Very professional. I ordered a book to arrive and I was sent an email as well as received a phone call to inform me of pick-up availability. Kind and laid back atmosphere. I love that they have events with authors and even poetry readings. I myself am in the works of creating a children’s book and saw they support local Lincoln authors; so fingers crossed.

Did you read about a cool book in The New Yorker or The Atlantic? Or hear an intriguing interview with an author on NPR? If so, this is the local, independent bookstore that probably has it displayed in their window. If they don't have it in stock, they can get it for you super fast. It's a cozy bookstore that'll remind you of The Shop Around the Corner or Meg Ryan's bookstore in You've Got Mail. I love buying books here.

A truly magical bookshop! I felt transported as soon as I walked in - loved the selection, excellent mix of local authors, popular favorites and unique finds I haven’t seen anywhere else. The children’s section was especially well curated and just really lovely. I’m so happy that I happened upon this special place today.

Visited for the first time today - what a gem of a bookstore. Chatted with Leslie Huerta, the owner, while looking around. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Great addition to our downtown and to Lincoln in general. 10/10 - highly recommend. I'll be revisiting soon. Cheers

My boyfriend and I love this little bookstore. Leslie, the owner, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about different books. The unique artwork was interesting, as well. This is a fun experience! We'll be back!!

I came across Fancie & Finch while searching, because there are no independently owned bookshops in my area, so I at least wanted to keep my money in the state. The staff is great; helpful and friendly. They've always offered to help me find books they didn't have in stock, and their ability to ship from their warehouse gives me access to a huge selection that I otherwise wouldn't in the panhandle. I've made a few orders over the past year or so, and will absolutely continue to do so.

Fantastic independent bookseller/bookstore with a truly interesting selection of books, a great children's section, and cool author talks/book signings! Wish I had stopped in years ago!

Best bookstore in a long time.
Leslie, the owner, is pleasant and helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The store has a busy schedule of book-signings and readings and special events.
Attended a Mari Sandoz book club there tonight.
Make sure you don't miss this gem.

I read a lot of books on my phone or Nook tablet, but I still love the feel and smell of a real, printed book. I also tend to heavily favor science fiction. At Francie & Finch, however, I've been experimenting with just grabbing the first couple of books on display that catch my eye. So far, I've ended up with a several novels, a couple of graphic novels, and a collection of short stories, and have really enjoyed all of them. It's almost like someone there is putting a lot of thought and effort into selecting their stock. I haven't been back to Barnes & Nobel since I found this store; it's my new favorite bookstore.

We are regular customers here. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Their selection is decent for a smaller bookshop. The store is well-organized and easy to browse. The store is quiet, although they just acquired a new shop puppy. Prices are normal for a small-business bookstore. I recommend them.

I'd been following Francie & Finch on social media for over a year before I finally made it into the store. And once in there, I couldn't get out. It's a very quaint bookstore filled with a rather large selection of books. I was impressed by the variety of the books they had in stock. As an auntie of nine nieces and nephews I was looking for more books in the holiday section, but they could have been picked over too. My first experience was lovely and I'm certain I'll be going back again. The staff and Rosie (the shop pup) are fabulous!

What a nice place. Full of pretty new books. The woman working there helped me pick out a book for my friend’s kid. Also, one time I ordered a book for a present. Then when it came in I had come down with Covid. They were nice enough to take my payment over the phone and for a small charge, mailed it to the person I wanted it to go to. They even gift-wrapped it!

Great place to buy a book! Really comfortable and cozy. It was my first time there but I will definitely be back when in need of a book. A local author was signing his book and the bookseller was very accommodating and friendly. Great place to pickup a gift downtown.

Shops like this really tug at my heartstrings. This is a small indie book store, downtown and off the beaten path. As you review the inventory you realize how deliberate the owner's offerings are. Not a lot of stock, yet plenty of choices. I always find something good to bring home with me. I often wonder how shops like this one can survive but I am glad they do.

Nice small bookstore in a beautiful historic building. They had a great selection of books to choose from for younger readers so it was a good place to gifts for my nieces.

Always a pleasure to stop by and browse amazing new books here, many by local authors. Leslie is a true Lincoln treasure, organizing so many local events as well. The shop even has a resident Rosie dog now too! What's not to love?
