Monroe Community Park

The updated playground at the front of the park is very refreshing. There are unique parent/ child swings that look more like motorcycle seats. They can be hard to get going if you are short like me, but fun if you are willing to think outside the box. They are made to accommodate larger parents, too. My kids like to bounce between the playgrounds, so I am glad there are still others still here.

Tough disc golf course if you haven't played wooded areas lots of hills but had a lot of fun. Great for the family and pets playing ball and just hanging out very clean and peaceful.

Great sledding hills. Lots of climbing structures and disc golf. Historic log cabin and Little Library. Good community park and sports complex.

Great park for the entire family. Playsets, basketball, baseball and plenty of room to walk and run. Remember the Frisbee golf course, as well!

Great disc golf course. Good mix of wooded and open holes. Good mix of distances and elevation too. Dog and cart friendly.

Beautiful park with a 24 hole disc golf course!!

Disc golf course is a mostly-wooded 24 holes. It's technical and challenging for the amateur and novice, but probably not a place for beginners. Wind varies in and out of the woods, so you'll need to know how to handle all of that. Lots of up and down hill throws. When you're ready to learn how to use the shape of a disc's flight, this is your place.

Great course. Can get crowded during sporting seasons with soccer and baseball

This park is huge and so gorgeous. My family came here for Frisbee Golf on Father's Day and really enjoyed the course, though there is a TON of poison ivy, so plan to shower after going for AWOL discs. Otherwise, there is a lot of beautiful open lawn and several baseball diamonds that had active games going on. I am sure there were plenty of other amenities I didn't notice.

Could use better walking paths to the fields. It is a great place though. Very clean too!

Easy 24 hole disc golf course. Varies between tough par 3's to easy par 4's. Mostly wooded/covered holes but has a few in the open. Overall great course

The disc golf course here is challenging for beginners but rewarding when you get your shots just right!

Elevation changes are a major feature of this course with a good mix of shot variety. Another feature of this course is the somewhat tight treeline on either side of the fairway on many holes. This forces players to be aggressive, but at a cost.

This is one of my favorite courses I've played and would highly recommend.

This is a great community park. Lots of open ballfields, playground sets and walking paths. The 24 hole disc golf course is good for beginners and more advanced players as well, with a mix of elevation and technical shots.

My son is almost 4 and this is the 1st time we went to this park. He absolutely loved it! I liked the chopped up tire for the playground vs mulch. Plus, my son got to see some kids play baseball from the playground. He definitely wants to return as do I!

I love this park. My little brother and I used to walk there every weekened sometimes weekdays if we had time and spend hours there. They had an event there one year that we went to (it was the first and last time we ever got to see it, we moved shortly after) they had a concert, fireworks, and ice cream. I can't wait to start taking my kids there soon! 💜

Fun park with lots of green space for the kids to run and play in addition to the two play areas. Shade and sun and the trees keep the wind at a nice breeze. Great fireworks on the 4th also.

Great for cycling or just a stroll on the trails. Offers free movies in the park occasionally during summer months. Great place to enjoy a picnic or just relaxing while reading a book.

I liked how quiet and serene it was. Usually some parks are very crowded and busy, and I am sure this one is when there are sports, but the day I went, it was fantastic! Quiet, serene, and peaceful! Sometimes exactly what I need to clear my head from doubt and worry.
