Plaza Diner

So glad to have finally tried this place! Since moving up here from Queens two years ago, I've missed the neighborhood diners. Plaza Diner has the best of what I've been missing.
The food was excellent, but our waitress, Kathy, really made us feel welcome. Can't wait to go again.

This restaurant moved to this new location a year or so ago. BIG IMPROVEMENT from previous tenant restaurant. CLEAN. Great service, attentive. Great diner food. I always have corn beef hash at diners and theirs was delicious. I'm often solo and i still get a booth. Busy place but service is still great.

Lovely lunch at Plaza Diner in their new location. The salad bar remains a great choice. The space is bright and welcoming. This is a Greek diner so you can't go wrong choosing a Greek entree. We had a relaxed lunch with attentive staff. Will return again.

We stopped by for lunch on the way to home from a trip. The diner is kinda in the middle of nowhere, little off from the downtown so it was hard to find the place without GPS. Anyway, they have good menu and homy atmosphere. The food was really good and the waitress was very friendly. If we're near we'd definitely go back.

didn't know this place was here - driving by it for years. maybe I only had eyes for Brooks BBQ. good selection of breakfast fare. quick, friendly service. lots of parking.

A+ Excellent place for any meal. This was the first time we had stopped there to eat since the last business was there. The new owners have improved this restaurant COMPLETELY!
Our food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive which is always a bonus, because it is getting difficult to find places with caring staff. There was plenty of parking and immediate seating upon arrival. We arrived on a Friday night around 6!
Next time I visit Oneonta, I'll definitely go here again. Great diner food❣

Always a solid choice, we do a work breakfast/lunch here at least once every couple of weeks and it never disappoints. Waitstaff is great as well!

Fabulous roadside restaurant. The steak and egg breakfast was fantastic. Great value at $15. A perfectly cooked quality steak and thicker than other places. The home fries have plenty of green and red peppers as well as onions. I’ll be back to eat here before I leave town, that’s for sure.

It isn't Morey's, but as close as you can get. I have had approximately 12 meals here. I haven't had a bad one yet. Your experience may differ, but I will personally visit this restaurant again.

Service was great and friendly. The menu had a decent amount of options on it too! I tried the captain crunch French toast. So delicious!! Would definitely recommend trying this place!

Plaza Diner would be one of the better places I enjoy eating at on a late Sunday morning for brunch with my good friend (Mr. Don). The two of us have never found the restaurant ever lacking in both quality of service and the superb quality of the food. One of my favorite waitresses at Plaza Diner would be Mona who understands very well the definition of being a very good waitress.......

Our food was great. A bit skimpy on the fries with my burger but other than that my meal was good. My mom's home fires were very over cooked and greasy so she didn't finish them but her omelet was delicious she said. Restaurant was clean and our server was great! Joked with us and was very prompt with our check and any needs. We will definitely return.

We absolutely love this place! Waiter staff friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious!! My only complaint would be they close early! Worth the stop and have a bite to eat with great people, great atmosphere and great food!

This was a great diner. Four of us ate here. Everyone liked their meals. I got the soup and salad bar, yummy. Parking was easy and it was clean. The staff was very nice. Nice place to get a meal 👍

A fantastic diner with great food that's not at all far from downtown Oneonta. They have excellent Greek, loads of great vegetarian options and a really nice atmosphere. Very much recommend them when you're in Oneonta or Cooperstown!
