Lake Edward Resort

This is our third year up at Lake Edward Resort as a family and it is always so wonderful. We go with my whole family, 18 members, and always have the most delightful time.

While the cabins are definitely older and are in need of some TLC, Randy's customer service more than makes up for it. If you need anything fixed on your cabin Randy is there to fix it up ASAP.

The view and the beach are like none other and Randy's care for the property is wonderful to see.

He is out on the beach at least once a day, everyday cleaning it up, getting the seaweed picked up, and stirring up the water to ensure no algae or gross stuff is near the shore.

There is always a beautiful green space where we are always playing yard games, catch, bocce ball, or setting up sun tents and playing cards underneath.

We also rent the biggest pontoon every year and it is so nice. It fits several of us and is a great way to create memories with some of the younger kiddos in our group.

I do not fish but our party caught over 70 fish within 6 days this year. My 4 year daughter caught 9 fish alone, she had so much fun!

The cabins are so close to the water. The property is quite and you hear really no road traffic.

The location is great as well. Unfortunately we had to run to the UR up there this year and it only took us about 20ish minutes to get there.

Overall, Lake Edward Resort is an amazing getaway for families, couples, girls or guys weekends. If you want to get away, this is a great place to be.

Really nice resort, the cabins are clean and modern the staff seems friendly and they are willing to help you when you need it. The shoreline is beautiful.

My wife and I had a great time at this resort. We originally had a VRBO booked (about a month in advance) on the north side of the lake, to only find out (right when we arrived to Nisswa from the cities..) that the owner of that VRBO double booked us... We frantically searched resorts on lake Edward. We contacted Randy that runs Lake Edward Resort. Randy took us in on a last minute booking. He showed us around the resort and through a couple cabins. It was smooth sailing after we picked our cabin. Randy is a down to earth, relaxed host. If he is not helping his guests, he is keeping the property look pristine. I have stayed at alot of resorts being a tournament angler; I have to say, this was one of the best.

Nice place to stay people are good people to be around and friendly cabins are nice a/c heat running warm water good advice on fishing spots nice beach clean lake l have coming hear for 21 years and for you fishing nuts they have a fish cleaning house with running water and lights a screened in porch nice place to stay
