Rudi's Portsmouth

Didn't have a reservation but stopped to ask for a table anyway (530 pm on Saturday), they had one available. Food came out quick and was delicious. I order halibut my son ordered steak (cooked medium as ordered). Waitress was great.

Our food was delicious. Hats off to Logan, the chef. My salmon was cooked perfectly and nicely plated. Guest had fettuccini with lobster, shrimp, fresh clams and other seafood in a coconut curry sauce that was exceptional. Waitress, Noelle, was delightful. Nice ambience.

Having dinner at Rudi’s was a great call! The menu is online, service was impeccable and my spicy time tacos were delicious. Very well located in the city center, we would definitely come back here!

Went for Sunday brunch. They open at 10 and do take reservations (our party of 2 walked up and were seated without an issue). The menu had a nice selection of reasonably priced items. The service was very pleasant and attentive, and the food tasted great and came out as described on the menu. A bonus... ample free parking (hard to find in downtown Portsmouth)!

I went into Rudi’s for a quick drink and appetizer and it was absolutely amazing! Lucy was very nice and helpful recommending the brussel sprouts which were insanely delicious. Liz made the best drinks! Lastly, Kyle was attentive and great with timing. The pace of the restaurant was very comfortable and the staff had wonderful customer service. I’ll definitely be back again

Peach cobbler with port wine and an old fashioned...perfect.

This is one of the best places I've been. The waitress was awesome, my girlfriend requested to not have the sauce for the scallops because she didn't want bacon and the chef came over asked what flavors she likes and made her 3 custom sauces to try with it. The atmosphere was beautiful they had a piano player playing live music. The food was delicious. I will be back there anytime I come to Portsmouth

My Husband and I went to Rudi's tonight. We sat outside. We're not ready to dine inside because of the Covid Virus.

Our waitress was Elizabeth. She was great! I'm a very picky eater. I make changes to the menu everywhere I go. Elizabeth listened and relayed my order to the Chef Corey. He absolutely nailed it. I had the smashed burger with tomatoes, raw onion, mayo, pickles and cooper cheese. I like my hamburg well with no pink. Elizabeth confirmed that I wanted no pink. It was perfect. I think that was my second best burger I've had from a Restaurant.

Andrew was the host. Very nice. He wipes down the tables when customers leave. He takes this pandemic seriously and disinfected the tables better than any other restaurants I go to.

We're here again tonight 8/6/20. I've been thinking about that burger. I ordered the burger again. The Chef Corey cooked it perfect as ordered. Corey nailed it again! I ordered the same as above. Andrew was the host again and was great. Same as my prior review. We had a new Waitress Natasha. She's been there only 4 days. She was great. Very aware of all her tables and checking in frequently without hovering.

Went the other night 9/20. We had Anna as a waitress and Ben was the Chef. Everyone nailed it again.

All the above we sat outside on High St. Someday we will feel safe to eat inside after covid.

We visited by accident searching for parking to eat. What a find. Off the beaten path in downtown.
The best clam chowder we have ever had... WOW. I tasted my wifes chowder and added to my meal.
This is run by a real chef not just a cook. A great beer to accompany my meal.
Shrimp and Chorizo tacos with an unbelievable sauce... Brilliant!
Did I say we liked it? Oh and nice outdoor deck without the traffic on the next street ...

Rudi's is a great spot to grab a drink or to go on a date. It's got plenty of room for social distancing too.
Even on a slow night, there was a great atmosphere, drinks, and food.
There's a bar in the front and the back with top shelf alcohol. On a busy night before covid, this place must have been packed!
The food was delicious, and the menu provides diverse culinary selections. The mussels and cauliflower hummus were exquisite. I didn't break the bank either.

Love Rudi's. Excellent food, stellar service, best atmosphere. Thanks to the pianist, our dinner was accompanied by live music, so nice. Not at all stuffy, but you feel special here.

The teriyaki glazed salmons belly appetizer was beyond. The best pork chop i had in years. Erica was an excellent server. Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. Definitely recommend.

Had dinner outside with family last night. Service was great. Lily our server was terrific and attentive. Everyones meal was a hit. Ceasar brussel sprouts and fried Calimari delicious. Fried chicken sandwith and shrimp and chirizo tacos were very tassty. Nice coktail menu too! Very convienient location in Portmouth with parking right there! Also stop into that cute Italian kitchen store Attezzi right around the corner. We will be back soon!

Rudi's is our favorite spot in town for everything from a special occasion, date night, drink at the bar, apps, or lunch with a friend. We've been going there for years. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. The menu changes seasonally. They have awesome cocktails and a great wine list. Highly recommend - especially the burgers, fries, mussels, and whatever iteration of mac & cheese is currently on the menu. Tom on the bar is the best!

We've been to Rudi's a couple of times during restuarant week. Always great. This particular time we came in June and was not disappointed. My water cup was never empty, thank you. The fried brie was so good. I was able to cut the filet with a butter knife. We had originally chosen a table but asked to move due to loud neighbors and this was not a problem to the waitstaff. Close to a parking garage as well.

Stumbled to this place for brunch. Best thing about it was mimosas and live jazz music.

Food and service was amazing, such creative choices. We were with a large group, so we were able to see almost all the different selections. Unique drink and dessert menu. Would usually be out of our price range, but so worth it!!!

Some of the best corned beef hash I've had. I wasn't mad at the 5 dollar bloody special either 😉 elegant atmosphere and jasmine was a great server. Definitely going to come back next time I'm in town!

Best burgers in Portsmouth paired with a great draft list in the back bar. Hidden gem for these items for sure. Thom is the manager and usually is bartending out back. Amazing beer recommendations and fantastic service.

Went to Rudi's for my company holiday party. It was a catered affair, so haven't had a sit down meal there, but the food was excellent, staff was very polite, and the drinks were well made. Would highly recommend.
