Both Ron and Bob are extremely helpful and knowledgable. They helped me pick out a great racket and their demo option is really great! Can't recommend this place enough for anything tennis related.

I really enjoyed stopping at this place. I bought my first tennis racquet and Bob walked me through everything. He even gave me some tips on strokes. I will definitely come back for a restring and any other racquet sport needs I may have.

People, go to this store. Usually you get much better deals online than in stores these days, but this place is a huge exception to that. Not only are the prices much cheaper than online for tennis equipment, but you also get actual service like you got back in the day.

They have a loner racket for just about every racket that they sell so they’ll loan it out to you for however long you need it for so you can see if that’s the right racket for you. I borrowed 3 or 4 rackets over a month or so before deciding on my racket, and when I finally bought mine it was about $20 cheaper than anywhere online and they gave me free strings and strung it for me for no charge as well. They never pressured me to pull the trigger on a racket, they just wanted to make sure I had the right racket for my game. I’m sure I could’ve spent two more months sampling every racket they had, and even when I thought I knew what I wanted they had me test another similar racket to the one I liked just to make sure.

Financially they easily could’ve charged me $70 more dollars between the price of the racket, strings, and labor, plus charged me $5-10 per testing of each racket, or made me put down a deposit, but nothing was needed other than a handshake and enthusiasm for the sport. That’s how it should be, and I hope they never change.

My family conducted business like this for over fifty years and it was refreshing to find that this seemingly unassuming store was so impressive both financially and personally. These people love what racket sports and love what they do and it shows. I’d pay just for their service, and that’s saying something because I’m rather frugal. Do yourself and the community a favor by supporting this business, it couldn’t be a better deal.

Dropped off 2 rackets for strings on Friday morning and they were both ready before 5 pm that night. I'm very grateful for the friendly customer service.

What a couple of amazingly helpful, genuine dudes. Recently getting back into tennis after years and years not playing, and these guys were great letting me try a few demo rackets and offering plenty of sound advice.

Ever since coming to Lincoln, NE, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a tennis store that has the supplies I would need and be a place I would love to come back to.

Fortunately, the Racquet Corner does a great job at fitting both of those issues; it is a smallish store that contains a wide variety of racquets, shoes, accessories, and apparel which are all reasonably priced. I've come from the east coast where they charged an arm, leg and your first baby to buy a decent racquet, however there is a nice selection of used racquets from big name brands like Babolat, Wilson, and more (eg a Babolat Pure Strike was an example of a racquet I spied there in the bin) for $90 or less along the back wall. Also, the shoes that I need are cheaper (including tax) than if I bought them from the original makers (New Balance) at their retail store, which is impressive to say the least.

The staff (especially Ron) are knowledgeable and nice folks that go out of their way to help customers. Ron (the owner I believe) helped me out with several matters and fields all of my questions without reproach. Another example of the great service was when I overheard an older worker helping a high schooler and his family choose his brand new racquet to start off his new year on the school team. He did an excellent job explaining what goes into the selection of a racquet (weight, head size, the type of frame, etc.) that would be unique for that person, and was able to match the young man to a racquet similar to the one he used previously without needing a reference.

Overall, top notch store for materials and friendly service, will keep coming back to get all of my tennis needs fulfilled.

TL;DR - Great service and selection at affordable prices; spend your money here.
