Peg's Countryside Cafe

This is a great little spot for breakfast. It’s a quaint little spot which is completely unassuming from the outside. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with hash browns. The hollandaise sauce was fresh and delicious. The eggs were poached perfectly. My only small complaint was I asked for well done hash browns and the weren’t. No problem because they were still great. My friend had the French toast with their homemade sausage. He gave me a taste of the sausage and it’s really delicious. It has a very distinctive flavor with a nice spicy flavor. He thoroughly enjoyed his French toast. Overall a great meal and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommended this place.

I told my wife after receiving our food... this is like something my mom made for me. Yes, she was a good cook and made every meal at home growing up. My wife said the inside reminded her of my mom's house a little bit as well, a little old fashioned with a lot of pictures on the walls. Take out a wall and add a walkway and a window to the room for expansion. I was so pleased with the look of the food, as did my wife as she quickly took a slice of my sausage, it was so good and was like a kielbasa and the size of a large hotdog. Two eggs over medium (its how I like them), no runny whites. Good hashbrowns and marbled rye for toast. So good! My wife had a side of corned beef hash, more my style of a hash where it's more smooth than chunks of the beef. Very pleasant help, drinks were kept full and not too busy at 11 am on a Monday. The sign says occupancy is 50, so it's not a place I'd come to during peak hours as there is not a waiting area (they ask you to wait in your car). With that said, it's a must try place. We'll be back to try the other things on the menu, and I hope this place is in your future for dining and finding it as good as we did. And don't be alarmed by the parking out front, as there's plenty out back. There is a back door, but if you park out back walk back to the left, it'll save a step or two.

Best breakfast/brunch spot in the area. Most menu items are under $10. Cozy dining room turns over quickly, we were seated immediately at a table for two. Standout items are the Raspberry French Toast and the Country Fried. Peg’s is worth going out of your way for - highly recommended.

I recently dined at Peg's Countryside Cafe and couldn't be happier with my experience. The food and service were both top-notch. Their pies, especially the chocolate cream and pecan, are a must-try!

One heads-up: parking can be challenging, so aim to arrive early.

Ate here for the first time today and I'm sure glad I did! Definitely a small town diner feel. The food (pictured is the Country Fried Steak) was excellent. The portions were huge as well. The servers were very energetic and super friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

Wonderful homey establishment and a pillar of the community. Affordable prices with a wide selection of American cooking, Peg’s offers all the wants and needs for the whole family. The staff is kind and witty and the decor is kitschy and has photos from all types of community members. The dining area small, but you’ll feel right at home. Food wasn’t too bad either. I've only had breakfast food here so my review is based on that. Good basic diner food. There are not a lot of spots like this in the area so I appreciate this one and hope it continues to be successful. Very reasonably priced. You won't find a better deal around. Service is always friendly. Good food + good service = why they've been around longer than others.

Nice cozy atmosphere that reminds you of your grandparents house. There are pics everywhere of precious customers and throwback Knickknacks. The food was a nice homey/ good old fashioned American breakfast. Great flavors and seasonings, with nice portion sizes and even more reasonable prices. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. She suggested menu items that turned out to be excellent suggestions.. we will definitely be repeat customers.

I stopped by Countryside cafe after a morning of picking raspberries with my friend and her two kids! Peg’s is exactly the kind of place I love to eat! It’s small and homey with pictures on the wall of some of the people they have served over the years as well as a plethora of chicken “stuff.” They are only open for breakfast and lunch and they have a lot of options for both! I had the Hamel burger with fries! The others with me opted for breakfast with kids having pancakes, eggs and bacon off the children’s menu and my friend having a skillet breakfast! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered! We even had to get another pancake for one of the girls! We arrived at 11:30ish and I was pretty busy and it got even more busy as the clock neared noon! The waitresses were really hussling to keep up! I would definitely go back again!

Oh good god... you won’t be disappointed if you traveled far to eat here. In fact, it will now be your excuse to travel always. Just look at the pictures of our food! Fresh, fast, and delicious! Yes, I was excited the entire time I savored every bite. I think next time I’ll pick the burrito up rather than eat it with knife and fork. :) My wife’s meal was equally delicious. We love breakfast in our home... I hope they don’t mind us moving in! The decor was pretty cool. Love the atmosphere and the people are super friendly! They have stories... ask questions, they’re so awesome to befriended. This concluded our gastronomical journey for the day, and WILL be a repeat destination!!! ♥

What can I say that probably hasn’t already been said about Countryside. Pictures on the wall, new expansion, and still the same amazing food. If you are looking for a stack of hot cakes and some blueberry sausage this is the place you want.

I have been wanting to try Peg's for awhile after driving past multiple times and hearing so many good things. It's classic comfort diner food. I was in and out in 30 minutes for lunch. I definitely recommed checking them out! I am looking forward to bringing the family for breakfast or brunch some time!

Just a small town Cafe outside of the cities, warm and inviting. Great food in appropriate portions, can't wait to go back for some pancakes.

Excellent food and wonderful service. It took less than 15 minutes to get our food after we ordered, and the place was fairly busy. Peg's was a welcome change from the cookie cutter bar & grill atmosphere that we normally see nowadays.

Visiting from SC. This was an awesome find! Super cozy and friendly! It was completely packed walking in so you know this is the place to be! Food was great as well and so was the service! Thanks for an awesome morning. I recommend!

tried Peg’s for the first time today and will definitely be back! Called for a takeout order and was ready in just under 15 minutes. I had the churros omelet with hash browns—delicious! my husband tried the breakfast burrito and our son had the waffle (which was a big hit with powered sugar!) can’t wait to try some more things next tome!
