Very pretty WMA. Lots of American Ginseng. Also lots of bear sign. And while it's difficult to say exactly how big said bears are from sign alone, it is possible to determine it isn't a cub any longer. Keep your dogs on leash. And for the love of Winne The Pooh, bring bug spray. All of it.

It took me awhile to find the entrance to this place but I moved the pin to the parking lot. I only walked around for about an hour but plan to check it out again this summer. There is a trail along the woods, and some narrow game trails through the woods. I saw a pheasant, ducks and cranes. I'm guessing they recently did a prescribed burn on the prairie area near the parking lot.

Took a while to get to the parking area, was abit of a challenge finding it. Unable to get to some parts of the WMA without crossing privet land. Lots of deer stands on the edge of fields over looking the WMA land.
