Grasshoppers Garden Center

I LOVE shopping at Grasshoppers for flowers, gifts, vegetables and food from local vendors! I can't wait to plant all of my new perennials! The people who work at Grasshoppers are all so friendly and helpful! :)

Stopped in today to check out the place, what a cool little general store! Kara was super helpful with all my questions. She said christmas trees would be in soon too. Definitely gonna come back to check that out. Great selection of local items and local ice cream and meats!

We’ve gotten our Christmas tree here 2 years now and can’t say enough! The staff is pleasant and helpful. Charming gifts in the store.

I called to get a Christmas tree delivered and what transpired was some of the most authentic and wonderful customer service I've experienced. They took pictures of a few trees that matched the size I wanted and texted them to me so that I could choose one. Without an upselling vibe at all, they mentioned that they do deliver locally sourced food as well. I was very interested because access to this stuff has been limited due to COVID. While on the phone we basically did a tour of the store and I got to pick items I was interested in and they were great with recommendations. The deliver of everything was quick and the delivery person, while masked etc, was super friendly.

I highly recommend this place for your gardening needs as well as a nice stop for a lot of great New England sourced food and drink (good beer and coffee selection).

Great place. Stopped in last week and walked away with a bunch of goodies. Expanded the inside to include a wide variety of local treats and gifts. The organic sausage was AMAZING. Planning on stopping in to get some for Memorial Day. Check it out!

Awesome people!!! I bought a lavender plant and it lived! I always have a difficult time growing them so this is exciting for me. Our Pomfrey is also doing exceptionally well. Thank you so much for a very positive experience. 😃

I had a small 25' ornamental plum tree that died over the winter and I was looking for someone to take the tree down, get rid of the stump and plant another tree in it's place. I had called several tree companies and they were either not interested enough to call me back or the job was too small for them. I finally started calling landscapers/nurseries and when i called Grasshoppers, they set up an appointment right away. Jon came out , looked at the job and said he had a tree service he used and he would plant the new tree. within two weeks Boisvert Tree Service drove up to my house. Half an hour later the tree was down, fed into the chipper and the stump ground up. Grasshoppers crew was there the next day and planted our new tree and repaired the landscaping so you would never know anything had occurred at that site.

Great service, great new tree and the price was what we had agreed upon. I would be glad to deal with Grasshoppers anytime I need my yard needs something done to make it look better.

Had to buy a last minute christmas gift so we went in. Quaint little shop that has gifts food, ice cream and even beers. Loved it.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff with a great selection of garden supplies. There's also a nice selection of local meats and dairy...the smoked pepper jack cheese is great!

Beautiful garden center. Well worth the drive up from the southern border. Local farm raised meats and produce as well.
