CR's The Restaurant

CR’s is one of our most favored restaurants. Beautiful, lush interior and dimmed lighting makes for great ambiance. Thursday nights experience was a bit off for us. We were happy to have Lisa for our server. A loyal employee there some 9 years. We shared two sautéed crab cakes and Oyster Rockefeller. The delivery person failed to inform us the oysters were atop rock salt and not bread crumbs as we thought, soon spitting out the briny substance. The crab cakes were generous, lump and delicious. The arugula side was good. It took awhile for the Crispy Salmon to arrive. That’s fine, it was a special occasion and we were in no hurry. It was nicely cooked atop fried slabs of polenta, the zucchini pasta and sautéed tomatoes. It all worked together well. The Chicken Piccata was nicely sautéed but lacked the proper butter/lemon ratio. It cried for lemon flavor. Strawberry Shortcake completed our dining experience. It was an off-night but we love the place and will return again.

I really like fish piccata, and they made this unbelievable modification to the chicken piccata.

Cozy, Warmth place. Their wine selection is excellent so is their food options. Great place for group dinners.

Found this hidden gem by accident while searching for dinner on the ride to Maine. Loved the ambience especially the bar. Friendly staffs. Wide selections of drinks.
Had the Seared Rare Tuna and it was amazing!! Served with some tasty veggies and sweet potato. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner meal.

Outstanding dining experience! My party was pleased with the service & atmosphere! Menu is changing occasionally, it would be helpful if it had markings for dishes that are vegetarian. My pea sarde( if I remember the name correct) was absolutely delicious! Cheesecake mousse & cappuccino for desert!

We were very pleased with our first visit to CRs. The menu was a variety is choices. We had the NY Strip (very well cooked),scallops, and Tuna, everyone enjoyed their meal. Entrees seems to range in the $20-30 range, which we thought was reasonable given the food quality. We will for sure be back

High ceilings and yet still cozy particularly with the fireplace. Lisa was an excellent and knowledgeable server. Perfectly timed and beautiful presentations. The flavors were fantastic. Very enjoyable evening out!

Loved it here... Great ambience, great people, and great food and drinks. Well worth the drive, we will be back. Make reservations early, it was sold out while we were there, and for good reason.

Another outstanding meal at CR’s. Service here is outstanding. We have the pleasure of having Chris and Alida at tables and Kevin at the bar the last 5 weekends. Ever dish is off the charts. This is where my girlfriend and I go for the atmosphere, food , and drink! Bill

Our first time here and celebrating an anniversary. 💑💕A lovely experience. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. I had the crispy skin salmon and my husband had the fillet. Very good. We'll be back for another special occasion or just because it was so good. 👍👍

In the past few months, EVERY time my fiancé and I went out for dinner at various places on the seacoast was less than stellar. Last night at CR’s was spectacular. From the ease of making reservations online, to the drool inducing breading pudding- absolutely wonderful. It was for both of our birthdays and the lovely blonde woman who seated us made sure to ask whose birthday it was. As did our server. Now the food was hands down AMAZING. But what truly made the experience was our server (I kept the receipt bc I’m terrible at remembering names.) Jaenam. He truly made our night. So friendly and pleasant. He even offered to take a photo of us when the dessert came out. And he didn’t hover, make us feel rushed or make us feel as if we weren’t being attended to. He was amazing. Truly. It’s hard to find a place where every aspect was a 10/10. Thank you all - from the pleasant blonde hostess, to the chef and especially to Jaenam. Thank YOU! We will be back very soon!!

First time dropping in. Staff is very friendly, lovely decor inside, inviting. We happened to arrive at Happy Hour, 4 - 6. Food and drinks were excellent, nice selection of local craft beers. Would recommend.

This was my group second year going there to celebrate Christmas. Both times are experience was amazing. Our server Sean was on point he took very good care of us all We were a large group he didn't rush us we laughed the service was great The food was great the entire staff was great We just had a great time We will definitely be back again next year

Great experience. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, with a nice bar area (with a fireplace) and dining area. We thought the decor and lights were very nice. The food and cocktails were delicious. Service was excellent, also. There was a great duo singing, adding to a lively atmosphere. We'll be back!

A different find just off the highway in Hampton. Drive slow or you'll drive right past it! Nice wait staff. Enjoyed mini popovers and a beet salad. Their Hostess was helpful in capturing a photo for and of us as we left. TY to all.

Hard to say this but 10 out of 10.
The food is so delicious. The sait and pepper on many tables looks as if the chef is great at his job.

Great experience! The food was deliciously prepared & the service was great. The ambience is comfortable and warm. We went on new years eve and we never felt rushed or crushed, very comfortable. Definitely stop in and try the food & drinks.

Always a wonderful experience at CRs. It is a lovely atmosphere with comfortable seating, a darker ambiance and is not noisy even when busy. We enjoyed the live acoustic music as well. We started our meal with a great glass of sauvignon blanc and a dirty martini, salads and freshly baked bread. Main course, I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection, set on a fresh spring pea puree and topped with lightly fried scallions. My husband had shrimp in a delicious house made red sauce a top a scratch-made bed of lasagna noodles. We finished off our meal with Chocolate Crémeux...a chocolate french custard and whipped cream. Our server was attentive and very personable. It was a delightful evening. Can't wait to go back again soon!

This restaurant shows a professionalism that reflects a long history of providing a superior dining experience to its customers. The server was attentive and charming without being obtrusive (thank you, Autumn!). The atmosphere was New Hampshire Lake House beautiful. The apps were well prepared. I ordered the veal chop, which was beautiful to look at, and tasted divine, with a lovely mushroom brandy sauce. My co-diners ordered scallops or duck breast. They reported those to be first class. I would recommend this restaurant heartily to anyone who would like a great dining experience while in the Hampton area.

Superb meal for 4! Great atmosphere and service! We will definitely be back.
