I love this little store with a big selection of plants, eclectic gifts, cards and other fun odds and ends. It feels good to shop local and you can tell great care is put into selecting their offerings. They also have a generous loyalty program for frequent shoppers.

I fell in love with this store on Halloween of 2021! I didn’t return until January 2022. I have purchased plants from this amazing small town business twice so far. I have not been disappointed once! The atmosphere is amazing and so comfortable. I’m a busy mom of 3 and I decided to place and online order. It was easy, simple and super fast. The selection of the plants is amazing and they are super healthy. I did curbside pick up but could not resist waking in! My order was ready and handed to me by the shop owner and I was distracted by the beautiful display of new plants that have arrived! I will keep supporting this small town business! Absolutely magical!

This store has the most amazing air plants and gifts. The staff is so kind and helpful. It is my go to for gifts for my favorite people and for special occasions!

What I love most about this shop is that many items are designed, fabricated, and assembled by the owners themselves! Their ingenuity blows me away.

During the spring quarantine, I bought tangrams and handwriting practice boards for my nieces and nephew. I also received a cool surprise gift bag from a friend. Seriously, if you need a gift for someone or a little something for yourself, stop by and be amazed by how much they have to offer.

I love shopping local and I especially want everything local in Alton to succeed. This shop has such unique gifts and such a great team who have worked with me to make Christmas so special. I had key chains with the actual signatures of my father and father-in-law with their favorite sayings for my kids. It stopped Christmas. Last year I had individual pencils engraved for each kid - they all laughed and loved them. This year - hope they don't see this - I have the hand grenade hot sauces tucked away along with magnets for their stockings. Aimee has helped me reproduce a family tree I found hidden in a box. Love this store and the people who work there. Actually got a great recommendation for a Thai restaurant. They do it all!!!

Such a wonderful little addition to Alton. I had a custom ornament made and Catchpenny had it done in no time at all and the design was beautiful! The store is filled with unique gift ideas. Looking forward to using the printing company as well. Definitely worth dropping in!

Catchpenny is a hidden gem in our little town! Aimee is always great to talk to and makes some really great products. She created a beautiful custom Lake Winnipesaukee cribbage board for me to give as a gift. Her work is incredible! Support local businesses!

Catchpenny is a hidden gem in downtown Alton. There is something for everyone in this store: delicious candy/ chocolates, funky cards, planners, pens, note pads, wares from local artists ( soaps, lotions, pottery, etc), eclectic stickers, unique coasters, drinks are etc. I do not have a green thumb but there is no shortage of plants and plant related items here as well. I've always been warmly greeted by staff and have always left with some type of purchase.

I believe in supporting local and strongly encourage anyone a stop in this wonderful store or online!

I am definitely not a bread baker, but I bought Catchpenny’s Soberdough cheesy garlic bread mixture. All it needed to mix in was a can of beer and a cup of grated cheese.
It was delicious! And unusual; not something I had ever seen before.
Next time I will try the green chili and cheddar version.

Repurposed home furnishings cute shop friendly owners. Staff is super friendly Jacob is very knowledgeable. They have very unique and original nic nac items. Ask about what they can do with their laser cutter.
