UNL Dairy Store

Deliscious ice cream at the Nebraska University East Campus. I had the strawberry vanilla shake, and my son had the cookies and cream. The ice cream was very rich and flavorful, great for the summer heat.

Been here 8 years ago when I was a grad student, now it is much better than before. More icecream choice great smoothie

A must-to go-to experience for anyone visiting the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and some of the best ice cream in the area! Beware of what cup-size of ice cream you get, 'cause you will get double of what you order (nice!). The products that you will find at the UNL Dairy Store are made at the University itself - most, if not all, in the same building... and during regular hours, you can even see some of these items being made! You won't only find ice cream here also - you can also find cheese, cookies, milk, milkshakes, drinks - many/most things dairy. It's a real cool place on a hot summer's day, so I highly recommend the Dairy Store with their custom flavors - you won't regret it!

This is one of the hidden gems of the East AG Campus of the University of Nebraska. It’s right off of 37th and Holdrege St. easy access. They have been making ice cream since 1917! Boy O Boy have they figured out how to make ice cream. It is soooo good. Creamy and smooth with great flavor. Forget any diet guilt and just enjoy the experience.

Great ice cream! Searching for places to eat as we traveled, noticed this name, The Dairy Store. Have gone to Michigan State's Dairy Store when there, so we had to try Nebraska's. A real treat... coming from a dairy farmer's daughter!!! Well worth the stop!

UNL Dairy Store has perfectly detail-oriented. They not only have outstanding flavor but also great presentation. Each scoop is presented with care and artistry, frequently decorated with tasty toppings or elegant drizzles. Both the sight and the taste buds are treated to a feast.

The ice cream is always delicious! This time I enjoyed coffee crunch, however all flavors I've tried in the past are tasty!

They now sell gift boxes of their cheeses...I can't wait to try them!

Looking for great ice cream, this is the place. Variety of ice cream, with your cone of choice, or dish. They also have cheese and containers of ice cream to take home. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere nice seating area. The only downside is parking, but beautiful area is worth the walk.

I keep forgetting about the UNL ice cream place. It’s so good and all local from the schools resources. Make it a stop!

The ice cream here is simply amazing... Definitely worth the destination! Couldn't get any fresher since it is made right there. My all-time favorite is the scarlet and cream... Vanilla ice cream with strawberry swirls. It is the creamiest, most decadent, smoothest ice cream you will ever have. The flavor is amazing as well. It is the best place ever to go have ice cream. Nice variety as well.

Went here twice over the weekend - lots of flavors, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. The black walnut fudge ice cream is always good (and I believe is a flavor they always have available), and I tried the sweet corn ice cream for the first time and really enjoyed it!

This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves *real* ice-cream. It’s hand-made on-site and so, so good! Generous portions, unique flavors, and friendly student workers too!

Enjoying a Husker Crunch Sundae, and Butter brickle waffle cone on a beautiful Nebraska Sunday afternoon!

We went there yesterday in a rainy afternoon, got two waffle ice creams, mocha chocolate chip and birthday cake. They were really big, waffle was crispy and tasty. The mocha chocolate was just traditional chocolate, delicious but not interesting. However, the birthday cake one was really great!

My wife graduated with her Masters and we had to stop in for one last taste. Lots of options and it was all good. Can't go wrong with the cheese and sausage options either.

Great ice cream! I highly recommend that students from city campus make their way over to east campus just for the ice cream alone. I had a dish of chocolate ice cream with butterfingers and I thought it was great. My friend had a cone with strawberry and mint chocolate chip and he was also very impressed.

Always great flavors and atmosphere. I love the remodel they've done.
