Super happy to find a good mechanic locally. They're so friendly here and you can just tell they're an honest shop. They've been really helpful with issues I've had with my car.

So glad I found this place. These guys are really friendly, helpful, and fairly priced. I took my car in for a check engine light and there ended up being some pretty major issues, and my car was still finished the next day. They even corrected an issue from a previous mechanic. I’m not a car person, but they broke down the issues and even took pictures to explain. They will 100% be my new go to mechanic.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I've been going to them for years and they always go above and beyond. This particular time I went to go to work and my car wouldn't even turn over. Ralph told me to have it towed, but let me know they were pretty busy so they might not get to it immediately. Well they did, and one mechanic even came in when they were closed to work on my car so I could have it back and go back to work. I am truly amazed by the dedication everyone there has to their job. Anyone who goes anywhere else is a fool.

I went in today because my car was making a weird sound. Ralph looked it over and found out it was a minor issue. He fixed it right away and sent me on my way! Highly recommend this place for any car issues you have going on. Ralph is very friendly and nice! Very professional business!

My new go to shop. Met with Ralph on the phone and person. I'm very mechanically incline and described my issue and he knew exactly what I meant and exactly how to fix it. They did it quick and had my pcm reset done quick. Definitely recommend these guys

Working nights and driving very far for work makes it hard to find a place that’s even open between your work hours. My car needed to be inspected. I stopped in on my way home from work. I explained my situation and all the trouble I was having with getting car inspected at another garage. I was politely told that I could wait and see if they could squeeze my car in with an already busy morning line up that they had. I was totally ok with that. I did not make an appointment and really dropped curve ball on these guys. Within a couple of mins he had one of his guys take my keys and had them inspect my car real quick before starting their morning jobs. I was completely blown away with such amazing customer service. They had me out of there with a new sticker in about 20 mins. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants superb customer service and the utmost respect and kindness to customers. Thank you again for getting my Toyota Avalon in with no notice. I am very thankful.

I was told to come to J & M AUTO after issues with a previous mechanics place left me with car/mechanic anxiety. I am so glad I did! Both times I've been there, they've gotten me in quick, got the problem taken care of and most of all communicated with me throughout. If I could give more stars I would, I appreciate everything they've done for me so far and will definitely be bringing my vehicles to them from now on. Couldn't be happier.

Yesterday morning I woke up to a dead car battery. As soon as J&M opened I called to ask the owner to order me a new battery. He had the battery in by that afternoon and installed in my car by that evening. He even noticed my inspection was expired and was kind enough to do that as well. I was unable to get to the shop until eight before it close but I was in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes. I appreciative of the service provided and would highly recommend J&M automotive.

Tried this shop since Mccarthy closed. I was actually very happy with the service. I'll be bring my vehicles here now.

We were so grateful for Ralph at J&M who rescued us in an emergency situation when our alternator broke in our minivan as we were traveling from Boston to Ithaca last month. It was a worst-case scenario: we were stranded on the side of the road with three kids and a car full of luggage, and more than 2 hours away from our destination. Ralph was able to get the part and he had his team fix our car in a couple of hours. While it’s no simple job, and other auto shops in the area couldn’t do it for days or until the week after, Ralph was able to make it happen and saved our vacation! We were (and still are!) beyond grateful. We would highly recommend J&M to anyone in the area, or anyone passing through!

Best automotive repair shop, my family and have been going there for all our automotive needs for years ,friendly ,fair and very honest they do there very best to fix whatever the problem is in a timely manner, we have never to bring any if our vehicles back for the same problem, they fix it once and right ,J&M is like a doctor or barber you get a good one and stay with them

I had a flat tire on the highway, route 88. The owner (?) of J&M Auto helped me get a new tire, recycle the old one, and get me back on the road and driving home. He was very friendly, helpful, and had excellent service. Really made a bad situation much more manageable. Five stars!

Ralph was very courteous! Needed a tire plugged right before closing time with an impending storm and Ralph helped me out. Thanks again! Will certainly recommend this shop.

I've been going to J&M for a very long time, and have always had a great experience. Today I took my wife's truck over for a power steering fluid leak. I dropped it off at 8am, and it was fixed by 2pm. They were able to retrofit a universal part with custom made brackets, which was half as expensive than the dealer part (which was also on backorder). Her steering is like brand new. Very pleased with the service.

College student in the area and they have fixed my car twice. Reasonably priced and do a great job of making sure your vehicle is safe to drive. When looking for a place to get my car fixed, they came highly recommended from everyone I talked to. Very pleased with all of the work they gave done.
