Friendly Pets

With 14 pets, we spend a lot of time at pet stores, and my first and favorite stop is always Friendly Pets in Lee. The staff is helpful and friendly, the animals in store are well cared for. They have an assortment of healthy feeder insects, and are willing to order anything I'm looking for. I love this store!

Lots of great treats and toys to spoil my puppy with. I specifically go to this pet store because of the people. Even if they're initially busy talking to a customer on the phone when I walk in or cashing someone out at the register, they make it a point to come find me and engage in conversation and give my dog attention. The friend-lee isn't just a clever pun. I come in at all hours, interacted with about 6 different employees, and every time it's been a great experience.

This review is for the dog park in the rear of the store. It's a large, mostly grassed, well maintained dog park with a few community toys and water bowls. It's fenced with chain link fencing and has double doors at the entrance to keep dogs from escaping when someone enters or leaves. There are picnic tables and a bench to sit on while your pooch romps around. Everyone cleans up after their dog so you can roam around and not worry about stepping in any "pooh". It's completely free to use.

Beautiful place with a large variety of pet supplies! The staff here are amazing! I just got my new buddy from here yesterday. His name is Jedi and he is an absolute sweetheart!

Very friendly staff! They took the time to call their Exeter location to special order a product for us! These folks are incredible!

A very nice pet store! There are rows and rows of products all neatly placed on shelves and organized by type of animal.
We used the do it yourself wash the dog room. This facility is top notch for the do it yourself type person. 2 separate stations with tub sink, With or without a ramp. 3 flavors of shampoo and 1 conditioner and an intense air dryer. Towels are $1 a piece but you’re welcome to bring your own.
This was a first for us with our little girl. She tolerated it very well. And we were impressed with the entire place.
The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to do business with. We’ll be back for sure.
For those that may want to exercise there dogs, there’s a park behind the building.

We boarded our three rabbits with them for 5 days and they could not have been more wonderful. I had great peace of mind knowing they were in a safe space with lots of room to roam. They sent me photo updates via text and welcomed me to call anytime to check-in. Their team is incredibly kind and clearly knowledgeable about rabbit care. We will absolutely use them again!

Their staff is always so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Even if your coming just to visit the small animals they always take time to to talk and handle the animals and encourage the patrons as well.
We had a senior pup who was having seizures and they were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about helping us with his dietary needs.
After his passing we brought home a new puppy and they were great about helping us pick out healthy food and enrichment toys/ treats too.
We are also regulars at their dog park as well. Which is a fantastic area to meet other great dog owners and introduce your pup to friends!

Rowen (not sure if I spelt her name right, sorry!) was extremely helpful in the fish department. She was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to helping me pick out the proper fish for my tank size and plants and plant care for my tank. All of the staff at the registers were friendly as well, I enjoyed going in and will be back! Thank you Rowen and all the staff at Friendly Pets for creating a great environment to shop for your pets 😊

Mandy is THE BEST! I showed up with 10 minutes until closing for 8 fish. She had everything bagged and checked out just 2 minutes after closing time. They were very happy to work with me despite my poor timing. They also were the only place to have what I was looking for! Highly recommend.

This store and its associates go above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs! Thank you for being so amazing.

Our dog has allergies requiring a strict diet. Buying the 30 pound bags saved me $20 over buying 15 pound bags. But they were out of the 30 pound bags twice.
The gentleman at the counter suggested special ordering. And looked up my account to dictate exactly when to order the larger bag.
Not only am I back to saving money, but now I know there will be a bag for me!
This may be standard service to them, but it felt as though it was specialized service to me!

My favorite location, staff are way nicer at this location than the Exeter Store and animal set ups are way better here. Love the choices and boarding option at this store. I can't wait to go get our new bird from them

This is my favorite pet store. Staff are so friendly and willing to help. If they don't have it in store they offer to order what you are looking for which makes their store that much bigger. Their animals are very clean and I 100% recommend.

Awesome pet store! The staff is great and super helpful. I brought our dog in for a nail trim and while he fights us like were killing him, he did wonderful for them. It was quick and they were loving about it. The store also has a free dog park. We enjoy it so much. It's nice to have a huge fenced in area where our dog can just run. Brought him again on a warm winter day and while there was no one else to play with, he enjoyed the free run.

Helped with collar recommendations, per my request. Helped fit the correct collar to dog. Fitting the collar before purchase to ensure proper fit. Great frozen bones that keep her entertained for hours. (Which is amazing, because she chews through anything in about 20 mins). Thankful for the staff!

I absolutely love Friendly Pets. My boyfriend and I are in this store at least once a week for our two dogs and two cats. They have everything you could think of and also offer natural options-only the best stuff for our fur babies. Customer service is hands down the best in the area; always willing to work with you and offer suggestions for any question you may have. P.S. they have a dog park!! I loved this store! It was my first experience with washing my dog on-site. It was so convenient and super easy. The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted me in choosing a new dog food for my Golden doodle. He loves the food!

Great locally owned store. Very friendly (love how they greet you when you enter). Always plenty of staff. Been going there for many years.

Was surprised by this cute pet shop! Didn't want to leave, every time I turned around there was something new and exciting. Largest selection of small animal toys out of anywhere I have been too. Watched them clean the hamster cages and one chubby hamster was trying to fight off the scoop, very cute. Customer service was very friendly and welcoming.
