Great Commission Baptist Church

I would recommend, everybody in the Blair area, attend great commission Baptist church. The preaching is by the book, and is always from God. There are great people that attend. And they are very welcoming to new people.

Preaching Bible Truth with a great Pastor.

Experience there was not great... When we got there the place was crowded, as if they had just opened their doors. When we got inside we discovered that we had to seat ourselves, which was fine, but then we noticed that their were no tables! A little strange but "ok" I thought, maybe the move was just to get peoples' attention more focused on the act. Now the stand up act, which I kinda expected to be funnier, was more of a somewhat dark, script reading of a drama scene. We had to wait almost 40 minutes before we finally see some servers with trays of the bread and wine appetizers they had been talking about, which turned out to be some croutons sized piece of crunchy bread and the so called "wine" tasted like there was no alcoholic content like- At All. And that was IT! Now I understand that some fancy restaurants only give you tiny nibbles if food but you half expected it to at least taste fancy... Anyway after a few more minutes the servers returned and started passing down a basket for people to pay their bills (a few folks didn't seem to think it was worth paying for) and I can't say that I blame 'em. The food was lame and the act put me to sleep.
