The Captain's Table Fish and Chicken

I was on my way to my usual place wheni was told to try this place. Guy there was really helpful with everything. Right away the inside smells amazing. I went with the walleye with collard greens as well. This place is so good that I'm willing to drive out of my way to come back, as my usual place is right down the street from where I live. The portions are awesome for an amazing price. I am already thinking of what to get next time. Oh as for the sides, collard greens are great and those fries are so good also. I wish I took a picture of everything but once I tried it, it didn't last long.

Just discovered this place this week as I was looking for fish and shrimp for my Xmas Eve party. Got a small order to try it out and decided to give a shot. Glad I did because it was a huge hit!! Large order of cod and jumbo shrimp was cooked and packaged perfectly. Service was excellent and order was ready exactly on time. Will definitely be my go-to for the future.

My friend & I needed a quiet place to talk and catch up and grab a bite. We'd never been there before and it was already 8:30. Mimi was the best! She made sure our orders were exactly what we wanted and left us to it. She was awesome!

I literally live down the street. The food is AWESOME (Catfish, Whole wings,andfrench fries)!! Fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection!! My new go to place!

I went to Captains Table at about: 4:15pm 9/28/23. I was immediately and politely greeted by the young lady working the front counter. She was helpful and polite (it didn't seem forced). My food was well prepared and was ready when I was told that it would be. I ordered the catfish meal and the cod meal. They were well prepared neither undercooked nor over cooked. The cook came out while I was still there and greeted me very politely just as the young lady before him had done. I am saying that the next time that I am in Michigan I will remember this place. Not only 5 stars but 2 thumbs up and a snap. Thank you.

Recently started coming here because my car is down and this place is in walking distance from my home. I must say I'm not disappointed the owner is friendly, food is awesome. My fav is the pick 2 for $13.99 I always get tenders with their Mac😋

Amazing. In town for the weekend and decided to check this place out sort of last minute. All of the staff were so welcoming. We stayed and ate at the restaurant which was very clean and cozy to be in. They brought our food out with four different sauces to try out and they were all fantastic. The spicy sauce was my favorite. We ordered the popcorn chicken which is more like fresh large chicken nuggets., fries, Mac n cheese, fried okra, hush puppies and the corn. I was surprised to learn even the corn was battered and fried and tasted like butter lol. My best friend was obsessed with the okra. I agree it was great. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chef even came out himself to make sure everything was great. Best food experience while in town. Major shout out to the whole staff for being amazing and having amazing food.

First time trying The Captain’s Table and it was delicious. Perfect cook on the chicken and the fries were tasty. I had the chicken tenders , I tried the garlic sauce and the Caribbean sauce. One issue... I had to order online because no one answered the phone. For that same reason, I have no idea what the sauce flavors are I will definitely go again to try the catfish and shrimp. Also, they have kook aid. The Captain’s Table is my new go to for fried chicken.

An excellent meal, provided quickly by Mimi, who was helpful and knowledgeable. I don't even like hushpuppies, but theirs are excellent.

The fish was fresh crispy and very well seasoned! The fries had a delicious lemon pepper seasoning! Highly recommend!
