This place has wonderful food and a great decor. Woodfire pizza plus an amazing menu with the same chefs as portifino in Utica. Top notch!

Hello everyone!

I see often that people are looking for recommendations for venues and food and such online So I thought to share our most amazing experience at the Miners Table. It’s the former Crystal Chandelier up on Route 28 at the Herkimer Diamond Mines.

We held a bridal shower for my daughter.

It was amazing! The owner Renee is just fabulous.

She thought of things I would not have even thought of such as per menu ideas and place settings and like, everything! She knew exactly how the tables should be set, she had gold plate charges on the tables and candles and flowers!

It was a Bridal Tea party so they started first with a champagne table and placed little blueberries inside of the champagne glasses and we had a small cheese display set out to begin as the guest sipped champagne and mingled. We did not even ask for the cheese display. They just went ahead and did that as Renee thought that that would compliment the champagne table! That’s remarkable!

So also, Renee suggested a piano player! I paid $250 for the extremely talented piano player and that was worth every single penny. Wow, set such a beautiful ambiance!

Then they began to serve the tea sandwiches on tiered plates. All handmade! It was a selection of cucumber sandwiches and egg salad and raspberry chicken salad!

We also had one guest who was gluten free and they made her an entirely gluten free menu that mirrored our menu selections! They made her finger tea sandwiches in lettuce wraps! They were so considerate!

Next came the soup course, homemade Italian Wedding soup with pastini and house made mini meatballs. Absolutely delicious.

Next course was a mixed green salad with strawberries, feta cheese, housemade croutons, walnuts and raisins with a light balsamic vinaigrette!

Last course was a housemade breaded chicken cordon blue with a honey Dijon cream sauce and wild rice. I’m still craving that Cordon Bleu to this day! Housemade and lightly breaded. Gorgeous!

If you are seeking a very over the top exceptional experience for a bridal shower or baby shower or rehearsal dinner or any smaller gathering of any celebration? Call Renee! And the pricing was NOT over the top! Very reasonable for all that we enjoyed!

Our expectations were beyond exceeded.

Renee actually asked me to meet with her In person to discuss everything and brought out the Chef Steven and her lead manager Erika to make certain all of our wishes were met. The personal service that you will receive is just nothing like you can imagine. I felt like, we were the only party that they had ever planned. Like, it was so personal. Meaning each and every event that they hold is so important next to every other event. I don’t know how to explain it, other than no matter how small your gathering may be, You are treated just the exact same if you have a wedding of 300. And I think that’s what impressed us the most. Every client is treated like it’s the most amazing event. If that makes sense!

They do have options for weddings as well and graduation parties and any gathering. I think they have a wedding barn too?

They also serve dinners and wood fired pizzas!

And they have this cutest outside patio with heaters. We hadn’t ever been to dinner prior but we are now going!

AND! As a TEA PARTY! Renee pulled out all of her mother’s and grandmother’s vintage China to set the table with. We were in AWE.

This entire experience was beyond amazing. I’m still in shock of how absolutely classy and wonderful. We felt like Queens!

PS the pastries were separate and sourced from Ramons Bakery on Albany Street in Utica. Absolutely freaking delicious.

Fantastic food and staff! Pizza was so good I went back two more times! Nice bar as well. Had the herkitini. Husband adored the ravioli. Chocolates in the shape of Diamonds given after dinner Will definitely be returning. Staff was super... friendly and helpful.

It was a great experience. The portions are HUGE and the service was outstanding. Wonderful atmosphere too. Will definitely be returning.

Great place to unwind, Staff was friendly, intelligent, accommodating, all around helpful. We will be dining there again. Food was amazing

My Mom scheduled a private event here for a group of 30 mostly out of town relatives coming in for a funeral. Renee the owner was absolutely fantastic in helping coordinate everything as my Mom was doing it all remotely. The food was incredible and the wait staff was pleasant and extremely attentive. I would highly recommend holding a private or just going to dinner here. Thank you Renee and your fantastic staff. We will he back the next time we are in town.

Best buffet for a large group (150) I've had in many years. The place is a little out of the way but well worth the trip. The service people operate with precision so guests aren't tripping over each other.. There's a restaurant for individual dining also, and judging from the banquet food, I'm going back with my wife soon.

The service was great. The food was great. Every employee there was friendly and very welcoming especially when it came to our two young kids. The pizza guy knew our pizza order was for the kids and made sure it cooled off before sending it back to us. Another server even helped my youngest sign her name on the wall when she was getting antsy. Highly recommend!!

Drinks were delicious, food was spectacular, and service was beyond compare.

A surprising gem in connection with a tourist venue. Came to visit the gem shop next door and decided to stay for early supper.

The dinner came with a plate of bread drizzled with balsamic vinegar, fresh pressed garlic and olive oil, and shaved Parmesan. An amazing beginning.!

The callimari was tender with a light breading, the cedar plank salmon was done to perfection and the pulled pork on the miners burger was an extra special touch. The meal was too much to eat, and we couldn't sample the desserts.

We ate on the deck which was nicely shaded by the hill to the west and had a lovely wild flower garden on the behind.

Unfortunately the house beers were not in stock.

Will go back next time we are in the area.

We just had a family death and 28 of us in the family here and it was fantastic. The owner went out of her way. The food was fabulous it was just perfect. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Five stars are not enough

UPDATE: very disappointed on our second visit 🫤

We may have enjoyed this restaurant more than the diamond mine itself... After you walk out of the price gouges of the diamond mine gift shop and food court you just expect that this place was going to be the same but it absolutely wasn't... very large tasty portions for very reasonable prices.

The atmosphere was fantastic... Diamond rocks on the walls and in the tables really tied the theme together and you can find themed items on the menu... They let you sign your name on the walls and the service was excellent. The wood-fired pizza guy was his affable as you could hope and even let my daughters come behind the counter and sign the wall underneath and talked about the pizza oven. This place is a gem.

Ordered the fried fish and it was pretty good. Also got wings for appetizers and they were fantastic. Only complaint is that the wait for the food was a little long. And we tried to go here on Father's day but unfortunately they closed down the whole restaurant and only allowed people in that had reservations.

This is the second meal we have had! Delicious! Food is so good huge portions! Steve who is running this restaurant is amazing he came out to ask how we were! Just fabulous! If u have been there before and were on the fence please go back this year what great service and food!

I have been here both as part of staff and as a patron of the restaurant, and this place is one of a kind! Kodos to Rene for creating such a uniquely family-like place to both work in and enjoy in your spare time. Also, the chef's creations are incredibly tasty , and all other things aside this place would be worth it just for the food. However the staff is excellent as well as they are each knowledgeable and attentive. Love it here, and despite moving hundreds of miles away to be closer to biological family, I will always stop here when I am in the area to enjoy the fine cuisine. I encourage others to do the same whether local or just stopping by, you will be treated like royalty!

We came here for a family gathering. Approx. 19 people and we didn't have too long of a wait for our food. The pizza, chicken riggies, chicken Parm, pulled pork Mac n cheese, etc... were all delicious. I highly recommend going here for a nice meal or for a gathering.

Very good food, very attentive staff. However I was at a private party so don't know what the public service is like.

This place is amazing!!!! I went there with my cousins after my brothers engagement shoot and the food was beyond expectations good! Their fire brick pizza is phenomenal and the owner is the most friendly guy ever! Staff was friendly and met all our needs! Really looking forward to coming back and can't wait!
