Great Matter Books

Walked into this place hoping to find a lot of children's books for my classroom. I was actually shocked by the wide variety of non fiction books they have here! And super vintage books as well. I did end up finding some unique children's books and had a good conversation with the clerk when checking out. I wasn't just a customer coming to buy books. We got to talk about some of my selections and went on to talk about life and attending college and careers we chose to study. There was also a beautiful mural painted on the side of the building!

A must do for any nonfiction reader! There is a small amount of fiction books, but most of the inventory is non fiction across a wide range of genres. I was very happy to see Michigan specific books and a great urban design section. prices range from $2-$30, but with most books in the $10-$15. The owner is a delight as well. Overall a great store

Don't judge this book by its cover! This tiny gem specializes in non-fiction and unlike most used book stores it is clean, neat and very well organized. The owner is a super-nice guy, very helpful and he runs a buy one get one for 50% off BOGO. I walked out yesterday with two hard cover, first edition books for a whopping $17.00, and if my wife hadn't been with me I would have left with an armful of books! Highly recommended...I can't wait to go back.

Great curated selection of books that don't require any real digging to find something you'll find interesting or unique. Very diverse and organized selection. The owner is one of the most personable and knowledgeable dudes I've had the pleasure of talking to. If you live out of town, it's worth the drive to go to this place alone. I can't recommend it enough.

The store has a small footprint, but an incredibly well-curated inventory — it's probably the best bookstore in West Michigan. The owner is a real salt-of-the-earth guy, too. The place is altogether a bibliophile's heaven on earth.

A wonderful place filled with non-fiction books. Lots of historical (local and global) books. Some very rare books can be found here, too. We truly enjoy this shop.

Pretty adorable place, friendly, seems to be specializing in history and avoiding kid's books and fiction. It's definitely curated. I've also sold them a few books and enjoyed the experience.

This is an intelligent bookstore, with an excellent and discriminating selection; and equally important, the books are priced to sell! Strongly recommended.

Non fiction only...and what an amazing selection!

I like this tiny bookstore even though here isn't anywhere to sit and most books are priced high like $20. That's high for new books let alone used ones. There are 2 book cases that books are $2 . Kid friendly? Nope. Buy he's very helpful and knowledgeable. The lack of a star is for the prices and lack of seating.
