of his way to make sure our stay was very comfortable. He was very accommodating.

Excellent service... enjoyed my stay. Staff was magnificent. Rooms were nice and very clean. Location was great Thank you for accommodating parking for my work truck. I recommend staying here. If I could give more stars I would. Looking forward to my next visit.

Clean rooms, nice staff, when something was needed, they complied right away. close to town and the shuttle bus comes by frequently if you don't want to drive. will definitely come back next year.

We booked 2 room each had 2 double bed , 95 dollar per night with free wifi , swimming pool,free car parking and free morning coffee. What you can expect within this price , specially in 4th july rush time .Rooms are clean and cozy. Crew's are very friendly and you can get them any time . This is actually a very budget friendly 2star motel.
