Rosa Rodrigo DVM

Dr. Rodrigo was amazing with our dog Homer. He performed TPLO surgery. He went above and beyond in my opinion. Really took the time to explain the procedure and results and what to expect during the surgery, as well as the recovery process. Our dog is super nervous and hates having to go to the vet. He is not very cooperative but Dr. Rodrigo took the time to get to know Homer & treated his fear as just that fear and not because he is an aggressive dog (which he is not). Dr. Rodrigo would text and check in after the surgery and was always available via text message with any questions or concerns we had. We have never had that experience before. I would highly recommend Dr. Rodrigo. I cannot say enough good things about him.

We saw Dr. Rosa when my dog of 10 years needed his spleen removed because he has a large mass. Dr. Rosa was amazing. He sat me down and went over everything I needed to know and what to expect. When my dog had problems, like scratching off some staples, Dr. Rosa responded right away and told us what to do. He made himself available for an office visit the same day to take a look at my good boy. He gave me a phone number to text him anytime with questions, concerns, and I could even show him pictures of things I was worried about. He always responded and it gave me so much peace of mind. He even responded to me on a Saturday too, it was so nice.

Unfortunately my dog was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Rosa went through all of our options. He was kind enough to go through everything with me two different times because I was too sad to retain the information the first time. He is so kind and caring. He is also very professional and knowledgeable. He went over recent studies about what the best treatment options were for my dog. Even though we are extremely sad with my dogs diagnosis we are happy that everything was done in the best interest good boy and that we are in good hands with Dr. Rosa. If my other dog ever needed surgery I wouldn't hesitate for one minute to go with Dr. Rosa again.

I have gone to Dr Rosa DVM for my Labrador Fred for 10 years since he was a pup! When my dog needed surgery my husband and I were more than thrilled with Dr Rosa’s treatment of our dog Fred before , during and after surgery . He was a true professional and more than being a skilled veterinarian, he truly loves animals and keeping them healthy . Many times he reached out to hear of Fred’s progress and his estimate of cost rang true ! I knew our beloved pet was in competent hands , thank goodness we have him in Bedford NH

Dr Rosa performed a laparoscopic spay on my dog and did a fantastic job. We met during COVID so were never able to connect face-to-face but he made me feel comfortable throughout the process. He was clear about what to expect and very caring in his follow up. My dog recovered very easily. Highly recommend.

Our Mastiff mix recently had a TPLO performed by Dr. Rosa and the staff at VCA DW Animal Hospital. Dr. Rosa and the entire staff have been caring, knowledgable and attentive to our pet and we are so very thankful for Daniel Webster Animal Hospital. Dr. Rosa is wonderful. He recently performed a laparoscopic spay on our 1 yr. old Griffon Wirehaired Pointer, Greta.

Most vet clinics in the area do not offer this minimally invasive approach to spaying and neutering pets and, if they do, the cost is triple that of the standard method. We felt Greta received the best treatment possible while paying a reasonable amount for the service.

Dr. Rosa took the time to discuss the procedure, addressed any concerns and questions we had, and followed up multiple times to ensure Greta was experiencing a speedy recovery. Greta was back to her affectionate crazy self within 48 hours, with only two little incisions that did not require a follow-up appointment.

Dr. Rosa at the VCA was so helpful in prepping our pup for spay surgery, ensuring it went smoothly, and following up afterwards. He was extremely available and responsive to any questions or concerns that I had, and he always gave me legitimately helpful answers, thoughtful insight, and proactive solutions. I was soooo nervous about my pup getting surgery for the first time, but Dr. Rosa’s expertise and well-rounded care put me at ease. I would 100% recommend Dr. Rosa and the VCA for spay & neuter surgery— it is worth the cost.

Dr Rosa recently did a TPLO procedure for our 5 year old lab. We have been very impressed with the quality of care our dog received, as well as the attention to detail during his post operative recovery. Dr Rosa has been treating my fur babies ever since he arrived at Daniel Webster Animal Hospital/now VCA..my precious dogs and cats, thru regular visits, emergency visits and surgeries...I have the utmost confidence in him. Always goes out of his way to explain everything and listen completely to what I’m explaining. He is thorough, very gentle, kind and understanding. I highly recommend him to anyone with their pets, as well as Dr Jenkins, his wife and the entire staff at VCA Daniel Webster. I’ve been going there since it was a little green house years ago and still recieve the best treatment and care for my pets!

We noticed our 9 year old Cocker Spaniel was limping and favoring his left leg in January, 2020. Went to VCA to get it looked at and x-rays did not show anything and it was recommended to watch and wait. The panademic hit and our watch and wait approach extended into April where new x-rays showed a torn ACL. I was referred to Dr. Rosa, the in-house surgeon for TPLO surgery. Upon my first interaction with Dr. Rosa, he was informative and supportive to this dog mom. He sent multiple links regarding the injury that Remy had suffered as well as the what the surgery would entail and any ongoing care that may be necessary. I felt he wanted me to have as much information to make informed decisions regarding Remy's care. He kept in touch via text messaging and never delayed in his response to my questions. The day of surgery went extremely smooth and when we went to pick Remy up, Dr. Rosa had a phone conference before leaving the hospital. Dr. Rosa then proceeded to reach via text day and night over the next 3 days inquiring about Remy's recovery.

The surgery happened on June 4th and today (6/27/20) I had to reach out to Dr. Rosa regarding a side effect to the medication Remy is currently taking. He immediately prescribed an antibiotic to help the situation. When I mentioned that we were on vacation an hour from home, his response was is there a CVS or Walgreens close to you. To finish this review, he called the Walgreens near me and within an hour of my original text, I had Remy's new prescription. I can't say enough about how impressed I am by Dr. Rosa's diligence, professionalism and commitment to his four legged patients and their human parents. I highly recommend VCA Daniel Webster, Dr. Rosa, and Dr. Tela for anything you or your pets may need.

Dr. ROSA has done 2 ccl surgeries on my dog. Him and his team took the best care of my Sierra. They communicated with me every step of the way. DR ROSA was available to text any time I needed him, always was a quick response to all my questions.

Dr. Rosa performed a TPLO on my yellow lab Winnie. I can not say enough good things about his communication with me as well as his care for Winnie. He is VERY responsive to any questions or concern about instructions following the procedure via the portal they use. Not only was he timely, he was also there for me even when he wasn’t in the office to make sure I could get Winnie in to see a provider even well after the procedure (8weeks). The outcome of the procedure was phenomenal and I trust him with the remainder of any care that Winnie may need in the future.

Dr. Rosa is outstanding and receives my highest recommendation. He performed two TPLO procedures on our PWD with excellent results. Dr. Rosa is a fantastic surgeon and excellent communicator -- 5 stars all around.

My frenchie Loo had he’s nares done by Dr Rosa, unbelievable work, kindness. Loo had a stomach upset & everyone at VCA Daniel Webster Vets took such great care of him. The support Loo & I got was awesome!!
