Lakeside Inn Restaurant

Damn, this place is where it is at on a Friday night. Best fish fry in the area! A staff that is friendly as can be. I take all my friends and family here. Bless up Lakeside Inn! Y’all have my heart and tummy full with every Friday night!.. shoot, did I mention the pie! I got to get my slice or two on with every visit. Don’t tell my mother or grandma but Lakeside has got them beat on every pie I have tried here.

Stopped in for breakfast with a group of hungry cyclists. Jackpot! They know how to do a traditional breakfast here. Eggs perfect. Omelets great. Hash browns well browned. Meats nice. Waffle with all the trimmings excellent. Coffee adequate.

Visited this cozy family restaurant in Sand Lake and was pleasantly surprised to find the Portland, Maine lighthouse featured on the menu—a heartwarming touch! I ordered the Reuben, and it was fantastic. The meat was tender, the sauerkraut had just the right tang, and the rye bread was perfectly toasted. Overall, a memorable dining experience that felt like a little slice of home. Highly recommend!

A REAL restaurant. I am glad my kids got to enjoy a meal at the type of place I knew as a child. Fantastic food and a staff that is second to none. I'll be making the hour drive back just to have breakfast anytime.

Great food and great pricing. Our normal spot was closed and was not sure about the place at first glance and glad we went. House made bread and cinnamon rolls that are outstanding. Hot beef sandwich is one of my favorites. Still can't believe how good and how well priced it was.

Been in Michigan visiting my fiancés family for two weeks, this was hands down the best food I’ve had since we’ve been here! If I’d have set that plate on my head my tongue would’ve slapped my brain out trying to get to it! Definitely gonna make visiting the in-laws much more enjoyable😋

My husband and I live in Newaygo. We’ve been to every breakfast place in Newaygo/ Howard city. We go out of our way to come here. Best breakfast place in the area BY FAR! We’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for our food and it’s always amazing. Our server is always very kind. Will keep coming back here!
