Mystic Lake Casino Hotel

First time visiting this casino and I love it. Feels like you have a fair chance of winning. Girlfriend and I played for hours of slots then hit the steakhouse which was nice cause we were celebrating valentines day late! Food was fantastic service 10/10 definitely coming back!

We were here for a company party and it was a wonderful experience! The event center is beautiful and has lots of room. If you're staying at the hotel, it's a faily long jaunt to the event center, so wear comfy shoes, otherwise it was a fantastic experience! The staff and bartenders at the event we went to were out of this world great! I'm not sure they were fully prepared for the group we were with, but the bar tenders did such an awesome job rolling with the punches and were super friendly too!

In the hotel room there were nice littler perks which I liked. They have extra towels already in the room too!

As far as the casino, I wish they still had some of the older games. Maybe an idea to have a retro room or something with only older games like Munsters and Mr. Lucky's fortune, etc. We did find a few interesting games, and we actually got to play for a while which was nice. Other casinos take your money right away which doesn't make it fun.

Would I go here again? Absolutely! The hotel was great, the valet was wonderful, the staff were nice and accommodating, the event center was perfect and you for sure feel welcome coming here.

It’s our first time here and my daughter and I had so much fun playing slots. I guess we were just lucky that day to keep finding slot machines that gave bonuses. We didn’t win a lot but it was the fun that mattered. I like the beverage area (soda and coffee) where you don’t have to wait for the server. You can just get it yourself. There was also a “slot dog. ” It’s a cart with hotdog sandwiches that goes around the casino. I don’t know if they were free. Food at the restaurant and food court was good. It has a lounge in the middle of the casino with comfortable chairs. The bathrooms are very clean! Excellent customer service! I can’t comment on the hotel since we didn’t stay there overnight.

The people and the services were great. Was there for a business convention.

Minnesota does things differently. But my favorite part was the s3x of the beach with cream, like who would have guessed the combo is so delicious - thank you to the bartenders have 1 too many.

Will definitely be back.

Best Casino in the area!!

Anytime we go to Mystic Lake, we have a great time. New Years is an absolute blast. Love seeing Good for Gary perform. Cosmic Bingo on Friday & Saturday nights is a lot of fun.

As someone who's sensitive to the smell of smoke, I greatly appreciate that it's smoking free. It makes going a lot more enjoyable and keeps me coming back. Everywhere is extremely clean.

Soda machines are difficult to locate, so I would appreciate more obvious signage or even arrows that point to where to go. It's really easy to get turned around when walking around Mystic on the casino floor.

Overall, I would highly recommend going here!!

After spending all weekend, thought I should do a review
We had a blast at the casino, but when we decided to go eat, found our options very limited, steak house, bar and grill all full, so we went to get a bite at the food court, very expensive, but worse, no place to even sit and eat, you definitely need to bring the buffet back, so many people, and just not enough places to eat! Our room was very nice, went to the johnny cash show, had a great weekend! Just need more dining options!

Spa was great! Was there for a relatively last minute stay, so not a ton of appointment or treatments available for 2 people at same time, but will definitely be planning hotel trips back around spa appointment availability.
Not a huge gambler, so can't comment on casino much other than clean & friendly, helpful employees.
Had basic hotel room, nothing amazing but clean, comfortable, and check-in & -out were a breeze.

This casino is beautiful and very well designed. Very big and great, huge, amazing wins. My family and I are having a great time

Mystic lake is a great casino regardless, if you win or lose that atmosphere is always the best, it's great to just walk around and enjoy this scenery or enjoy any of the other amenities they have to offer

The nighttime room cleaning gal was a sweetheart. SHE shared her banana with my puppy n gave us clean linens and coffee cups n whatever we needed . Awesome experience!

Very nice place super clean and comfortable rooms.
Smoke free environment inside. But does offer designated places to smoke.
The free coffee is delicious!

My partner and I went to Mystic for the first time since he moved to Minnesota. It was his birthday, so we decided to play slots. We both won immediately. I won enough that I received my $$ and 1099 right away. We were ecstatic and planned to go again soon. This time we'll book a room for a weekend. Cheers to winning!!!

Went on NYE and it was busier than I have ever seen it by a factor of at least 3. The bad: the bars were backed up terribly. The good: there were places to buy beer without standing in line. Machines were available the whole night.

Conveniently located near the city, but still have the Indigenous roots of the Sioux tribal nation values implemented into the building and displays. Had a great time, machines were tight at first but they came correct before we left haha, was a great experience for us.

Some customers are rude near the soda fountain machines, so Mystic Lake should just install a double.
But double the logistics, double the rudeness, not sure it will truly help, but something to keep track of ..

Food is good here, except fries - they’re disgustingly bad. Onion rings are a gem, but not all of them are fully cooked properly (power in them sometimes- gross).

Win big on major holidays and some left over for its upcoming weekend.
But don’t blow it all on luck.

Rooms are clean and bedding/ towels/ toiletries are good quality. If you stay on the promenade side, the rooms are more modern, newer and a little more pricier. However, the walk to the promenade side is not as convenient and is a longer walking than the original older side. They have a mini fridge in the rooms, but no microwave.

Loved the room was clean, and it was easy to get into, and I appreciate the staff for allowing me to be able to check in early. The price of a suite is a little spendier than it should be for a night. But I really enjoyed the room until 7am when I heard some kind of construction or work going on. Maybe don't work on something at 7am.

I've been coming here for 30 years, I'm not a big gambler and used to be able to find things to do or see for a couple hours while friends/family tried their luck at slots. Now there is really nothing to do but eat, play bingo or sit at the bar area and people watch.

Went with friends to play Bingo. Then enjoyed playing the slots. Had a lot of fun. Didn't win big but came home $76 dollars richer.

Was a great eye opening place. I'm so afraid for those who are addicted tho. How can some put it all on the line every paycheck stressed out. There needs to be a resource to notice a burn out or anxiety ridden customer. I'm not saying full blow gestapo but just a hey friend any luck? An u see despair say something like "maybe tonight's not the night an u should take the night off get rational" or comp them a room to just come to there senses. I've seen a few out on my visit. But that's just me thinking about the little things for the customer. Don't gamble kids!
