Had an eye issue and Dr. Palmer was able to squeeze me in right away! He was very patient, polite and helpful in caring for my eye needs! Highly recommended the facility!

Dr. Palmer is very knowledgeable and takes time with you and can explain the science behind what he sees. We have also called him after hours and on a weekend and he has always responded immediately and resolved our situation. One can tell that Dr. Palmer loves what he does and cares about his patients. This office has integrity and provides excellent care.

I have taught future health care professionals at several universities for three decades so I know a good one when I see one: Disregard negative comments on-line: Dr. Palmer is thorough, conservative when there is no need for additional tests, and appropriately cautious when further advanced diagnostics is needed. His staff is always helpful and courteous. In the many years I have come to his office, only once did I have a problem when the bridge of a German-made frame did not hold (of course not the office's fault); but they kept sending it back until the factory got it right at no extra cost to me.

Ignore the low ratings...those people are the competition. Great care and service. Very patient with me ...I should know, I can be very tiring for healthcare people! I would recommend without hesitation. Doctor is up on and uses latest tech that caught diagnosis mistakes of my last 3 exams! I'm moving out of state, but I will be coming back to this guy and my other Omaha care providers every 6-12 months. He passes my very high standards.

my appointment went very smoothly, and all my questions were answered. they give you a call when your contacts and glasses are ready to picked up. the wait time is not long at all, and everything gets done quickly! highly recommend!

Many moons ago my first grade teacher spilled the beans to my mom that I was squinting every time I was looking at the chalk board. My parents lugged me down to a big box store in Omaha and I feared a dreaded nightmare of mine was about to materialize: I was going to have to get glasses and people would be calling me "Four-Eyes" or "Poindexter" for the rest of my days. However, it was that day that I met an eye doctor I don't remember. I don't remember his name, his face, or his voice. But what I do remember, very distinctly, is how he made me feel. He made me feel like getting glasses was like being given a super power. I walked out of there like I'd been exposed to gamma rays and was able to climb walls or turn green to save the day. What could have been a dark day in my childhood is a bright shining memory.
I tell you that story to give you background of why I am delighted with Dr. Palmer at Blair Eye Associates. You see, with my wife and I both wearing glasses, I figured it would be inevitable my children would too. And yes, the day came when I too was a parent ready to buy my kiddo a new pair of spectacles. But instead of going to the big box store, we decided to choose somewhere local because we'd heard how personable they are. And are they ever! We are so thankful our kids had such a great experience and were so excited to try on glasses. They want them all! Many kudos and thanks to Dr. Palmer and Team for their kindness and for helping to creating shining childhood moments. Someday my kids will look back and smile just like I am, still feeling like a superhero.
