Recently had a gaming PC built for a client Linx8 did a phenomenal job! Exceptional service would highly recommend premium custom gaming PC set up spot!

Update: 1 year later I came back for apple computer repair. Computer suddenly started working and they ran a free diagnostic anyway. Really great and trustworthy people not just looking to make a quick dollar. They really seem to care about their customers. Definitely my go-to now!

Fixed my iPhone charging port in about a day for $50. Highly recommend!

Got my 2012 Mac serviced here within a week after being unable to boot up. Service was great and staff was very helpful, would go here again for any future Macintosh issues.

The staff at this establishment are extremely nice, and completed my repair on my computer screen within 2 days of dropping it off. Also, as a Rutgers student, they gave me a discount, and the screen works perfectly. I came to them after wasting a month waiting for best buy to repair my screen, who then didn't repair my screen and sent it back broken and tinkered with. The technicians at this place were so helpful, worked extremely quick, and were able to do a repair that best buy couldn't.

I first came into contact with Linx8 when I needed to buy various wires and cords for some of my electronics. They always had exactly what I needed at a great price. When I had a broken iPod classic, I brought it into them and they gave me a free diagnostic on it. They told me that it wasn't worth fixing considering I could buy a new one for the same price. I appreciate the honesty. Just recently, I brought in my PC because of some problems it had. They were quick in diagnosing it, helpful throughout every interaction, quick in fixing it and finally reasonable in price. Highly recommend them. Great all around.

Highly recommended for any laptop issues. Mr. Ali fixed issues with 2 laptops - replace fan on one & SSD on another. Professional approach, with time taken to diagnose issue, send options with estimates.
Customers are kept updated with text/email updates; delivery date is met. Overall fully satisfied with experience. Glad to have such a store close by to fix issues. Great service from Kyle/Neil as well.

I went in to fix my laptop touchscreen, which had thick black lines all over and was making it hard to see anything. They fixed it in a couple days and even then it only took that long because they had to wait for the new screen. They were very friendly and I thought that the service was fairly priced. Plus they offer a 10% discount to Rutgers students!

The service here is amazing and fast! I started coming here when they first opened and had a pleasant experience. I had a cracked screen recently on my Dell computer and they had the part and fixed it the same day within 2 hours. You can't ask for anything better. And the owner is so nice and the staff, very knowledgeable. Even if I moved out the area, I will drive to come here for my computer needs. They are the best!

Fantastic service & shop; I'm a regular. In one instance I ordered the wrong replacement keyboard for my laptop, and they SAWED IT DOWN to make it fit. They also sold me an awesome refurbished put-in-their-own-parts desktop at a great price, then researched & installed a new "low-profile" video card when I needed one for gaming. They're quick, competent, & creative.

(Should add that I'm a PC user, as I see that most of the other reviews related to Macs.)

The Linx8 team not only fixed my laptop, but also made the entire experience friendly and positive. The owner Ali is sincere and kind, and he has a passion for computers that is made evident in the work that he does. The other members of the team, Kyle, Tyler and Trevor, made me feel right at home while I was at the shop and I left with a feeling of assurance that my laptop was in great hands.

The power plug on my laptop was fixed smoothly and without any issues. Kyle was receptive to all of my concerns, and I found myself laughing and having a great time the day that I picked it up. Great staff! very knowledgeable. I was considering getting a more expensive HDD. Ali and his staff recommended a drive that was $100! less and I have been happy ever since. That was over 2 years ago and I've gone back to them with other machines ever since. A+ shop.

I have been a big fan of Linx8 since the day they moved to Highland Park. Its near impossible to find a decent Mac Repair place, let alone a spectacular one and I feel truly blessed that one opened walking distance from my house. The owner Ali, is one of the nicest gents that you will meet, he is also a superb computer repair person. He has replaced the Motherboard on my MacBook Pro and done some circuit work as well.

I have brought several Macs from him, and not only are his prices reasonable, he gives you a year warranty and totally backs up his service.

I have been dealing with computer repair places for over 20 years (going all the way back to the Amiga 2000!) Of all the places I have ever gone to, Linx8 is hands down the best. I heartily recommend them for all your Macintosh and computer needs.

I came here last year when my kitten destroyed my macbook retina display. And they were friendly and had my computer fixed within two days even though they had to order the part. They are very nice and professional.

I cant rave enough about my experience of working with Link8. I bought a laptop computer from them and months later when there was a slight problem, with no question or hesitancy, they honored the warrenty and repaired it and went above and beyond what was expected to set things up for me, guide me thru the workings and answer any of my questions. I am not a tech person and probably asked the same question 2 or 3 times. I worked with a man named Kyle and he had patience and experience and just hung in there going over step by step until I understood everything. I have called a few times and each time both Ali, the owner, and Kyle have been extremely helpful and very calm and patient walking me thru each point.I was never rushed out of the store or off the phone and only until I felt comfortable did they move on to the next point. I highly recommend buying computer things here and wouldnt go anywhere else.Both Kyle and Ali have made my tech experience painless and now a breeze to work. It was wonderful to work with a store that honors integrity and workshipship and truly puts the customer first !

Linx8 Computers did an awesome job of reviving my macbook pro. It suffered from water damage as well as physical damage prior to that but they managed to fix everything very well. I would highly recommend their service. Its great that they take complete responsibility of their work, you can go back to them if you feel your laptop is not functioning and they would continue to work and resolve problems till you are happy.

Linx 8 is definitely one of the best places I have ever been to for getting me started in the IT subject. You guys seem to do an excellent job working hard in your store, and you sell lots of computers, old and new, in many different brands including my favorite, Dell. You also repair computers in your store, and you seem to do a fantastic job making repairs at a good amount of time, and with excellent quality, you make all those customers happy. I have also noticed that you sell lots of accessories for not just computers, but also other devices as well, such as an iPad or iPhone. I would certainly say god bless you because you work so hard for long hours during the weekdays and Saturdays while making wonderful business. I sure hope to visit Linx 8 again soon.
